how did you first come across naruto???

i first came across Naruto... jan. 2003... I read the manga in shonen jump... but then my subscribtion expired and my dad... he doesn't like mangas... he doesn't think it is real reading... (poo on him [don't get me wrong, i still love my daddy]) anyway, he won't lemme resubscribe so i turned to the internet and ta daa! bingo why don't i just watch the anime... and download the manga! w00t! so here i am, found my new anime love naruto... slowly becomeing more and more obsessed... hehe. :twisted:

It's all My friends fault! He kept braging about Naruto to me and I'm like STFU! then one boring saturday I decided to give it a shot. Oh the misery! and then I went on a naruto marathon while I should be studying for my finals....... Then it got worst as I caught up to the episodes, I had to wait each week for Naruto to air. and here I am........

I was at school and asked a person about where i could download eps of some other series (i dont remember the series, but i never ended up downloading it). He told me to try out bittorrent, so i did. He sent me a clip of one of the naruto eps (chuuninn exam) and i thought 'whoa, this looks cool) so i asked him where to find it. Due to the drain being messed up the water (heavily mixed with the chemical lime stuff) ended up filling up in the shower (about and inch or two) and I ended up with a chemical burn on my feet. Had two take two weeks off with HORRIBLY itchy feet (most insane thing i've ever felt). So I spent two weeks with my feet in water filled with ice (had to freeze then to stop the itching) and since I couldn't sleep at night due to the itching I ended up watching from 1-120 in the run of a week and a half.

i got started with naruto for a bit less than 1 year ago, i was in finland for holidays and stayed at my cousins house , and my cousin watched a lot of anime, before that i barely knew what anime was, anyway one of the animes he watched was naruto and we watched like 5 episodes or something and when i got home i just started to watch naruto from the beginning. FInally my friend in the U.S. from highschool sent it to me with a few added merchandise like Authors notes etc FAQs papers and stuff. i know a lot of friends who still think anime is for kids and some who used to. For those who used to, they changed after seriously sitting down to watch two or three good episodes. Imagine someone watching naruto from one of these filler episodes, whew!!!, he/she may stick to that idea. but if he/she starts from the beginning- he/she may easily get hooked.

my friend introduced me to it the night it was gonna air on cartoon network.he showed me some amv's without sound..and the first episode.after that i got hooked.thank god he showed me the sub before i watched the dub.

Back in 2003, some guy at my job was downloading episodes on the computer at work. He told me that Akira Toriyama made Naruto and at first I believed him. After a While I found out it wasn't Toriyama. Then like a whole year later I found out about scanlation manga and I started reading the manga too.

And then in a forum I joined. There I saw a thread "Naruto" and some pics! "WoW,this could really be worth watching"! And it was!!!

I saw some commercials for Naruto on Toonami, and I thought it was another gay show. But around christmas last year, I watched the bell test episode on toonami, and I thought it was actually worth watching.

Its quite a long story... but it all started freshman year of college for me. I was dorming so u would constantly be walkign in and out of ppls rooms for no apparent reason so one day i walked into this other kids room, i played risk and halo 2 with him a lot and his roomate was watching some kind of anime on the tv... turned out to be naruto. At the time i never heard of it and I was like wtf u watchign DBZ? He laughed and said nah Naruto, its pretty cool and shit. He asked if I wanted to borrow the huge stack of cds he had so i cna catch up and watch it next time, I kinda brushed the idea off since i was pretty busy those days.

Then After like a year when I was at home and my computer decided to break on me like all computers do on random days I sat and watched TV. At around 12 or 1 am I turned on cartoon network hoping to catch family guy or futurama... and then BAM... Naruto just came on. So i watched the episode in Dub... and was amazed. Quickly the next day when I fixed my PC witha fresh reinstall of windows... began d/ling Naruto episodes and the rest is history.

downloaded episodes from kazaa.
when there was 50 and i had downloaded 27 i found narutochaos and narutokun.
downloaded rest of the episodes (up to 75, gaara and naruto fight), when i was up to date i sign up here.
