pretty well done. Felt like a normal naruto episode. Hopefully this doesn't turn into something stupid very shortly. Nice to see all the village working together towards a common mission. Although the bird dropping the scrolls at the end is kinda "wtf". This better not turn out to be a secret training mission Tsunade came up with for the village (same as the waterfall village did).

I think this is the last arc. I mean, they are using the new older looking characters to some extent. And thankfully, this arc isn't half bad.

And I don't think Tsunade would do something like that to the ENTIRE village. And send ANBU to go along too. She should be fired immediately if she did that.

So, any clue how many more episodes are in this arc? I'd say 1-2 more should give them time to wrap it up and finish the filler.

Just a few more episodes....Anyway-Its kinda messed up at the end of this episode. But what gets me is the next episode....I can't believe it, they made a filler in a filler! You'd think they could stay at least semi-serious for a bit. What doesn't make sense is that Tenten and Neji figured out his trick, while ANBU didn't come close to noticing. I mean its easy to get tricked when you see a big explosion around the guy, but they knew he was a master triXter. Thats my rant, enjoy it!

The next episode isn't a filler in a filler. The only place Gennou visited that didn't have a schedule or whatever was the academy. So naturally Naruto will be going there. Academy = little nin kids running around. :D

i dont understand why people are complaining . I find this one of the best arcs, that feels the most like the old naruto days . the animation was good. IMO shika has found his match in shino for thinking the most strategic. In short i think its a good episode : id like to know where gennou is and why the plans were stolen and now being brought back , who is playing this game . But indeed if it turns out that its all a training mission by tsunade , ill be pissed :D

It starts off with ANBU questioning Naruto. They want to know about what Gennou did before they started trcking him. Naruto is useless because he has little to know memory. They use a jutsu (Time Reversal Technique) to hypnotize him and know exactly what happened. They go through his memories, meeting Gennou, eating with him, and his picture of his grandson who looks errily like a young Naruto. Next we see the different groups looking for anything different in the town from what the blueprints said there should be. Nothing is found. Ino and Sakura go to the hospital where medical nin's are putting the body back together.The Konoha 11 minus Ino Sakura and Naruto are talking about what happened. Shikamaru gets summoned by Tsunade who wants all of them to go to the boarder because she thinks theres going to be an attack from the waterfall country. He refuses and she permits them to stay. At the site of Gennous exploding finale, most of the 11 are inspecting the area. they figure out that there were two explosions so somebody could've gotten away....like Gennou. Back to the hospital, the body is put back together, it doesn't look like a carpenters body, no scars or cuts, and hinata lets us know that theres no chakra buildups, so its not a ninja's body either. A bird flys over Konoha and drops the stolen blueprints as Shikamaru, Choji and Naruto try to figure out why. At the boarder, the attacking waterfall country gets to the boarder and, leaves. It was a training exersize....the end!

i spent like 3 months downloading 3 eps a day...then i cheaped out over the last few and went to youtube to breeze through the filler =X the quality here does roxor its soxors tho! w00~

The fact is that Youtube does have a lower quality in picture and audio. If you feel its unnessecary to DL the episode by uploading it off of Youtube, you must note that uploading it uses file storage in your temporary files anyway. I agree wholeheartedly with Mousie, and prefer the quality of episodes you get with downloading. I also just burn them to DVD so I always have them without using Comp space. Good on ya' Mousie!

everybody prefers the dload quality, but some people are behind, and dont want to take forever to dload 50 eps, that can even be fillers and may end up sucking. so youtube is a nice alternative when you dont have the time or patience to dload it at the moment, because school is starting for a lot of us and the time for dloading things and going on the comp will be cut quite drastically

Mousie was being a meanie poo-poo head to youtube and the people who help others out with episodes. She can have any opinion she wants, but she wants people to stop doing the episodes on youtube- something that helps others- just because she doesn't like the lower quality. the cd and dvd is a waiste of money use it to burn better things like good movies but with youtube it doesnt waste space and it doesnt cost money and u still can keep watching it over and over again so in the end cd and dvd sux

DVD's and CD's dont lose quality, esp if you take care of them. Its like owning PS2 games and not letting your friends or family members abuse them.

Growing an anime library is not a waste imo. Maybe for me it isn't since I'm an anime girl.

But you are just not getting things to its fullest in youtube. Nearly ALL youtube videos lack quality in everyway. Picture, sound, motion. All lacking. You can't say you have seen one Naruto episode on youtube that had a really good quality. Its always choppy. The sound always sounds radio-ish.

youtube is not the win for anime. You can't deny its never in good quality.

Ya Mousie is right. Youtube is against copyrighted materials. That goes for all the major sites that will come along. That's just how it is. If you think your favourite anime series is going to be available in a couple years on youtube you are going to be very lucky to find a complete series by then. Youtube already uses automated programs to check for copyrighted material. Anime slips by a lot easier because they don't focus on foreign entertainment as much when filtering.

besides, dvdr are pretty cheap and common nowadays. And you can trade series with friends :)

This parts only been going on for a couple episodes. They've delved into a kind of mystery storyline, I like it for the most part. A lot of interesting things have happened. 'Gennou' blowin' himself sky high, but not really. Somebody actually associating with Naruto. Somebody is manipulating one of the top Ninja villages, thats pretty amazing. They almost had all but a few out of the village, just try reading between the lines on this arc, its very detailed.

like i have said before the first time i watched a show on youtube i cringed a little. The quality wasnt really that good but it was useful that i could watch an episode of mahou after i unfortunately stepped on and cracked the CD on which i had it burned.

very soon in the future i really dont think it is going to be that free. Remember kazaa, napster, etc. Youtube may experience such quite soon. save yourself by buying some cd's or dvdr's. I have soo many files burned on cd in my anime collection started in the early 90's that i am extremely glad i did. i can go back to watch fists of the north star or dragon ball, which i doubt you will find sitting on Youtube in the next 3 years. or even now. with file population increasing everyday ...

It looks like this filler arc isnt over yet. it will be nice if they gave us a nice rumble before it ends. Gai sensei seems to be appearing in more episodes nowadays. Where is Asuma-sensei. At least they should do something on him too>
