Who will pass the chuunin exam?

naruto isnt smart enough to be chuunin but....
he is too strong to be gennin
and the most important: he can change ppl like gaara and sasuke. he helps them to overcome their weaknesses (during first test)
Shikamaru and Naruto as leaders of one big team!!!
i would say they would be a trump card of konoha.

like i said. his attidute (dont know how to write this word :) ) makes ppl better so they would listen to him. Sasuke didnt like naruto too much when they fought zabuza first time. but thx naruto's speech and emotions he followed his plan. (very tired i am hope you will understand :P )

Yes true, but it's just sasuke. What about everyone else, will they follow his orders? Well right know there are a couple of people having a good chance to become chuunin!

Temari- She was a tough competitor to Shikamaru plus she won...even though it was by default.

Sasuke- that judged dude said that there wasn't any point to continue the match since Sasuke is already at chuunin level.

Naruto- Won his match, is most likely stronger then ordinary genin.

Shikamaru- His giant brain and stratagy making ability gave him extra points to the judge, plus the judge said that if he was to lead a mission, he'd probably be perfect in his leader and strategy making area.

I know who became chuunin and I wish that it wasn't just *BLANK!* I wanted to have more then just *BLANK!* because everyone else was pretty good, I think *BLANK!* should have became chuunin too as well as *BLANK!*

shikamaru will become chuunin for sure. He is trhe only one mature enough with the strength in all of the genins.
Naruto would need to mature a lot to be able to be commanding as a chuunin, although he is the strongest genin and he can come up with some genius methods of fighting his enemies, he is too immature.

Being a Chunnin is not just something of being strong. There are many personallity traits you need.

I think Sasuke is good enough to become Chunnin. He is strong and smart, and he showed he could lead at the Forest of Death test. He cares much about the team. He is cool and calmed most of the time. He fights well and watches for everyone's safety.

Shikamaru is a clever strategist, he just need to get motivated. I am sure if he is given a mission, he wouldn't be lazy. And if his team could be killed he would use all of his intelligence to beat his enemies.

I don't think Gaara could be a Chunnin. He is powerful but not self-controlled. He is too unstable.

Shino es strong, calmed and smart enough to become a Chunnin.

Lee is a bit inmature and I don't think he could lead. He needs to learn ninjutsu and genjutsu to be a better all-around ninja. A ninja who only understand taijutsu as an user, cannot develop a better sense of strategy and doesn't have enough resources to get through any situation.

dont agree about sasuke
sasuke could lead when he was in forsest. but after itachi appeared, he can think only about revange. we saw what happened when he faced too strong enemy. he stoped thinking. only thx naruto he started to fight. he isnt good chuunin material i think

Sasuke gets too caught up and forgets about his priorities and things. I think that he is like everyone else, chuunin material in some areas, but he's not good enough, because of the fact that he can never focus on the task at hand. See, his goal is the kill itachi. But he gets too ahead of himself. He always thinks independently even if he is sometimes protective, he still thinks for himself a lot more...just less then from the begining. In missions you have to think about the your team mates.

Shikamaru for sure.

Sasuke...well, with strength, genious and smarts, he's in. But like everyone else says, his priorities need straightning out. I think the other chuunin's noticed it when they saw him fight. He fights purely for the sake of getting stronger. He doesnt seem like he would even want to be a chuunin so he could lead a team. He'd only want to be a chuunin because it would be another step in becoming the best.

Thats not exactly a model leader.

Lee is strong, but i dont think he's...serious enough to be a leader.

Naruto...forget it. He needs to mature and control his powers a lot better before he could ever become a chuunin.

Shino i think would have been one if they would have seen him fight. He's strong and smart, and doesn't rush things. I think he would make a good chuunin.

Sakura, Ino, Choji, etc, just aren't strong enough yet.

Kiba would be good if he wasn't so hard headed and impulsive. He's like Naruto in that department. He needs to mature.

As for Neji...he has the same problem as Sasuke. His heart isnt in the right place to be a chuunin.

i dont know if there is a posibility that you can pick twice, but there were only 3 fights.......naruto and neji, shika and temari, sasuke and gaara ( unfinished)
well since the examinners gave shika the most credit i think he makes THE BEST chance, as for the rest, i wouldnt want to follow naruto, he depends to much on feeling, neji thinks he is better than anyone and might make very serious mistakes, the sound.....i doubt we will find out if their lords will tell us if they pass or not, and sasuke...........NO way in hell will they lett an uchiha grow that fast again especialy if oro is after his body and sharingan, and a chuunin grows faster than a genin,

I think Sasuke is ready. He has his vengeance in mind, but still, he is smart and calmed enough to lead through a mission, while protecting his comrades. It is true, he just want to become stronger to beat his brother, but in doing so, he has become good enough to be a chunnin, doing well at missions. He has put his life in danger to protect the ones he cares for, he is a great comrade, and that just show that he doesn't put his vengeance ahead of everything else.

We haven't heard of it. But he has never mentioned he cannot use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu. Come on, he is a Jounin. He is a taijutsu specialist, but he has never said that he only knows taijutsu just like Lee. Remember he summonned a turtle. I am sure he know ninjutsu and genjutsu. He is not like Lee. If he were, he would have say so. He only said he was a dropout who worked hard. So don't be drawing to wrong conclusions.

i have no idea what chapter all i know is that the anime is about half (normal) year behind the manga....about 50 episodes, manga is now chapter 221 and this is ???? somewhere around chapter 170

I believe that Naruto will become chuunin because, I mean come on, hes the main character. Also is you remeber when Shikimaru and Naruto caught Gaara trying to kill Lee, Gaara was kinda acting weird when Naruto was saying that he could , and will, beat him.

Ok so anyways (looks around) I know a lot of people have been thinking Shikamaru will win cause "the judge's gave a hint" and such, but if you remeber... Shikamaru forfeited thus LOSING in the first round. He could of won. Maybe, no, probally he would of became chuunin, but this was Mr. Kisimoto's way of 'killing off' Shikamaru so to speak. In other words...he made too many likeable, yet strong, contenders. Im still reading , but I still haven't found out who has won yet... ^__^
