i was going to make a thread about this. i mean i like watching his shows. i had just finished watching Nine Eleven and megamonsters on discovery and the animal planet channels when i decided to check news around the world. and then i saw this.

i was soo shocked. it is really unbelievable. a stingray- i knew they were poisonous but i always expected something far bigger to kill this man than a stingray.

yes!!! Agassi Lost. The old man with the bad back lost. I expected the ride to continue- that he was going to win - before the match. Even though i knew he had taken some pain killers just to be able to play.

when he started, the way he played and his continuous limping throughout the match made it quite clear- it was the end. I couldnt help but cry with him.

Yes- that is a stingray but this is not the one. This is the fish stingray- the one with a poisonous tail.

What amazes me is that it is so rare to get a stingray attack to the chest region. And it is even rarer to get killed by a sting ray poison. Of course a poison delivered close to the heart is always deadly.

Yeah, that was some awful, awful luck on his part. Stingrays are harmful, but as far as I know they're non-lethal...well other than this case in which the poison was injected so close to his heart that it killed him.

I can't say I'm surprised that he's dead, but I was very surprised when I heard how he died.

Anyway, I always watched his shit when I was younger, and when I got stoned I always liked to watch animal planet, so I saw alot of his stuff on there. He seemed to be one of the(very) few genuine personalities on TV, and if he was faking it, he did a damn good job of it.

Either way, his shows were always entertaining because I'm also interested in animals; not crocodiles so much, but snakes. I remember him messing around with snakes quite a bit also. Having a giant python as a pet would be interesting to say the least.(No, that wasn't sexual innuendo)

Steve Irwin, my idol when I was younger, his shows were shows that I could kill to watch as a child. steve was just really popular and well known, if the other guys got their own TV shows and made me really entertaining and had somethong about them that the audience liked, theyd be like steve as well. sides, steve is much mor extreme than most zoologists.
