I know we're all waiting for the release of 202-204, but while bumming around I came accross the preview (usually at the end of ep's) for 205. It airs on the 19th and continues the Kurenai arc. Here's a link, it's streaming video.

Well it's pretty obvious that this is the continuation of Kurenai's arch. I know the writers of the fillers whore out Kiba and Hinata whenever they can, but it would be abit off for a 90 minute special that focuses on Team 8 to end, and then immediately throw more Team 8 at us.

Knowing what they say would probably turn out to be a huge spoiler for the special that not many of us have been able to see.

hahahaa-- the same thing happened to me before. there was this freakingly terrible raw i posted once- and this is no better. to be frank it is even worse- now i know why saiyaman removed it from its site although the torrent is still active, But at least we know the raw is out there- and a better one will be coming out soon.

I'm going to take a stab at the story and guess that she's the one that killed her parents and she'll find that out next time and naruto will babble on about how he has a monster too but people accept him or something.

Sigh, the main arch isn't much better. I mean it's just as predictable as the filler, just that the main arch is allowed to introduce more original things.

Anyway, animation aside, I though this episode was pretty good. It's pretty dumb that they use Kiba "dying" as a cliff-hanger and then show Kiba in the preview. And remember people, most people do not know these are filler. It's target audience are those who watch it recreationally and not uber fans like those on these forums.

Things I found interesting:

How even the anime directors are focusing on Kiba's dog-like characteristics. (cover more later)
Is this the second time in the fillers now that Naruto yells "KIBA!" as we watch Kiba "die"?
Kiba's relationship with Kurenai. Didn't see that coming.
The fact that they re-explained how Genjutsu works for those who've forgotten.
Naruto waking people from the genjutsu without using Kai.

Anyway, Kiba's dog-like personality. He isn't acting like he's trying to be the pack leader anymore. Not like he did when he was threatened by Shino. When Kurenai's around he is much more submissive. Much like how a dog acts to their pack-leader. Never walking in front of the pack leader when traveling. Following the pack-leader, reguardless of the situations. Almost being lost when the pack-leader isn't around. Thus would explain his tantrum and his uncharacteristic affection towards Kurenai. Finally him runninng blindly to find her would also fit the bill. Of course, this could also be because of him living in a all female family and thus being overprotective. Which is another dog-like trait. ^_^

Yawn, enough of my over analyzation of the episode.

As soon as they specifically point out that she has some "monster" in her subconcious that makes her too dangerous and that Kurenai disagrees that the 3rd gave the order to kill her parents and that her ex-clan members are helping the genins it's pretty much a dead giveaway as to who really murdered her parents and why they did what they did :p kinda hard to spoil.

No way dude! It was definetly her parents that killed themselves. They were practicing some crazy jutsu and dug themselves into a grave. Ok, that's way off of what it's really gonna' be, but I just hoped they'd get a new plot. I love the amount of Genjutsu in this arc. I'm a huge fan of Genjutsus, all the pshycological thriller content really has me goin' on the show agian. I think they could make some improvements, but overall I really adore how they're going about this one.

No feelings when Konoha had been destroyed when they didn't know it was a genjutsu. When I look at 100 episodes back I see alot of feelings. In fillers there is no single feeling or anything in that way.

...laser no jutsu really isn't that rediculous at all. It doesn't belong, but it's not rediculous.

Undrdog is right to an extent, though, as Naruto both adheres to anime stereotypes and has a way of repeating things (I remember feeling like I was hearing Naruto's story repeated over and over for every person we met). However, I wouldn't say it's as predictable as the filler.

But I don't really care to complain.

Well as far as the anime main arch has shown thus far, yes, nearly every bit of it you could see coming.

Chouji being the first to fight in the retrieval arch, and the fact that it would be an emotionally straining one seeing as it was obvious that Chouji was the weakest shinobi (willpower aside).

Neji's fight would be a projectile battle, probably the most obvious. And following up with the, "I'm finally free" bull.

Kiba's fight was appearent. Fight the "two headed guy", two on two. But I admit I was completely blown away by the Kombi Henge he pulled off. Him stabbing himself was too seeing as he is the boldest of the group.

Shika as the leader wouldn't be as seriously injured so that he could reflect on the mission with a clear head. Long thought out battle as always.

And that's just the Sasuke arch.

And what I meant by originality is that the main arch can introduce things such as Kiba's Kombi Henge Jutsu, while the fillers can't. So rather then advancing our heros they copy things over and over like whoring out the Rasengan.

And sigh, Karn beat me to the X-Men reference.

Oh and on a final reminder, it was just Kiba who ran after Kurenai. Yakumo seperated Kiba and Akamaru in her painting, and thus, in her genjutsu Akamaru wasn't in Kiba's jacket. Kiba ran after Kurenai on his own.

sorry, I'm new here ... Erm ... wheres Episode 205? There's 206 released, but what about 205? On YouTube they say Episode 202-203-204 on NarutoChaos.com is in real 203-204-205 - and why are there 2 Episodes named "Episode 202"? First time as "Episode 202" and then "Episode 202-204", I've seen Episode 202-204, but what about "Episode 202"? I didn't understand that ... :confused: I'm not sure about that - I've downloaded Episode 206 but this Episode started at a different place??

Edit: Okay, I've seen Episode 202 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wh1CFfSRgr4) now, it was only an unimportant special - but was that in the Manga? And what about Episode 206? If the Episode 202-203-204 was the 203-204-205, then why the episode 206 is starting at an other place? Hmm...

Yawn, I know, I know, I'm a Kiba fan. So this might not be applicable because I tend to over-analize everything, especially my favorite characters.

Anyway, just before this arch during that weird clip episode, we see people come out and talk about how awesome they are. Didn't Kiba say he was going to break it out again soon? lol Normally I'd just ignore that as the writers desperately looking for material, but it seems as though Kiba's getting more attention then I expected in this arch.

In most of the, "This episode is about this team!!!! + NARUTO!" episodes, the team itself gets ignored while Naruto gets all the attention. And this seems to be the case here. But every 17 minutes we see Kiba making himself stand out abit. Whether it be by his out of character statement to Kurenai or he appearently dies at the end of an episode.

Unfortunately from what the previews look like, it seems as though this will be another "Naruto saves the day!" deals.
