You'll see him pretty early in the series (especially since the anime will probably move almost twice as fast as the manga.)

Don't know. From what I've seen it looks somewhat the animation from BECK.

Search google for "bittorrent client". It should give you a few programs that will download torrents. Then you just click on the torrent file and the programs should launch automatically and download. Although torrent speeds are random and dependant on the number of users sharing and how much of the file they have completed. You might not like it compared to direct download.

OMG!!!!
Its freaking awesome! Music edited to dramatic effect! Color and theme are moody and dark, at best! Dialogue too is awesome!

I have some reservations for Ryuk's voice tho...sounded too flat and old...I would think he's quite young....

But awesome nonetheless!!!

This flow and story mimics the manga to 100% accuracy... definately a must for fans!

Comparing the Anime to the Manga I was pretty disappointed.

I have only read a few of the manga but really love them and like the whole morbid look of it. But the anime seemed to brighten it up too much and i felt changed the mood of the show.

Hopefully the anime will grow on me as i love the manga

ep comes out sometime friday and the movie already came out and since it took them almost 4 months to to sub the 1st one, the 2nd part(Death Note the last name) will probably come out in march subed(even though they will release a movie subed one for the release in in Malaysia on February 1, 2007) so it could come out earlier.

Just finished watching episode 14 now and I love this series, I really enjoy the series which involves thinking rather than just straight out action or whatever.

I don't want L to die, I can see it getting worse without L unless they pull off something special. I can't think of any way of L getting out of it though :( unless he doesn't have a name :confused:

Another great ep, I thought Rem was going to shed a tear but no..

I think Light is getting sloppy, he's not thinking things through to the same extent he used to. Did I miss something in this episode though? After L telling Light everyone would know he was Kira if he died, as soon as the girl turned up he had mental orgasms about how he'd die today? Is there an inconsistency there?

I have NO idea what Light meant when he said Farewell to Ryuk... Ryuk doesn't love him so there's no way he can kill him is there? Do you think he's going to destroy his original Death Note and use the girls instead? I was dying for this episode and now I have to wait a whoooole week for the next!

Misa knows L's real name, and she seems fairly intelligent. Surely she'd piece together that the person she was talking to was L after seeing he had a different name. Whilst being locked up why not just ask Rem to kill L for her? I'm sure he'd do it. At that point she had nothing to lose.

I agree it's not quite as tense as episode 7 but to be fair that was an amazing episode, edge of your seat stuff. Light can't be in complete danger of being found out every single second.

Nonetheless, at this point Death Note is my favourite anime series of all time, beating even Bleach and Naruto in its prime. So I hope it stays as good til the end to solidify its place!

See, it's not particularly the death god part that makes me like the anime so much, it's the old fashioned suspense and clever twists, like a Hitchcock film. Having Ryuk in it is just a bonus and adds another layer for story. I would be REALLY disappointed if they went into great detail about the death gods, for example if the head death god came into play, since he's been mentioned before when the others talked about Ryuk tricking him. That would ruin what I like about the story.

Only time will tell though!

Hmm.. not so excited about this ep. I really need the next one to see what's going on, is Ryuk killing people for Light or did someone else find the Death Note? Surely he doesn't trust anyone else to kill in his place, and yet it must be someone he knows so that he can come into contact with the note again? Sooo confusing! And we have to wait another long week to find out what the deuce is going on :( It wasn't so much a cliffhanger as a "wtf??" episode.

The voices sound almost exactly how imagined (cause it's not like were ever told how someone sounds.) So, meh.
To me, Light looks like/is an arrogant person with high intellegence and that's the kind of voice he has, L looks shrewdish and reclusive (and he, in fact, is) and his voice seems... rather shrewdish and reclusive, Misa looks and acts like a cute spunky girl and... well, I don't think they could of given her a more typical cutesy-anime-girl voice than the one she has, Ryuuk, I dunno, I guess that's a little harder to pinpoint, but he sounds exactly how I imagined. To each their own, I guess.

Ok so im only on episode 12 I want to ask if this is just me or for everyone else.

On episode12 at exactly 18:20, the death god of the girl (second kira) she mentions

"A death god exists only to take human lifes... to shorten their lifespan"

That dont make sense because, it mentioned before on episode 3 that when a death god wrote a name on the death note then if that person is 20 years old and still has 30 years remaining and the death god decided to kill him in 10 years (31-10=20) then the 20 years will be added to that death dog.....

So the quoted " " text doesnt make sense at all...

I forget what it said about how long you can wait before killing someone. If a deathgod wrote down that in 5 years the person will die then they'd be shortening it. I forget if you can write down something that far ahead or not.

Theres no hint as of lately if Light had a plan to get his memory... New Intro: I see that really appealing to some people... but to others really turning them off(like myself). Meh I wont complain in that case.
This ep was good.. the past few eps have sortof been in a lull in the story thought... nothing HUGE has happened, I think the author did this in purpose.
But now, its finally becoming clear what Light was thinking before. He put his money on him being able to figure out who kira was before L could so he could regain his memory and somehow finish L in there.

Anyways, this ep was awesome, it doesnt look like everyones seen it yet BUT... that was awesome. We finally had a change in the droning that was happening... misa regulates.

yes it seems Misa-Misa isnt a complete bimbo after all but i have a funny feeling that L is suspectin her of bein the second kira again, Light seems to suspect her too, gah...guess i'll just have to wait till next week to see what the heck they both discovered causing them to get that intense look on their faces

and i hate having Light being ignorant of the death note, the past few eps have been kinda boring because of that but it seems to be perking up a little now after Matsuda's little stunt and this last ep was really good...reminds me of the "episode 5-10" days, man those days were good
