Naruto Shippuuden: Naruto Hurricane Chronicles-- Has Arrived

Well, i couldnt wait to get an exact translation of all the 5 covers as indicated in the Announcement above. So, I searched around some of the reliable sources like 2CH, Narutoforums, Mangahelpers, etc. And this is a compilation of info. Buu!!! It is general news now. Anime Lovers should be jumping to high Heaven.


• Fillers are Going to end in Spring of 2007

• Naruto is getting a make-over: it is going to be Re-Named. The new name/title for Naruto Part 2 is:

ナルト：疾風伝 -- Naruto: Shippuu-den
Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles

(at least my translation was close)

• There is going to be a 4th Naruto Movie with the Naruto: Hurricane Chronicle tie-in.

The New Name
The renaming definately reminds me of when DragonBall got renamed to DragonBall Z- when i was growing up. I never expected this one too. At least this should indicate a divide between the about-one-third fillerized part one.

Part Two on Tv:
Time:Japanese Spring.
Dont Worry guys-- this is the real deal. Even Kishimoto organized an interview to confirm this. And he indicates that he is happy. Poor guy-- the studio was killing his project.

This could mean we could get this as early as Mid February to early March. If you tie in the fact that Naruto Movie 4 which comes in the summer is supposed to have this title then it is understandable. So at most 3 more months to go.

Other Comments
What i am sure most everyone knows about (which they shouldnt have) is Kakashi Gaiden. I dont know if it will be included in Part 2- probably at the beginning. Or whether it will be the climax for The filler season (hope not).

Anyone know a whole lot of jutsus that Naruto might learn. I can only think of the frog jutsus like the frog stomach and maybe he'll master rasengan. However, what wind skills could Naruto gain? I only know of a handful. For example, Baki showed off the wind blade jutsu. Temari has shown her wind fan jutsus, but I doubt Naruto would learn those. Shukaku used fuuton renkudan. I just don't know. I want to know how Naruto will grow so that he can measure up to Sasuke.

Confirmed: Naruto Anime Fillers to end in February; Series Re-named

It has now been confirmed that the Japanese Naruto anime series will be returning to it's original storyline as told in the Naruto manga series, coming this next February, a few short months from now. Along with returning to the story, Naruto will be getting a brand new name to go by. It is nothing big that will blow your mind, but nonetheless a couple of words have been added - Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles - [spoiler] which appears to play reference to Naruto being a Wind Element user [spoiler] This is also the name that the fourth Naruto movie, due to be released in theaters next Summer, will be going under as it is a movie that will take place after the time-skip. Now there, is something to the thankful for this Thanksgiving.

I don't know why, but I thought I read somewhere (on some fan site) that Uzumaki translated to whirlpool. I think Tatsumaki translates to hurricane... Though I'm basing that completely off of the hurricane kick in street fighter.

Everyone's so pumped for Naruto Shipuuden, but I'm pumped for Kakashi Gaiden! It should be right after this one last filler arc with the Sand.

Only problem is, it seems KG will only be a single episode. We have one off-week and 3 more fillers. That gives two timeslots before Feb. 15, the start of Shipuuden. So that means one will be Naruto's sendoff, the next is KG. I reckon it could be a two-episode special, but we just had one this last week. Have two specials ever happened that close before??

i so happy the fillers are ending, and the kakashi thing is petty important, its the frist real battle the four is in. or that least important to me. i hope it does air. Then before that they surprise us by throwing the Kakashi Gaiden at us without any warning and then throw a reairing of it soon after. It's a really good way to get people hyped up about the show again. Make it so that maybe 1 out of every 5 fans saw the KG special. People don't believe it at first, then when they learn it's true they get an immediate excitement almost like the guy had seen a UFO. lol

well, in the anime right now you know he isnt 15. It is just a few weeks after the chuunin exam and save sasuke episodes/arc.

cartoon network- US has less than 70 episodes aired so far(67-8). and that makes it about virtually halfway to where fillers begin in the Japanese version (except some fillers in b.n). if even there are new episodes every week that will mean more than one year from now before the long filler session begins.

and we all know that CN likes to milk all the money they can get-- i dont see them avoiding airing the fillers :D . i hope against hope that they do though

The second part of the Japanese Naruto anime series, Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles, has been given an official air date from an official reliable source, the pages of Shonen Jump. According to the full page ad, a one hour special featuring the characters with their new appearances will be airing on February 15th, 2007. This episode will essentially be a sneak peak of what is to come shortly after the airing of this special. It is thought that this will finally bring about the end of some of the longest fillers in anime history, that have so far stretched 80 episodes since May 25th, 2005. Well the anime is almost 4 and a half years old when Shippuuden comes around. The manga is going on 8 years old, not that it matters.

I just think Naruto's due for something like some beyond-awesome animation. But I'll be happy no matter what, as long as the production is on par with the best of Part 1 anime.

well, it is good to think like that. I can see you cant wait :D - Good!!

although i dont think that is going to happen that way. In the first place the animation will be based on the manga- so that puts it in the style and depiction of Naruto part 1 (non filler). And Naruto is not the only anime to have a part two. Classic example is dragon ball going on to Dragon ball Z. Nothing much changed in the animation style.

And going above animation is going to be too expensive- especially for episodes released virtually on 1 on 1 basis (episode/week).

it wasnt that bad, sasuke looked different, shino had his hoodie on, hinata had longer hair, etc. it'll probably look different when naruto is actually taller than sakura when standing next to her, then itll hit you. plus there aint much of a change between a 12 yr old and a 16 yr old in real life except for height, facial hair, and acne, so i think its aight.
