What character do you want to play as?

Easy enough. What Naruto character, who has not been playable in aa Game would you want to play as? Include a brief explanation, and please refrain from saying stuff like, "he/she/it looks cool."

I would go with Kisame, because he would be supercheap. no one could use supermoves against him.

Or possibly, 3rd Hokage. I would want to be able to use the jutsu he used on Orochimaru. Your opponent wouldn't be able to use his arms for the rest of the battle...

It wouldn't make sense to use that move, though, because if they were to make it realistic to the series it would kill you.

Anyway, I'd say Shiino, just because, yea, he's cool.

but if i could not choose him i would pick naruto (kage bunshin, rasengan, frogs :) ) or Lee (COMBOS!!)

Kurenai would be awesome... she's my third favorite teacher in the series (behind Iruka and Kakashi, of course).

I am very curious to see her moves... her illusion moves just plain rock. They could be very fun to play around with :D

All I know is that you can play as Kyuubi Naruto, but that and full Kyuubi aren't entirely the same thing ^^;

I assumed he was talking about Kyubbi naruto.... Kyubbi would be wierder than playing with akamaru.

you would fight as naruto. you use summon and you summon Kyuubi (it is a game !!) everyone would have summons too.

I think summons would be a great idea...

but all the characters that couldn't summon a creature, would be at a great disadvantage.. u_u

everyone would be able to summon. kakashi would have dogs, sakura would have huge human eating flower, Sasuke can have eagel, hinata can have huge flying ant, neji giant scorpion. :P

they will have own summons. it is a game it doesnt need to follow anime and manga.

although at the same time, the game should stay somewhat loyal to the anime and manga...

so someone like Rock Lee wouldn't be given a summon, realistically, because he doesn't do anything like that in the series (if I'm not mistaken).

I think you can 'make up' certain moves and summons, to a degree, but.. I don't think it'd be believable for every character to have one: again, like Rock Lee, and even others like Kankuro -since he has the puppet, a summon would be almost useless- and Gaara -unless some sand.. creature.. thing.. exists-. I think to give every character a summon would be stretching it a tad.
so I think the problem is still centered on "what about those that can't summon?" or maybe, "what about those that have no need for it?" such as the aforementioned Kankuro and Gaara.

Now to think of it...
This has been proven, with the success of the Naruto (gekitou ninja taisen?) 2 game on Gamecube... most critics attribute its popularity to not only the gameplay and features, but moreso, to its accurate portrayal of its characters and storyline/setting. I know I for one, wouldn't enjoy the game half as much if I didn't feel like those characters could really be doing and saying those things... it makes it more fun because it's more real, like those moments could come directly from the show itself ^^;

It's like DBZ Budokai (The 1st one). The game would not have been as successful if it did not have one of the best story modes in all video games. It was much more fun then randomly fighting characters.
