The Mist Seven

In the manga, and just recently in the anime, upon the arrival of Itachi and Kisame, a group known as "The Mist Seven" was mentioned. From the tiny description we are given, they are a group of seven mist-nins who weild swords. Kisame is the first we meet of this group. I really want to see more of the seven. What do you guys think of these people?

They sound like a small renagade force for the village, Seeing as how Kisame is a S-ranked criminal and Zabuza was a missing nin. They probably handle tasks for money or for personal benifit. If i had to compare them to any group id say like an unoffical ANBU force or something like that...

since the naruto movie will or is rumored to be taken place around the mist village we may most likely see another one of the mist strong seven since i guess they are the mists strongest ninjas or most valued nins

personally i think both of them are on par in terms of sword skill and ninjutsu (shark/dragon missle). Kisame might be a bit stronger though what with his sword's chakra-eating ability and, from what i gather, he may be a bit stronger in speed.

I love the idea of seven swordsmen, Zabuza was also in this group, I want to see more members and more cool swords

Maybe theyll be another set of bad guys to take on later in the series like the Akawhatever group that wants the legendary monsters...You figure well at least SEE either of them at one point right?...

i dont know about you guys but i think kisame is pretty darn powerfull ( no chanse against itachi) but still.....asuma didnt stand a chanse against only the tip of his sword....he is pretty strong and can kill in cold blood

yeah that's was I was really surprise to learn that zabuza was one of the mist seven, I mean, he wasn't that powerfull, he was way under kakashi's level.

zabuza wasn't that much below kakashi's level...
it's just that one of them had to win... and it couldn't be zabuza...
they seemed pretty close to me, but they had different styles, zabuza was an assassin, kakashi a close range fighter...

and kisame is KEWL

lol Kisame's pretty weird lookin...I wonder what race he is...but we haven't seen really any of his abilities except the chakura sword, but I bet he's got some interesting abilities.

Itachi wouldn't let Kisame cheer for him on the sidelines if he had no worth as a criminal. He probably sends Kisame out as a scout to open some new info on an opponent like fighting styles, techs, etc. before entering himself. I wouldnt be surprised if he considered Kisame expendable...

and a thought: I wonder if the other swordsmen will have cool, different swords like a fire sword or maybe a sword make entirely of chakra like those worm things Tayuya's Oni spit out...

If I were teamed up with Itachi, I would have to do him a lot.

Anyways, I hope the Mist Seven can be somehow tied in more to the storyline. They're like the Seven Samurai...
