Which do you think is the blueprint of a great nin?

do you believe that ones lineage makes a nin what they are or rather an individuals actions and abilities?

if you go for lineage then how does taht lineage begin?
if you go with individual how did that individual get to where they are at?

im not going to show much bias on this subject but i personally am leaning toward actions but you never know...

I think its more the individuals actions and abilities. Their lineage is more of a driving force to make a them better. ya'know to live up to their elders expectations.

Its definately indvisuals. I mean it takes an indivisual to make a clan or lineage start in the first place. Its really about the will, deterimination, of the person. The mindset, mentality of a person is more powerful than anything.
