i hope we get to see why he turned "evil" next week. Any guesses why? Could it be to help sasuke become strong or help him for another reason? Or was he angry about his clan sticking their noses in his business.

That was a good flashback unlike those pictures we already seen and cant get out of our heads already. I learned more about Itachi, maybe another reason he killed his clan was because other some Akatsuki people would do it anyways. Maybe he just had to kill them himself. From Itachi's training it seems that Itachi was stronger than Sasuke is right now. He threw the shurikens and deflected them with other shurikens and also managed to hit on like 10 meters behind him. No wonder Sasuke is so much weaker, even though we've seen some of Itachi's attacks. I believe that Black Fire is super strong and might be a bloodline? He also got to Anbu class in 1/2 year, isnt that the length of each test? He must have already been like jounin level at the time because he killed his clan so fast it was like whoa!!! Killed all the Uchina Jounins... Sasuke might take years and maybe decades to catch up. So to make sense Sasuke suddenly became 10 times as strong and will get strong super fast only to be beat yet again. Itachi was kind... in a killing the whole clan kind of way.
He seems to like Sasuke and treated him alright.

i hope they go more indepth into the day of the killing than the anime did, maybe show itachis's side of the story, instead of sasukes. i really wanna know why he killed the clan, and ya i think he left sasuke alive for some reason other than him being family, he probably wants sasuke to become powerful enough to kill him, i mean hes past up killing him twice now

while this chapter was interesting. im more interested in seeing sasuke get ass kicked by naruto.. so im pretty annoyed with it

I think the reason he killed his whole clan was because he wanted Sasuke to become stronger. Itachi notices that Sasuke isn't getting much attention compared to himself and Sasuke was acting depressed. He says the only way to make him (Sasuke) stronger is to induce severe hatred in him, or something like that. So..what better way then to kill the entire clan.
