Hmm!! the yakumo arc might end in this episode. The way she could easily kill kurenai sensei if she wants- I really hope they dont do some half ass ending to defeat her. Like make her look soo weak in the end- allowing naruto to defeat her without doing much. Ofc i would say this- because the filler makers have made her look soo uber powerful.

Well from what we know just about any physical attack on her will finish her. And I don't think Naruto will administer it. Or, I should say, I hope he doesn't finish the fight. >_< Let someone else be the hero!

I dunno - I think it'd be pretty cool if Naruto jumped at her and then some sunlight reflected off his forehead protector and took her out. She'd never see it coming.

this is kurenai's arc, so she's gotta shine, but shino's bugs are also genjutsu resistant, so they come in handy alot. ^^

Well as someone said before, they are whoring Rasengan, and I think it's kinda getting old, get a new technique Naruto. It seems like he does the same techniques in the fillers all the time, Rasengan if it really needs it, but usually, Multiple Clone Justsu, Clone Jutsu, and and Naruto Rendan. Thats all that he seems to do >.> then again all Kiba does is do that tornado technique (forgot the name :p)

Gah, even as a Kiba fan this is abit over-used. Did the other voice actors get killed or something?

But still, Naruto and Kiba with no Hinata to control them. This might be a pretty funny filler. And it doesn't seem like it's gonna be an arch either so it's not that bad.

Anyway on to the actual episode... Sigh, I'm abit disapointed. They reused so much. "Good boy, Akamaru..." - "You did it, Yakumo..."... GAH! Such crap.

And what's this? This Idou monster is stronger then the One Tail!? No way... Such crap. (Note: Akamaru and Team Eight were the first to learn of Gaara's insane stength and yet Hinata says this Idou monster is the strongest chakra they ever sensed.)

shouldn't next episode be the last filler ep.I mean wikipedia shows that 209 is another season ep.So if that still is filler does this mean that we can expect another season of fillers or can they switch to real eps in the middle of the season?

the animation/models in this ep were kickass. THe monster tearing away her brain was a pretty cool part too...

And yes, naruto didnt save the day! Well, entirely save the day. Ive decided, I would love fillers if other characters got to do something...

I thought this was a good episode, and a good end to the arc. It was nice that we didn't get the "monster in me, too" speech. It came close, but it was different enough that it worked. The end truly felt heartfelt and appropriate, I thought.And I like how the aftermath of the killing of the monster caused Naruto to remember Sasuke and Orochimaru and gave him renewed resolve to find them. He normally seems to have forgotten all about him. When the fillers started, he was always going, "I need to find Sasuke!" to the point of annoyance, but at some point he dropped him entirely.

I liked how they got Naruto through the fire barrier by knocking him out. That's an out of the box way to do it!

Do they? That would be awesome! I liked this one, but I kind of wish they had taken more time with it. They could've gotten way more involved with the destruction of that thing, rather than just gettin' shanked in the skull. Naruto beating the junk outta' himself was genious! I wonder who came up with the idea, because I kind of doubt it was Naruto. Also how easily he went along with the idea of getting knocked out. You'd think one of them could just go vulcan neck pinch on him, but he decided to do it the hard way...weird I think. Did anyone else notice that when the Idou Monster was talking as a picture of Yakumo, that its mouth moved in the same 3 frames for about 15 seconds? Weak job on that.

Ok... sorry if this comes off rude by anyway its not supposed to but...

They have all grown in power and well wits... everything, since Chunnin exam Gaara so that much chakra probably doesn't make them quake in fear. And Hinata, Shino or Kiba were no where NEAR the one-tail demon fight. If your thinking Hinata should have sensed that power when they first saw Garaa, how do you explain Naruto? If she could look at garaa for one time and say OMG DEMON UBER CHAKRA. she would be like OFGZOR OMGZOR!!! NARUTO WTH CHAKARA I CANT EVEN READ IT HOLY SHIT!. :P

well thats my 2 cents... ^^

Now for episode review... Nice to see SAKURA CARING ABOUT NARUTO SOMEWHAT towards the ending XD XD XD XD and when she was with gai ^^

IF and ONLY IF they put out this quality and original story line each and every time... Thought it was awsome that she killed her inner-self yeah.... Thats all youll hear from me till next week ^^

Well, i know theres speech about the fillers ALMOSTTT BEING OVER but ive been dissapointed too many times so I am predicted 25 more weeks of filler. you heard it here first..

I agree, wouldve been cool if they had stretched this arc... I mean, the enemy ninjas all couldve had more one on ones with the chuunins, the naruto v monster fight probably couldve progressed...

I dont know, it was a good arc tho, I enjoyed it. I agree with dalcor, if the quality of fillers had been that quality the entire last... year and a half... then I wouldnt bitch about them ever.

Fun facts: Last time I saw a manga oriented episode I was in gr 12. Now I am in 2nd year uni. Wierd.

I'unno what I was thinking when I posted that. But I do know Akamaru did get a sense of that bijuu in Gaara. Remember that bijuu isn't sealed as snuggly as the Kyuubi is. But still you're right.

Another thing that sort of annoyed me... When Kiba got flamed and was laying motionless did anyone even say his name? I think I heard a "Naruto!" but that was it. So sad. Kiba shouldn't just kheeled over dead, that would've shown them.

Oh and Flyin, I can think of a number of people who would've wanted to see Naruto get the crap beaten out of him. Only one of them was there though. lol

Really glad about the Idau Monster getting killed that way, but I thought they could've had another episode rather than just speeding through it. It was well put together anyways.

Actually I think those are bugs walking on his eyelids. And you know what? I think it would've been funny if Team Eight helped in beating him up. ^_^

And I agree with you to an extent. On the one hand the monster was killed off very fast. And on top of that it was attacking Naruto in such a way it seemed that Naruto couldn't get away from it's attack, yet Yakumo gets out of her chair, turns around, jumps over him, and stabs him in the face. What's with that!? When was the last time we've seen an entire team face-off?

But on the other hand, this arch has already lasted like, six episodes. The longer we take on these archs the longer the fillers will seem to last.

Final thought, why the crap did the underplay Team Eight's reunion? "Let's draw Team Eight as crappily as we can and hold out that image for as long as we can!"... Come on. And of all people, the way Naruto looked on at Team Eight it was like he was an adult looking at children. I think all of this could've been settled by having some dialog in there. Maybe some mention of it will carry other in the next episode, but probably not.

*Wants to take a whopping shovel to the back of Naruto's head.* (Just too much of him... >_<

They need that bounty hunter dude. He owned Hinata, Kiba and Naruto pretty easily. What did he do again? Hit Hinata in the stomach, Kiba up back the head, and Naruto in the neck or something? He was pretty proficient with his one-hit KOs. Well anyway all this is to confirm the one hit KO is more then possible. My guess is either Naruto is too stupid to know better, or Kiba was the one that suggested it, lol.

Fun facts: i've gone thru two girlfriends since the filler started. Both were more agonizing to be around then watching Naruto fillers all day long.

In this epsiode Naruto got a feeling that he should also win over the kyubi inside him.
I think if that girl and Naruto become one team they can kick any ones ass..

Complaining about them is just going to make the wait worse. Instead of reading several pages of complaints, I'd have much more fun reading discussions of the episode in question. And I think most people would agree with me on that.

No, the fillers will not end "the week after next", necessarily. We've been guessing that since April. It's time to settle in for the long haul again. Hints are showing that we may be nearing the end of the tunnel, but guessing every single week that fillers will end "the week after next" is unrealistic. There is no particular reason to believe that is when they will end than a weak hope. And I'm not going to pretend that I'm fine with that. But I'm not going to dwell on it either.

Note: Semicolon, this was not directed specifically at you. I grew frustrated reading through the entire thread. Please do not think I'm trying to pick on you just because I posted right after you.

Now,.. I download random episodes here and there just to see what Naruto is lookin' like these days. I did happen to download the 60 minute special and couldn't bare watching more than 5 minutes of it. Now I watched parts of 207 and nothing has changed. **Sigh**

I have not watched the filler episodes ever since the first arc. The down grade in the animation as well as the story line is tremendous. Its easy to see that in 207. Compare the drawings of Kurenai (sp?) in this last arc to those in the Chunnin exam. Sloppy detail of her clothing as well as her overall appearance. I guess its not too noticeable but it just seems 'not as sharp'.. if that makes sense. Also, the monster that this new girl conjured (or w/e) through her paintings was horrid. Anyone else notice the lack of effort they put into it? It looked like the death god summoning (the 3rd used (the 4th's secret ninjitsu) against Oro during Chunnin exam) with just a cape on. Lame imo.

Sooo,.. only reason I started picking up the series again is because of all the talk of "fillers ending". Don't take this as a rant about fillers either. I actually had a strong opinion of this episode, although completely negative.

There are my two cents on this ep. and this filler arc.

i don't know if many of you know this but in wikipedia it actuallly tells you when the Kakashi Gaiden starts and if its true then the quote "the fillers will end soon. Please bear with us" is very true. i don't think im allowed to say what episode # it starts cause it might be a spoiler or something so i won't, but im hoping the information on wiki is true.

btw i myself don't mind some of the fillers but at the same time i wanna see the new espisodes already since its been quite a long time.

Fillers serve to remind us that its a kids show and the fillers are like PG versions of an actual storyline because no one can die and no one can get hurt.

Bleach fillers are actually worth watching.

I actually saw this filler arc...due to hearing about how good the 2 episode special. The ending was a bit of a let down but it was half way decent. Only other filler I thought was decent was the bikochu filler arc.

I was hoping for Naruto to summon Kyubi to show Idou his place...hehe.

Since I just restarted watching Naruto...the current opening is quite interesting...can we now assume Naruto is quite good at Taijutsu. He will definitely get better if he is practicing w/ the 2 best taijutsu users in Konoha.
