Nah the problem is there's a new staff and they having schedualing conflicts. However my guess is they'll do their best to have this solved by the second part.

And if you watch the RAW of the episodes you'll see the commercials that are cut by DB. I believe they advertisement claimed that it would debut be Feb. 12th.

Good ep, I would have liked a more dramatic shot when the armour guy was going to smack his mace into Gaara before Lee knocked it away, but it's not really important.

Funny how Gaara says he'll leave the armour guy to Naruto and Lee after he's rammed that spike into him! Even Sakura could have taken care of him! But I dug that, it was a different way of showing how badass Gaara is, even though they showed him pretty unevenly... he got hurt pretty easily, considering he just fell down... it's not like the Primary Lotus or anything! I suppose they had to wrap those guys up in the single ep though so I guess it can be forgiven.

Man I love the way Kankuro kills people though, what a nasty way to die in that box.

Garra was both sapped of Chakra, and weighed down by the water, which, because he's a male, tried to continue using, wasting further amounts of Chakra.

Why can't Lee and Naruto just kill one guy!? Seriously, Naruto had the chance to come up behind the guy, and stab him in the neck!

Good job for a filler, although you're right with the amount of drama...not enough. They hurried the episode. Weapons weapons weapons! I like the use of the Elemental Weaponry, just for use in SOS! Which you can go join any time! It's a fun way to game your favourite anime, with your own character!

*Ahem* So, good episode, Temari should take off her clothes and wrestle Ino in the water. That's all!

That was awesome the way Gaara killed that guy. I liked when Kankuro, Chouji, and Kiba kept getting in each other's way and they started to argue. And it was funny how useless Ino was.

Pretty good episode. I wish lee would've just dominated that fool though (he's the perfect canidate to fight him, no?) Though gaara's finish was nice (it's good to see some blood in the fillers everynow and then!) Is it just me or is gaara's hair a little different? It seems a little more realistic and less spikey.

Yeah it seems that Gaara has let his hair grow out abit and now it weighs itself down.

Anyway, as for the Kank/Kiba/Chou screwing up thing I'unno. I honestly think that both Kiba and Chouji could take that guy one on one. Kanurou too if he hadn't thrown away ruined his toys early on. I think they had to use the miscommunication to resolve the fact that a double headed wolf or a blitzing Chouji could've beat down on that kid.

And there's a reason for Ino being mostly useless in these fillers. Especially towards later on. If you think about it, she wasn't the weakest shinobi before. She was on the same level as Sakura but with more jutsu at her disposal. Thus being a little better. And she was always at the top of her kunoichi classes. However after the Chuunin exam she sees that her and Sakura are equals. She probably equated that to Sakura getting better, but still Sakura wasn't beating her yet. Yet now with Sakura's special training, these fillers are showing Ino that she must step it up and pursue the same route as Sakura if she doesn't want Sakura to beat her in anything. If she can't beat Sakura when it comes to being a shinobi, will she still have the confidence that she can beat her when it comes to the other aspects of being a girl? Time to step it up Ino! w00t! lol

As for Lee, as much as his abilities are taijutsu, they still require chakra. He pulls out a Dyanamic Entry his chakra gets sucked out before getting there and BAM! like hitting a wall of armor. While this may not be 100% accurate it seems as though that's what the anime directors were going for. And Naruto's comment, "If we run out of chakra, we can beat him on fighting spirit!", means to me that Naruto doesn't yet grasp the concept that if you run out of chakra, you die. And when he's been put to that point, he keeps fighting on what I suppose he's always assumed was fighting spirit. Yes, I know he knows about the Kyuubi, but I'm saying he may not be bright enough to put two and two together on his own yet. Oh and just to add, in the manga I don't think Naruto has killed ANYONE to this point. Actually I think the only people to've killed someone in the manga would be Kiba, Hinata, Shino, Gaara, Chouji, Neji, Kankurou and Temari in that order. (I don't think that's a spoiler seeing as I've only stated events that've happen in the anime.) My point is, it's really not in Naruto's character to backstab, let alone kill people if he doesn't have to.

I did like Ino's catching on with Shikamaru and Temari. I think this shows that Ino doesn't see Shikamaru as a peer so much as an upperclassmen. It seemed more like a little sister tagging along. I would've thought that if Ino had seen another one of her peers in a relationship with someone much older and very attractive, she'd've thought more of it. Again this is filler blah blah blah, not to be taken as real character development blah blah blah. Yawn, then again it wasn't a good time for speculation. And on top of that their relationship isn't exactly a relationship. But still, the genius of love that is Ino would've picked up on it. LOL!

Just a quicky, Sakura healing Gaara was huge in my opinion. The last they saw each other Sakura was being held hostage and slowly crushed to death by Gaara. Now Sakura is saving Gaara. Sure Sakura knows the situation and what Gaara did for Naruto and the rest of Konoha, but still to Gaara I would think this would hit home pretty well. Someone unconditionally caring for him. I'm not being all Gaara/Sakura!!!11!11one!! But I am saying I think this would only help Gaara's rehabilitation all the more.

Finally going to comment again on how awesome I think Kiba is! ^_^ He has a brain! And on top of that he was being his confident yet not careless self. Yosh! Finally Kiba's looking cool again. Between his double headed wolf, and the plan that he and Akamaru came up with makes up for his whored out roles in the fillers to date. Oh and his comparing himself to a dog as a way to avoid showing appreciation towards Kankurou was well written aswell.

this ep was so awesome, i cant get over how awesome it is to see kankuro kill someone with that technique and with gaara throwing a spike through that guys heart this was one of the most violent eps in a while, i wonder if they're trying to prepare us for a more violent shippuden, i hope so...

also that temariXshika action, so good, i liked how ino felt left out, that always happens when a third person hangs out with two people in love:p and that huge smile temari flashed, i srsly wasnt prepared for that, my heart litterally skipped a beat, its just something i wouldnt expect from her.

Oh and yes, i really appreciate how all the other characters are gettin screen time and doin stuff on their own, if only fillers were always like this:( , but even so , to the way how things are goin, i wouldnt even be totally bummed out and ranting if naruto placed the final blow ( im not saying i want that to happen, its just that to how balanced the past eps have been, if that did happen i wouldnt hate it as much)

anyways this was a great ep, the only thing i disliked was when lee & naruto were fightin that guy, it didnt even seem like a fight at all, just some lame girly punches were being thrown all over the place, but thats probly because they were tryin not to use chakra

The fight and emotions were very real this time, althought the action can be klunky at times. The enemies' abilities was a little too over the top and exaggerated.

as to this episode. wonderful in my opinion. shows more growth and connection between temari and shika, even ino notices it. to the extent that she feels like she is a third wheel both as a fighter and maybe partnership? imo the lee and naruto fight was slightly disappointing. i mean yea i expected that from naruto but lee, no.

gaara, awesome, his whole i am owning this enemy was nice, but to show that he does have a weakness is good. shows even the hardest people, no pun intended, can have a weakness. plus it also showed that adding water to his sand made him weak. and also the whole stabbing the enemy through the chest, sort of reminded me of the whole, "i need blood theme" gaara has going for him.

this arc continues to do well. nice way to segue into continuing the anime.

this is the first filler ep ive watched in a while, and i thought it was good, until it turned into crap half way through.

so gaara, seeing the water dragon coming from like 500 feet away slowly for him, decides to do ntohing but stand there. he doesent even move himself with the sand. geez, stupid.

then lee kicks like a spiked square without it ripping his foot open, and then naruto and lee go on to do crap taijutsu oon that one guy.

it also bothers me how sakura can heal people this early on, only few ninja are supposed to be capable of being medical shinobi, and from the looks of it the skill isnt supposed to be this easy to learn. im really pissed at how soon shes able to use it.

and while some people say the emotions were good, better than usual yes, but they still feel clunky and staged. as if actors are reading off a really bad script in a play (well i guess thats what filler is).

Pros:
- Probably the best filler episode to date(except I really liked drunk lee vs raiga and lee and gai vs whoever they were)
- three people, THREE, died. Cut to fuck by wind, impaled by sand spike, and pierced to death in the dark by puppet. Fuck ya.
- Shikamaru's brain to the rescue. Temari and Shika make a killer team. Ino realized her shittiness, makes a good base for her to improve in the future... although...
- It was cool to see how kiba chouji and kankouro were able to overcome their inability to work together to pull out the win...
- lee and naruto, most fitting, come and save gaara. Gaara gets creative for the win.
- Naruto isnt the hero!! Other people get screen time and roles! fuck ya!
- Although they sortof stole the plot from save sasuke arc, its probably the best concept for a filler arc we've seen. Lots of potential.

Cons:
- Chunky animation... I wouldve gotten stoked on Gaara and Temari's finishes had it not been so clunky.
- lame weapons. I can't really believe that these filler villians were enough to really pose any trouble for our characters. The wind girl was the only one that was remotely believable in terms of strength.
- lame nondescript save the kid arc... gaara acting like a bitch sucks.
- shitty lee and naruto taijutsu... fuck
- couldve done without some of the shitty arcs, made this one three times as long and animated it better, and we wouldve had ourselves an authentically enjoyable, old times naruto-extravangza.
- no villian development at all. none.

General comments:
- this arc has the best potential we've seen and probably the best content too. unfortunately, they dropped the ball on some key parts.

Things to consider:
- Gaara finish the fighting off, or will Naruto somehow, in filler fashion, get over involved. I guess we'll see soon enough.
