yeah same here I've been wanting to make my own sig for a while but I'm not sure I have the program to do so. could you send me a pm that has what program you used and some tips on how to make the sigs also?

i used adobe imageready, which comes with photoshop 7.0!

as for tips, perhaps u can try making one with a window, like the gaara one i made! all u need to do is create a layer as a bg, then erase a window in it and then insert frames under that layer!

as for where to get the gifs, there are quite a few websites that provide them, and u can use imageready to extract the frames from the gifs!

I don't like the latest one. 'cause the stock blends horribly, and it has no color scheme. You can do ok animation work, but that doesn't matter if the rest isn't good. So work on stuff besides just the animation, and if you're going to add directional flow in your sig, make sure it comes from him, not just a random spot.

well i agree that i did not even attempt to blend the stock, as for the animation, i think that is pretty subjective... i have made sigs with animation that is stock centered as well as out of nowhere...

aww, that one's cute...

I would have used a different font (this one seems a bit blocky, for the wavy pattern of the background and image), or maybe shaded the font to make it more dynamic.

But I really love Kakashi's animation. That's so neat :D

It's got a great atmosphere. The deep purples are gorgeous, and very dark...
I could be critical and point out small annoyances, but I can't even think of those (to be honest) with such an awesome sig.

those are brushes... which u can download off the net...

usually they are called tech brushes... u can create ur own too... but may be a little difficult and time consuming...
