Never read the manga, but in the anime I dont thinkhe has, maybe he smirked once does that count?

In the flashbacks, Itachi definately smiled at his brother, who is the only person he seemed to smile at.

actually no he isnt a bad person in chapter 222... sasuke says that he has never seen his brother like this ever.... and he says this wen itachi kiks his clansmens ass after they interrogate him... and look at the flash backs he seems really calm near sasuke... it seems that sasuke is the only person that doest judge him by how he looks..

I think that's a pretty poor reason to kill his whole clan,besides,if his family really is that stupid, he wouldn't be a prodigy.Then again, even my own family gets on my nerves,sometimes.

Did his mother and father seem like bad ppl? Quite the converse they were GOOD. Even if they were not; would this change anything? Itachi is a psychopath. Saying that his is just "misunderstood" and "he didnt think about the consequences" is underrating... Its not even worth to talk about him and how serious his crime is i know but i hate him so much that i cant control my hatred... I understand how sasuke feels Sasuke very well.

Itachi is evil, he's not "Misunderstood".
Kakashi's Dad is "Misunderstood", he tried to do something good, but ended up making a situation worse. Itachi knew full well what he was doing, that it was wrong, and he went through with it anyway. That makes him Evil. Granted he had reasons for doing it, but they were hardly good reasons.

Not quite. Sasuke hasn't done anything evil yet. If he'd actually killed Naruto, then yes he would have been. But seeking power isn't exactly an evil goal. Killing your best friend and then your entire family to gain power, is.

umm you second sentence proves it all but saskue is oppsing his village right now and he's a missing nin so thecnically in the narutovers he's evil.
and to get back on track itachi smiling now would be weird anyway

Seeking power instead of working hard and earning it usually leads to being evil, just look at Oro, and even Itachi, Sauske might not be evil now but he's deffenitly on the path to becoming evil
