SD is a new subbing group and I said it last week that they are another real subbing group for naruto.

I have no idea if they are better than dattebayo but their speed is incredible. (Dattebayo last year or 2 were the quickest and always released subbed naruto episodes wednesday nights at around 8 PM, they seem to have gotten a little slower to make their subs better now, which still balances it out a little)

Just go to www.dattebayo.com and wait for it. The sub usually comes out about 12-15 hours after the raw is released ( or maybe after the episode is aired ).

Or you can check out the new sub group that a previous poster linked and DL it there since it looks like they're quicker.

It seems that every week when the raw comes out there's always a "when does the sub come out" post.

This was a great episode. I've unfortunately gone and spoiled the surprises by reading the manga but with this and the last episodes I've come to realize just why the anime is so essential to Naruto.

It's great how they enhanced the fight scenes so much. Give the people what they want, that's a great way to make an anime series.

but now that naruto is back where it should be i will be posting more again.

Bleach went back to the main storyline before Naruto, I think the first episode after the fillers is 110, not sure, either 110 or 111.

Wow. DB's opening lyrics have really changed this week. They must have really been in a hurry last week. (It's too bad that I liked the older translation better, but I guess it's more accurate to the true lyrics.)

They must really want to avoid going back to fillers... they're stretching the crap out of everything. I like the additions, but I would have liked the bell battle to have ended by the end of the episode...

Pros:
- Action! Still cant believe how awesome it is to have naruto back.
- Kakashi knows omote renge? wow. Sakura and Naruto make a solid team... part with tajuu kage bunshin was sweet(altho music slightly lame), sakura's punch, naruto's rasengan,
- Gaara vs Diedra... shit. Going to be a monstrous battle. Can't wait. Get to see if Gaara has anything new to show us after time skippage.
- Good use of flashbacks... they really were useless back then eh? It was cool to see scenes from... how many years ago now? Wow...
- Kakashi is just so good... but naruto and sakura... closing in...
- undoubtedly amazing.
- exploding face spiders... cool
- diedra flying... cool.
- diedra.... cool.
- Sasori... mind control no jutsu? ... cool
- akatsuki?... fuck ya.
Cons
- Animation a bit budget/choppy at some parts. I was really hoping that animation quality wouldn't be a concern for shuppiden. Mind you, it was only for a couple parts... but still, I always sortof assumed that the nub animators got the fillers and the pros were working on shuppiden in the back room.
- Music for tajuu kage bunshin started well.. but I just really dislike that track overall.
- flashbacks, although good were a little annoying... but I guess its largely for hte purpose of timing the episode in to what they want
- The episode was only 22 minutes. I know they all are... but I can still complain. Imagine if each was a 44 min special... just imagine.

General Thoughts:
- Good episode. Unfortunately, amazing content slightly hindered by occasionally subpar animation. But still really good ep. ... ... ... gaara!!! yes!!!
- Camel toe? Sakura is 15... even if its true... don't you feel dirty? Oh wait... when they were all 12 people still wanted to see them naked. bluhg..

if u think about naruto's tajuu kage bunshin no jutsu that shows that he has improved a lot, before he could only do the half or a bit more of bunshins and only when generating chakra out of anger or almost dying situation. and he now creates this huge amount like nothing, he has greatly improved chakra control as well the timing with the replications was great even kakashi had quite some hard time trying to see were the really naruto was and all this the same day after returning from 2 and a half years of training, although i do agree they could have shown a bit more but hey lets wait for next weeks episode seems like kakashi gets a bit more serious from the preview and also we'll get the Gaara vs Deidara ;)

I can't tell if the Shippuden series is even better than the original or if the fillers just kiloled the last leg of the original series. So far, every episode of this series has me all giddy for the next week's episode. I'm glad we got a taste this episode of Naruto's growth in patience and strategy. At the same time, I want to see some new jutsus from him...even one or two. The mass shadow clone and rasengan are cool, but seem limited compared to the multiple and unique clan jutsus used by other shinobis in Naruto.

I'm using Dattebayo torrent to download naruto episodes so i get the same quality eps as most of the people here and i can say....the animation has gone down.For example look at Naruto,Sakura,Kakashi or any other character and compare it what was before(like eps before fillers).Then the difference can clearly be seen.The only good quality animation was when they showed flashbacks...Also when Naruto used Rasengan,then i was really laughing(of disappointment),the way they pictured it was completely off and there wasn't any excitement at all(to me)...At least it's the way how i see it.I can't help it if you like it,i'm guessing you have watched too many fillers and no other anime...(or maybe not,no offense)

I'm using Dattebayo torrent to download naruto episodes so i get the same quality eps as most of the people here and i can say....the animation has gone down.For example look at Naruto,Sakura,Kakashi or any other character and compare it what was before(like eps before fillers).Then the difference can clearly be seen.The only good quality animation was when they showed flashbacks...Also when Naruto used Rasengan,then i was really laughing(of disappointment),the way they pictured it was completely off and there wasn't any excitement at all(to me)...At least it's the way how i see it.I can't help it if you like it,i'm guessing you have watched too many fillers and no other anime...(or maybe not,no offense)

I totally agree with you, just a couple of days ago i watched the first episode of naruto when he paints the hokage's faces, anumation was like way way way below average compared with shippuden. i dont know how can people even bitch about the animation, i totally love it, all the shippuuden episodes have great animation if you bitch about it maybe is because either you havent watch naruto from its begining or you have no clue when it comes to animations and you cannot appreciate the upgrade that they have been making so far on the series .

Damn its been quite a long time since I posted. I more or less gave up on the Naruto and completely forgot about it over the course of the fillers. Now that it's back im finally watching it again and im really impressed.

As for this episode I really enjoyed seeing the flashbacks to the first test with kakashi and seeing them being compared to their new levels.

its not filler, combat wise. they only things that were added in the anime was tsunade, her underling and jiraiya watching. also this is no longer filler time. if something is added in, i would think that they would get permission to do so from kishi.

People seem to misuse the term filler imo. Fillers and additions are 2 different things imo. Fillers are like marathon race, bikochu, yakumo, etc related episodes. Current episode is based on manga chapters so what ever that gets shown that wasn't in the manga imo are detail additions. Which would distinguish from fillers which are usually irrelevant info to usual discussions in this section of the forum.

also the anime has to fill in the blanks that the manga cannot. can you imagine how long the manga would be if it was like that. the manga would have at least double the amount of chapters it already has and any battle would take a lifetime.

Yes he did. He broke the tree with it. Since it's a chakra manipulation though, could it really get more powerful? Pure chakra, that he can control will only go so far, there's limits to how much will stay steady. After all, Jiraiya's wasn't any stronger when he used it.
