Anyone else happen to catch the episode where they used Haruka Kanata as an opening but they used different clips?

Thoughts on this anyone? (I'm pretty sure there isn't another topic like this)

My thoughts? They killed it.
If they are going to use the Japanese intros and outros, they should start with it and use the same clips.

It's by Asian Kung-Fu Generation, second intro to the Japanese Naruto? They played it on Toonami last Saturday and it totally killed it. And that was one of my favorites too. )=

I liked flow the opening theme for naruto ... i hope they dont kill that too...

well the english episodes tend to have that. They just put a compilation of clips together to make an intro, that's why i don't like dubbed. Anyways there is a new intro for the subbed, which is really great

yeah noticed about the dubbed putting pieces together to make a intro , and the outro aint much better either .. lol?

Yeah, I'd say they killed it.

Maybe they wanted to use the song, but wanted more action and to use clips from the next theme? (I think they're supposed to be at or close to the 3rd theme by now, so that's what would be relevant. But they can't use that song because they think it's too slow for kids to think it's cool. Which would be why they wouldn't use Rocks, either. Now why they wouldn't just use Haruka Kanata from the beginning, I don't know. Maybe they changed marketing strategies.)

i think they messed up with the clips from the get-go. haruka kanata is probably the best theme song, and they really messed it up with off beat clips of episodes. dubbers can go to hell for that one.
i'm taking bets, next theme will be haruka kanata's song again, but with fighting dreamers clips and episode clips from the find sasuke arc. i know it doesnt sound like it makes any sense, but thats my point.
okay, this IS the dubbed section, but i dont think i revealed anything important, did i?

I think when we get to the point that GO!!! makes sense, they'll just switch to that opening and leave it that way. Really, that's the kind of opening the seem to want, anyway. Dynamic, lots of action, hyperactive song. They'd just be doing extra work if they made a new one. And now that they're willing to use Japanese music, that seems pretty assured, to me.

lol... u guys really are poor. I just got to tell you somethin. Im german. has anyone of you ever seen a german dub? ITS HORRIBLE! they just fucked up the whole anime. They did everything wrong they could do... the voices dont fit the character... i dont even like to watch this shit...

I just wish theyd leave the originals alone, The Japanese made them best and its stupid to try and change that. They should have just let them be.

Euhm, every german dub (french as well) SUCKS.

I do not understand why you guys keep doing that. (from a neighboring country, so that's why I know about these dubs...)

naaah... one piece dub isnt that bad ;)

btw: they used original haruka kanata for the 3 arc :D no more shitfucking dub songs^^ but eeeff, im not watching it anyways :P
