If you think about it, when they referred to the other two part episodes, where-in two archs collide, did they mention the titles of the "second" episode in the preview? I know, I know, what an ugly way to introduce Kakashi Gaiden. But it would be a great way of avoiding the spoiling of a surprise.

Still, I'd almost rather they postpone the Gaiden rather then cram it into the end of the 90 minute special.

this is a kinda cool plot. However.... they fucking keep cheaping out on animation. Anyone see naruto when he was yelling wtih gennou? It was some of the most inexcusible failures of animation ive seen in awhile.

I love how the story is staying true to shikamaru and he is dominating.

Can't believe people are still moaning about "end of filler" stuff its obvious its ending soon, most likely to be after this special due at the start of october.

This current arc is pretty good so just enjoy it knowing that the fillers are going to end soon.

I thought the episode was ok, not especially good, but not too bad either....for some reason, though, i feel jipped. It's just like "I waited 2 weeks for this?" you know? well, in the devistating void naruto left in my life for those 2 weeks, at least I found bleach :) that'll sustain me for the week, i guess. But seriously, after this 2 week break, i went from naruto obsession to mild naruto interest....hope they rebound :(

I just turned to the manga. At least with this arc ending next episode (hopefully) it'll get back into the swing of things, remember...good character development, interesting plot....ohh the good old days. Even though the animation is lacking in these episodes, I appreciate that they took time developing a story, it's almost like they're practicing for when they end the filler. naruto fillers suck. theres no denying it. like one piece fillers are great, sometimes have animation better than even the real series, but naruto fillers are shit.

like when i watched ep 102-106, i didnt know it was a filler. what did i think of it? "Kishimoto you ve lost youre creativity completely" is one thing that came to my mind. Later I found out it was a filler.

Kage you need to understand that the anime people choose not to read the manga cause the anime is better in their opinion. they dont care about fillers, and most likely, kishi will tie in some fillers to the new non-filler episodes later. like memories or training or something. to put it shortly, WE know whats gonna happen, but these people dont wanna hear it, kinda like ruining the ending of a good movie.

We wouldn't know if we didn't read the manga or hear someone shout about fillers? I don't know about that... I was watching the fillers before I started reading the forum, which was way before I started reading the manga, and I could tell that they were filler.

Now, I didn't know that they were filler in terms of what's in the manga, but I could tell it was just filler in the story, like all tv shows do. You pad a few episodes between story arcs or in the middle to get more episodes out of the story. It's not just an anime thing.

However, I understand your position. I refused to read the manga for a long time, not wanting to spoil the story in the anime, which I knew I'd enjoy more due to the animation, music, color, etc. I just eventually got fed up with waiting after Dattebayo's promise of "26 more weeks of filler" passed by. I was anxiously watching the countdown, and when it got to 0, nothing changed. So I got upset and just gave up. But that was the only reason I read the manga.

Anyway, I read somewhere that they said the 90 minute special is 3 weeks away (which would make sense given LeafNinja's ep list), so I don't think we'll be seeing it this week. I expect a 30 minute episode to come online tonight, as always.

Kishi aint gonan tie in fillers in his main story ark or anything, he could care loess, the fillers were made just so Kishi could have more time to make the manga so the anime could then make some good episdoes. The only thing Kishi has to do with the anime fillers is he gets to say what cant be in the filler cause he may have other plans for this and that. the Kakashi Gaiden is only a few weeks so on the bright side we won't have to wait more then 2 weeks to see the whole ark. Ya so filler wise you could avoid every single filler and when the real story comes out you woudnt have even noticed u missed over 50 episdoes of pointless episodes, so neve exptec to ever see traces of the filler arks in the real story. it was like one whole bad nightmere the narutoverse had and never wants to go back to again. And just for the record I like the anime better (not fillers) but i also keep up with the manga simply because 60+ fillers hurts me hard. :(

Dalcor, I understand what youre saying. Having these episode threads taken over by people complaining about the continuation of fillers gets tiring quickly, but you have to understand them too. More than a years worth of shitty, annoying, badly animated, lamely thought up, poor excuses for Naruto episodes that introduce unreasonable twists not originally thought up by Kishimoto and will inevitably have no effect on the actual storyline whatsoever...is pretty taxing on people expecting to see the exciting manga plot to be animated. .....oh and please dont tell me you woulda thought that the "Curry of LIFE!!!111!" and Hinatas infamous "Laser no Jutsu" were a part of the actual storyline...
