theyre gunna beat the crap out of each other and then sakura will appear to try and stop them again. Sasuke will overcome the seal and go back with naruto to grow stronger the normal way.

Sakura will die in the process :wink: ...

then near the end of the chapter, Sasuke will remember that it was Sakura who tirgger the spark for Itachi to kill his clan. She was sooo annoying that she drove him crazy, that's what cused Itachi to kill his whole clan. So instead of going to Oro, he went to get revenge by killing Sakura. Then Itachi became good again and the two HOT uchiha bothers will live happily ever after PIMPing the girls of Konoha. :P

itll definately be more flashback, the teaser line at the end of 220 was next issue or whatever "that day" so i assume it will go through the day itachi killed everyone more in depth, maybe giving us some reasons for why itachi did what he did and what not. they probably wont even show naruto and sasuke in present time just like they didnt last last issue.

flashback, but an interesting one. Uchiha clansmen arguing about mission orders and what not. I do believe this is going to be a MAJOR plot twist in the series. Just judging by two-maybe-three flashback chapters dedicated to explaining it. 5 bucks says the village of konoha heirachy is linked the the uchiha slaughter.

i actually liked this chapter....after reading the last two or three pages i think i have come to the deduction that itachi did it for sasuke to make him strong, or basically his version of making someone strong like itachi said "to have strength means to become isolated and become arrogant". As i have said before i don't think sasuke will kill itachi nor do Itachi is "evil" (hence why i always put quotation marks around evil when referring to itachi).

Itachi will most likely have some kind of redemption (like zabuza) fight or something. Maybe it will happen when oroc is about to take sasukes body then *POW* Itachi runs in and stops it, then both him and sasuke fight oroc? :shock:


PLUS: you gotta love how Itachi felt the presence of Sasuke and his father did not even notice sasuke there

I was let down. I knew it would be the continuation of the flashback, but i thought it would be a little more about "that day."

Itachi's mission must have been to kill the entire clan except for Sasuke. That would be why he never killed Sasuke, and would explain why he told Sasuke to go to bed... So sasuke would not know the truth about the mission.

Or maybe not. Speculation will get me nowhere.

well, I gotta say that this flashback was quite interesting, I discovered a sasuke that I didn't expect to, I mean the "smiling sasuke". And now the supposition wich was that itachi killed the uchiha clan to protect sasuke (to become a killing machine or something like that I don't remember who said it... :wink: ) is getting a little bit more credible (does this word exist ?? :wink: )
And finally, concerning this chapter I gotta say that I've been kinda disappointed not to see sakura kill herself...

I know it will be the most important. It'll reveal the true nature of "That day". Itachi is so much stronger than his father, and he keeps saying that "The other child is special too". Orochimaru said sasuke had more poetential than itachi, and I believe that. Itachi is to Hiashi as Sasuke is to Neji. What I mean is, Itachi is the strongest uchiha clan member to date. What if sasuke is like neji, the one destined to surpass the strongest.

It would explain why itachi left him alive. I have a feeling that the Anbu order was to assasinate the uchiha clan, as they were waaaay too strong. Itachi felt compassion and mercy for his brother and left him alive to avenge the clan, and re-start the clan at a later period. I mean logically if he wiped them all out but sasuke, people wouldn't worry about the individual survivor..and be at ease.

I think its going to have something to do with konoha's governing body.

I agree, and have no problem with the flashbacks not being filled with action. My only problem is that it said that "that day" would be the subject of 221. When i finished reading 221, they said it would be in 222. I really really want to see what the whole thing is really about, i mean, why Itachi changed from being a kind big brother, which he kinda still is since Sasuke is still alive...

ahhhhh ITACHI IS SO CONFUSING... in the manga flashbacks he seeems soo sweet to sasuke and the only person besides his mom to achknowledge sasuke... cuz his dad was kinda like ignorin sasuke

I believe that if another guy killed the uchiha clan then sasuke wouldnt have been as messed up in the head... i beleive that sasuke got even more jacked up in the head was because itachI! his own lovin brother kkilled the clan... KIND OF A SUPRISE

Its too early for that. Hes already been established as a "Main" character. Even if hes evil they can't kill him off yet. It just wouldn't be good for continuity. I mean. It'd be like killing Naruto off right here. Sasuke won't die until one of the last/later parts of the series. Probably at a key point that will send Naruto "over the Edge". I suspect if Sasuke dies..it'll be at the end of the Series..probably right before the last "Deciding" battle.

Its bad form to kill off a semi main character ;p

or maybe he was arguing with his dad and his father said some things over the line about sasuke, so itachi smacked him up a bit, then old man pops tried kicking som itachi ass and BOOM!!! itachi killed him... and I think the rest of the clan was kind of in on it... on the father's side.... just a theory, and it's got some holes here and there

eh..I dont quite think its that. You can tell from what itachi says and the way he says it. He has no reason to kill his father for something like that. I mean sure a parent can say something over the line about someone and make you mad. But Itachi seemed stable enough to not commit genocide becuase someone insulted his brother.

I wish 222 would come out..this is something I'd like to be revelaed now ;p
