yah yah I realise it's kinda late to post this, but I just saw the thing last night, and I must say...

...

...

...

WTF was THAT?

Sadly, it was DBZ...

Only part I liked was when that captain was taking on all of those Sentinals while being slashed good by them. That guy was HARDDDDDDDDDDDDCORE.

I'm not into trilogies. The only trilogy that was good would probably be LotR.

Trinity died, I really hated her for some reason and I was happy with the outcome.

lol yes, I disliked her too.

And so many names/references from philosophy and religion popped up... Logos for example, the One.

Did anyone else think that the Train station was purgatory?

Adam-Ji
06-14-2004, 04:39 PM
Yeah, but I thought that was jus kinda implied ^^

Lukasz

What does purgatory means? (to lazy to check dictionaries)
Myself did not like 3 part of it. Trinitys death was soo long (neo could heal her kissed her or read a book while she was dying) Her lungs had holes so "how she could speak?" DBZ fight was pretty cool (liked the slow motion of the fist rain drops and agenst face) but it should be faster and fight should be more even. Neo had power to stop bullets to fly why he didnt use them to fight??
Second was pretty cool
but third was one of the worst movie i have ever seen
Matrix the one rules other parts shouldnt be made.

It's like a place between heaven and hell

06-15-2004, 08:42 AM
the end fight was a mix between cool special effects and lame dbz rip offs and in the air they kept hugging each other.....all in all the ending sucked and u had to understand the matrix fully to get anything that happened

the soundtrack turned me off. they could have had better songs played during that last fight scene. other than that.........it was an ok movie.

Adam-Ji

Heh, man, I didn't think of DBZ at all when I saw the last fight scene. And I liked it, I thought it was a good ending for the crappy sequals >_>

Cause I was really jus wanting them to jus have 1 movie... 1. But oh well.

Bap
06-16-2004, 04:22 AM
i thought it would be cool if the same guys who made that dbz like scene made scenes for a live action dbz movie =D

i hated trinity too, she was too boney

W4ph3r
06-16-2004, 09:19 AM
yea could have found a better looking Trinity.

(no offense to Carrie-Anne Moss)

W4ph3r
06-18-2004, 10:56 AM

does anyone know what happened to Tank???!?!

katonkage
06-19-2004, 10:39 AM

KeyserSozei
07-02-2004, 11:14 PM
that was messed up though..
they both die.. trinity and neo..
GAH!!.. pissed me off..
and so much fighting ... Dbz style like what other people say..
pretty whack..
i still say the first is the best

W4ph3r
07-02-2004, 11:19 PM
the matrix was better off with just one movie. they sequels screwed everything up. I will NEVER watch those two again.

DonkeyBalls
07-02-2004, 11:20 PM
Matrix 3 ruined it, the fight scenes were cool but it was a total let down

KeyserSozei
07-02-2004, 11:22 PM
that's exactly what i'm saying..
the first one .. man
who know's how many times i watched that..
like a kajillion times..
it never get's old..
so many people were making fun of it because it
was so popular.. like mtv.. SNL .. mad tv.. w/e

DonkeyBalls

It started going down hill after the kick ass fight in the second

yep. indiana, back, are super cool. LotR was good trilogy in my opinion. second movie was very good, first was pretty good, but third was soo boring. (yep. it was boring. sam's and frodo's talk and the fight were very boring :P )
first star wars trilogy was very good too

matrix tree was one of the worst movies i have ever seen. trinity death was too long. one guy started claping when she died :P

lol yes, I disliked her too.
She was okay in the first part, but then she became all... I don't know.

I liked Revolutions, though the Neo vs. Smith fight was kinda DBZ. I also think there were too many unanswered questions, like How can Neo do that stuff in the real world?

Lukasz
08-15-2004, 05:45 PM
because he was the chosen one!! chosen one can do many weird stuff, you know.

neo could stops hundreds of bullets but why he couldnt use the FORCE to stop agent smith.
in first part morpheus is saying that neo would be able to shape matirx acording to his will. in second part and thrid part he is only faster and stronger. and he can fly and stop bullets. no program destroying powers, no creating your own stuff, no any other cool power.
that is why i dislike the movies.
In frist part chosen one is super being (like Kyuubi), in second part he is only better human :(

BlueSpider
08-16-2004, 08:36 AM
the fight scenes looked ok at some parts i guess but neo and smith was a dbz fight
i was just waiting for a kamehameha
and the movie answered like 2 questions and asked about 6 and then it ended

Dream_Walker
11-28-2004, 06:54 PM
was i the only person who liked this movie? okay, for the record, if the neo vs smith fight was better, would the movie itself have been better ? because i think that's the problem with it

Lukasz
11-29-2004, 01:29 PM
i love kyuubi.
why?
pure evil. yeah
huge demon. yeah
pure, ultimate power. double yeah,yeah.

neo from first part on the end
awsome fighter. yeah
cool looking. yeah
pure, ultimate power. double yeah,yeah

neo in second and third part
fights like a nerd after watching japnese movies
looks like a catholic priest
and his powers sux. why he can stop a bullet and cannot stop a punch. or at least weapon. lame and lame again

it has destroyed myth of the choosen one. it sux so much

other things which made second movie not so very good
too long fight with the agents. why smith is back? neo has destroyed him.
why neo has powers outside matrix? is he some kinda telephatic, (like jean grey from xmen)?
i did not get that thing with this guy and oracle. it was plain stupid. dont get why they need zion? matrix and zion are not connected.

why third part is very stupid movie
everyone are agents. i thought i will faint when i saw that.
too much special effects. they were simply boring. and did not look cool
neo gets beaten by Matrix (smith become matrix on the end) and in first part neo was told to have powers to control matrix
neo in train station. no comment....
and the worst thing
trinnity dies. ok. i dont care. it is even a good thing. but she dies for many minutes. neo could fuck her twice before dying. oh. doesnt matter that she had five 5cm holes in her chest. no. she had to give boring enoromous speech.

both parts sux. second sux because it should be better (but imo it is a good movie) and third sux because every part of the movie (except before the fight with machines. it looked so darn cool) sux

No, I like it as well, but OMG! Back to Future is awesome! :D

Do you remember my last signature? It had something like: "BK2F rules!" and well, if you watch Doc's car, youll see those letters :)

Anyway, I'm not sure about Matrix Revolutions... It could've been better, I mean.. I agree with Neo's death, but I think that Trinity should had been left alive, you know.. I wanted her to cry for Neo and then she finishes the saga or something like that.

And well, I wondered about Tank too, its just too weird... I liked his character, it had humour :>

And well, In a certain way, I really liked Matrix Reloaded until I saw Revolutions... Reloaded gave me lots of new questions charged with action-fights as well, I like those kind of movies... and well, I dunno, Revolutions was... weird :<

Just for the record.... Actually theres a chance for a Live-DBZ movie to be released soon :)

I'd have to agree with pretty much everyone. Matrix 2 and 3 were pretty poor. The Wachowski brothers had a good idea that put special effects to good use, but in the 2nd and 3rd movies, they just picked it up and ran away with it. They admitted that they used some anime references to get the feel of the story. Ghost in the Shell feel anyone? Also, did anyone else notice the Neon Genesis Evangelion like image of when Neo was getting fried by the machine. The cabling that was attached to his back glowed like the AT field wings in the End of Evangelion movie.
Other influences I would say include Metropolis.

But seriously, including DBZ in their repertoire?! Why not Pokemon while they were at it.

How about in the second movie during the highway chase? Morpheus chops the SUV the twins were using with a katana, but when Neo was fighting the Merrovingian's lackeys he couldn't even bother cutting up their weapons.

in all three movies, I'd say my fave character had to be Seraph. Cool look, cool moves, cool name what else is there?

The trinity death scene nearly knocked me unconscious, it was soooo boring. Another cross on the 3rd movie. DBZ,soap opera melodrama, overuse of special effects.
Although, I did like how they arrange the "peace " between Zion and the Machines, that was an interesting twist.

WAAAAAY too much slow motion for me

They couldnt go 5mins without putting something in slow motion, it got really old, really quick.
