Could Naruto... Kill?

Do you think Naruto would be able to kill? Sure he MAY have killed a jounin in episode 84.5 (lol weak jounin) and he was going to kill Haku.. but could he do it on an assassination mission or w/e? I have my doubt if he wasnt angry.. Yet again, ninja's are meant to be cold blooded killers.

Oh yeah, and Gaara to until Sasuke stopped him.

i think he will be able to kill. i dont see the problem. he wouldnt be able to kill his friends (never) but if he gets an assasination mission he will be able. not know because he isnt even chuunin but later yes.

I agree completely. All Naruto needs is the motivation. Looking back on the Haku thing: even knowing (well, he thought he knew) that Haku killed Sasuke, Naruto was still reluctant to kill Haku. But this was because he felt some sort of kinship with him (the whole lonliness abd worthlessness thing). However, he was going to kill him. And after all, when Narto gets pissed off, he gets PISSED OFF. He would kill whoever got in his way.

Thanks. I don't live in the forum, in fact this should be a limited engagement. Once i find a new job you probably won't see me again. And, i found that certain anime threads i can post in without fear ofspoiling things for people.

I agree... I can easily see Naruto becoming distraught over the death of a friend, and losing his temper, per say. I think he could lose his senses if he became suddenly angered or depressed, which would remove his sympathy.

It is true that he could not kill Haku earlier, but... I think that for one thing, he's more accustomed to all the violence around him, and getting more used to death... It may not startle him as much as it used to.

He wouldn't kill just randomly. If he was assigned a missions, he'd probably want to know why he has to kill this guy...So I'd say, he won't become some killing maniac like gaara was. He'd just kill, with a purpose.

I didn't choose either choice, because none fit my opinion. I think Naruto would kill... BUT HE WOULD QUESTION HIS MOTIVES FIRST. He isn't a cold blooded killer; he wouldn't kill without thought. He would have to have a reason first. If someone gave him a mission to kill someone, Naruto would think about how reasonable the request is first.

He did come close a bunch of times but yea its definatly possible. As soon as Haku died waaaaaaaaaaay back in the beginning I knew Kishimoto wanted to take chances with this anime by making it mature. Naruto may yet find that opportunity as well...

Maybe...maybe not, right before he almost killed Haku he stopped, because Haku was good (and Nine Tails). It obviously depends on the person ~~~ Oro, Kabuto, etc..

Naruto could defidently kill. Like many of you have pointed out , he couldn't kill just for the sake of killing. He'd have to have some purpose for doing so or if he was being controlled. As we've already seen he almost killed Haku because Haku seemed to have killed Sasuke. But for any reason other than protection I doubt he could.

I agree with the fact that someone said it should be special, and Kishimoto will probably do just that. I mean, to stain your hands with the blood of what once was a breathing and living human being is a VERY BIG DEAL! Whether other characters make it look easy, Naruto still hasn't killed another person and probably won't until it's the right time. Though I do have to say, it worries me that he hasn't killed anyone yet, he become soft on an enemy if he doesn't kill someone soon, because of his lack of confidence in killing. I mean, even when he was giving Haku a smack down, to land a killing blow seemed painful to him, dispite the fact that Haku was kind. Those are my thoughts anyways!
