Spider Man 2

Do you guys think Spider Man 2 will be the best comic movie made so far, or do you think it will fall short of expectations? Personally I think it will be much better than all of the marvel films so far ( With the possible exception of the X Men movies which were awesome).

Hells YES!! i dont know why, but the previews get me so hyped. i havent been this excited since SW: Ep1.

The first Spiderman sucked! i dont know why people like it so much. but this sequel looks worthy of my audience.

I am a huge SpiderMan fan, but i didn't really like the first movie. So Far i feel that the first X-Men movie was the best. X2 was good, but i feel they could have used more of the characters they introduced.

I'm watching Spidey 2 this weekend.. our theatre here is sneak previewing it, and I know one of the managers there so I got invited to come along... I'll tell ya if it's any good before it hits mainstream.

I didn't care for the first SpiderMan movie, so I'm sure I won't think the second one is the comic movie ever, eheh.
Although... what other Marvel comics movies have been released? I could guess at a few, but my knowledge is limited (didn't see them all).

But in any case, I hope SM2 is better than the first one.. if it is, (judging by reviews) I'll see it.

OMG, I saw it today! It was the best! I have no words to describe how good it was! It made me cry, like, four times! T-T It was not better or worse than the first movie, and it was a VERY VERY VERY good...no GREAT sequel. It is a must see!!!

This is a discussion for people who've already seen the movie! It was really good! It was the greatest, probably the only sequel that impressed me so much! The only problem I had, and only a small thing, was the timings on some sequences. Few seconds could have been knocked off where Peter was trying to get the mops back in the closet at that apartment building, and in many parts Peter was just staring into space for extra seconds...but other than that BRILLIANT!!! T-T If you saw the end...there is so gonna be another sequel! I can't wait!!! 8D

EDIT: friend refreshed my memory. The Hobgoblin was TWO people; Roderick Kingsley and Jason Macendale.

Macendale made some deal with demons in exchange for the original Green Goblin's powers. He was tricked by the demons and was turned, literally, into a "hobgoblin"

Shortly after that, Demogoblin split from him. Macendale went insane and was killed by Kingsley, who still thought he was the REAL Hobgoblin. Then Spiderman defeated Kingsley. ^_^

I just saw this movie......wow. It was kick ass! They mostly stayed true to the comics, which is a good thing. and Harry finally found his dads secret Goblin room. So theres an 80% chance that part 3's villain will be him.

and they also introduced Dr. Conner (Lizardman), which makes me think he might be in the third as well....

That movie kicked ass!! Some of the best fight scenes i have ever seen period. but one thing that conserns me thought. Peter was seen by all those people... on that train after that fight with the doc was a little unnerving.

I thought it was an entertaining movie, better than the original.
Few problems.-
Really weak characters and character relations...
I have to report the various crimes against physics (based on a comic book, I'm not talking about Spiderman, of course. I'm talking about this... 'Reactor'. Dr. Ock is supposed to be a brilliant physicist, right? Making a movie, seen by millions, do your research. Am I asking too much of them?) They should have their poetic license revoked ;)

watching fox's spiderman, I thought pete was such a sad looser cause he never got a girl. But then i peeked at his comic past. pete's got gank of girls. Superpowered and normal chicks. And that gwen stacy girl...man, it's just gank of sad. died from the fall? It's sad for pete but he doens't need a weak girl anyways.

As for villian of spidy 3, it could be son of g goblin. It could be DR. Connors. And then again, MJ did date an astrounaught. James JR. could bring Venom to earth. That would be really cool! I hope Venom is the next villian. It would be totaly cool.

for venom, you need either: 1) Spider Man to participate in the Secret Wars, and in an attempt to fix his costume up, get covered in alien symbiote. or 2) people to fly a mission out into space and bring back the symbiote on their shuttle. SpiderMan is covered with the symbiote while trying to save the city from the shuttle.

You would also need to introduce Eddie Brock, Peter's rival photographer.

That's pretty much what you need to start introducing venom...

buu... anyway, I think, seeing the way they changed the plot in Spiderman (the first movie) I think they just could make that Peter parker boss son (he is an astronaut, isn't he?) goes to the space while he meet his rival, his rival goes to take pictures from the boss son arrival and he gets infected. That could be covered on a movie you know, I think it's possible since they made that Peters spiderweb can come directly from his hands (which I found pretty stupid, I prefered the cartoon version when he made his own spiderweb with chemical knowledge).
You see, the plot always can be changed, just have care of changing it well.
