this chidori current is looking like a new ultimate defense, much like kaiten and suna shield because they surround the user and almost completely surrounds them.
what is your point to this, to state that it has an advantage over taijutsu users? IT DOES, so what.

just for taijutsu neji doesent have to start spinning.

the chakra comes out like it did against the punches the kage bunshin threw at neji and then he spins. he only needs to be spinning for very powerful attacks

my point was that y.o. said neji's attacks take smore time, while for plain taijutsu, no it doesent.

the punch/kick would be stopped instantly and then neji starts he spin, so its instant just like nagashi chidori.

on topic, if sasuke were to use chidori current everytime someone hit him, lol, he'd be out of chakra very quickly. Plus, it doesn't defend him ,it just keeps the enemy away, unlike kaiten

Im sure that naruto will probably get a HUGE power boost after controlling his wind element, Since sasuke is like uber strong, and he learned nature manipulation early.It would be cool if naruto got uber stronger and even changed his outfit again to match his uber strong wind chakra fille body =D! But probably not =P

huge boost in power but how bout in speed? does anyone else fink that naruto needs to heavily increase his speed if he is to catch up to ssasuke and negate teh sharingan's countering abilities since b4 he only did it wiv the boost from kyuubi which we know he cant relli use against sasuke anymore...and do u even think there will be a fight against sasuke and naruto anytime soon? akatsuki seems more pressing...

I think itll happen in the next arc, cause we still have some introductions of akatsuki members and their powers in this arc. but sasuke, oro, naruto and akatsuki are all intertwined, so there is a possibility of a meeting, but not a fight between the two yet IMO.

I don't really see Naruto being all that fast. He's a tank, able to be beat to hell and back, but still stand and take it. With his stamina and endurance he doesn't need to move fast to dodge. he can take the hit, and he can take beating long enough to find his opening

Yeah naruto's tough not because of his speed but of his endurance , remember when Neji did the kaiten or 64 palm hit thigy on naruto? he survived it and akamaru's dog jutsu attacks too

when he blocked chiyo from attacking kakashi everyone in the room was surprised at his speed(even baki, who is high level jounin).

you guys like to call him slow waaaay to much. hes fast. just not instant teleporting speed. ive never seen kakashi show that good of speed either. but nobody calls him slow

i dont think he is slow, he was fast enough to land oodama rasengan on the fake itachi, fast enough to get a clean punch on deidara, i mean he is slower than some characters( lee, gai) but its all about fighting style....imo, for chidori kakashi does some insane speed so no one talks about him being slow...chuunin exams, neji commented his speed when he released the kyuubi chakra(that may not count for some ppl but he is still a jinchuuriki so it does count)

Hey i like the idea of the wind shield, its gonna be better now, i dun care about him mastering Wind shape ( >__< forgot what is called), well, i'm just focusing on wind nature manipulation, its the best guys, he'll be able to control wind and just wave his hand throwing people and cutting them like hell ,waaa!!! @__@

What the hell are you talking about "your" focusing on wind nature, like your trying to do the jutsu at your home or something!!

I dont think that it will be a shield though, that would mean he would literally be inside the rasengan, and its a small typhoon of chakra, so I dont think thats possible!!
