For saiiyaman, it is!!! He doesnt have a fixed timeframe for releases. at times he is even later than the subs (bleach demonstrated this yesterday).

its pretty normal. Considering it airs wednesdays Japan time. which is plenty close to my time since im a 4 hour flight away from japan. Unlike the lot in the states which happens to a day behind me :D

Bleach raws have been pretty late from S^M lately :/ From the preview last week it looks like this episode is going to be a serious one. We get to see Lee again which is always nice. I hope this doesn't turn into a rehash of the episodes he had issues in around 100.

I was pretty blown away by this episode. Wasn't expecting much to be honest, but the animation really reminded me of the movies'.
Tenten was especially amazing in this episode. Her voice, her character was drawn neatly which is rare, and her animations were smooth. Not to mention her dialog was very suiting.
Lee freaking amazing. No need to say anymore.
Sakura's emotions were amazingly animated and again was close to movie quality.
Neji was shown looking stupid yet again.
Naruto... Why was he needed at all? Ah yes the running infront of Sakura without a shirt on... oooo
Too bad about next week, oh well then ending of this one I hope is as good as this.

Totally agree with UndrDog on the animation. This was well animated, and the story for this one was pretty good as well. Loved the T1000 scene. Looks like were in for a pretty good show next week.

This episode was one of the best fillers until now in my opinion and looks like the next one will even be better
Now Lee cant use ura renge and it seems he will develop a new skill on the fillers at least i think so after that guy saying he's techniques are just low grade copies

Surprising good episode. The whole "fake ninja" thing is getting a bit old though. This is like the 4th or 5th time a filler story has revolting around that. I thought it was pretty good though. Nice to see Gai in action instead of just the genins all the time.

Sadly we don't know. And at the end for those who don't wait for the preview, was said that next week would be the television debut of the second movie. Heck I'm one of the people who watch the new episodes mainly for the preview of next week. lol

This introductory episode is the best yet for any filler arc. Gotta love how it didnt start off as "OHH POOR TSUNADE, GOTTA SEND NARUTO ON A MISSION... AGAIN!".. even though it became that. It was well written and animated, they even had something happen to a character that has an impact on their life, ie. Lee's injury. I see a Lee v. Newcomer finale. THat is, assuming they dont mess it up and say "WE SHOULD TOTALLY HAVE NARUTO FIGHT THAT GUY AND THEN..... NARUTO CAN TURN INTO A ROCK AND RASENGAN HIM TO FINISH THE FIGHT! I BET PEOPLE LOVE RASENGAN! ITS BLUE!"

Pf, movies take about a year to sub. IE. They take about a year to come out on dvd, and then DB and co. can get their hands on the raw and sub it. Dont get too excited. Besides which, by the time the 3rd movie comes out subbed, you will be too in love with Naruto part two animated to care at all

Hopefully Naruto gets lost in the woods and Lee does end up helping out Gai. Maybe some nice new filler techniques to spice things up for a change. All I know is that I like seeing jounins in the filler. So sick of genin#1, genin#2, genin#3 go on a mission. How about having an episode where just Kakashi and Gai go out on a mission.

Damn, I was pretty impressed with this episode. It had the best animation of any filler so far, and watching Gai fight should be interesting, although I doubt he will use his ultimate technique, dynamicuu entury!
I just hope the next episode has the same level of quality, at least when it comes to animation. That's what annoys me the most about the fillers, crappy animation. And rasengan.

Heh nice episode, sometimes i noticed the animation kinda looked like a piece of crap on youtube, only one time tho, but that time, it looked like they were drawn in paint, but the rest of the stuff was good.

If its part of the manga why was it brought up and a download link for it posted in the anime section? The download turned out to fake but still i would rather not find out what happens till i watch it.
Well someone was stupid and mentioned it a long time ago and now everyone keeps mentioning it so it's pretty much comment knowledge in the anime section. Mousie though she fought the released sub of the gaiden; in which case it would have been released and you wouldn't be spoiled since it's the actually thing :P Alas tis was fake-oh

So,with the movie coming out next weekend- and movie 2 appearing on Tv- there wont be an anime episode next week-eh?
anyways, This episode was good- wasnt it. It is quite obvious that that yagura or whatever his name is- planned the attack on Gai-sensei. He deliberately fell into the valley/ravine and vanished- leading the sensei directly into that trap. He should be nearby and hidden- and probably come in when he thins Gai sensei is worn out.
But why is he hiding?
if he can absorb or learn jutsus that fast- as evidenced by what Gai-sensei said about him- then those kungfu dolls he is using so far may be playing a role. This role i think is in recording and later transmitting Gai-senseis reactions and movements to him one way or the other.
With the way he was able to read Lee's movements and generate counters, this guy looks quite experienced. i wouldnt be surprised if he was older. i dont expect him to defeat Gai-sensei but if Lee happens to get there too- Gai may HAVE TO leave the fight to him. which leads to this.
Tsunade-baasama already gave lee a firm warning not to use Ura Renge- hmm!! hmm!!!- we may see it yet again.

I wonder why Gai had to be trapped by the dolls...that was the only mistake in this episode.
I enjoyed the whole thing and I'm glad to see some references from serious episodes. Tenten and Sakura, as mentionned before, had great expressions and animation. This episode was quite exciting compared to the others, don't you think?

i dont think he has been trapped its just the logs that form a dojo where the fight is gonna take place rather than a sort of prison i think

But if his intention is to force Gai sensei to teach him some techniques- then he made a really elementary mistake. You cant force somebody of Gai senseis stature to teach you without any bargaining chip. There should be something more to this prison than we know at the moment.

well, i dont think it is much of a mistake. i remember what happened to kakashi-sensei vs zabuza. with someone who is reputed to know over 1000 jutsus, zabuza managed to trap him. of course zabuza is on a different level but i for one didnt expect someone with over 1000 jutsus under his belt to get trapped like that. But that was then. Now, although that may not be reason enough - they provided some form of basis for his capture. There were soo many dolls capable of individual motion. To wander into such a huge field of seemingly harmless kunfu dolls, and excitedly get further into their midst remiscing old times, and then unfortunately get caught in someone's jutsu- it is quite understandble that he got trapped. Gai-sensei's nature helped

Dude, thats what i was saying, I just cant speak very well. Obviously he must want something outta Gai, a secret technique or two, but how he's gonna manage to get Gai to show him is whats in question.
He is obviously going to use his DOJO COPY NO JUTSU technique. Isn't it great that right around the time we find out Lee is training in a dojo and enemy comes along that uses dojo punching dolls to make a dojo prison with his chakra to trap the enemies!
I hope in the next arc they having naruto eatting lots of ramen... and then a ramen nin comes into konoha and uses his chakra to trap naruto in a ramen forcefield! Then Naruto can eat his way out! Then he'll realize the nin is really just a ramen bushin and he'll eat him too only to find out some weakling nin is controlling the bushin.. then he'll fart from all the ramen and the nin will pass out! Look! filler without kyuubi or rasengan! I've saved the series!

yeah!! that is also correct. this is what Gai-sensei tells Rock Lee:
"when i teach him a technique he absorbs it like sand absorbs water".
So he is taught first and then absorbs later. the issue comes in when one considers 1) absorption of a technique by just watching and not participating in the process of learning the technique (this reminds me of sharingan) 2) or whether absorption can be done by using a jutsu to animate an entity, the kungfu dolls i nthis case; so that whatever moves the dolls sense from the opponent or had to use to fight the opponent gets transferred to the jutsu maker.
anyways, like i said above and a page or so back- he doesnt have any bargaining chip to force Gai-sensei into teaching him any techniques. Unless Gai-sensei in his lets-go-along attitude just decides to play along. or that in the prison he is trapped now, he will be forced into a fight against Yagura or a mega- doll- opponent this time- where he has no escape. If the scenarios presented above come true, in one way or another- the prison has something else that will benefit yagura and whoever he is working with.

Explaination? What needs to be explained? The dojo dolls trapped him. It doesn't matter how slow it made him look.. they trapped him. It's a filler. If he doesn't get trapped then whatever is about to happen doesn't happen and instead they make a different filler with naruto rasenganing mickey mouse or something.

anyone know around what episode number the fillers stop, i want to see sasuke after he trains with orichimaru, i already saw a pic of him in the manga but i dont read the manga, i saw it on wikipedia, what episode does he come back, this was good filler btw but im getting really annoyed by all these fillers
also naruto needs to learn more then two techniques, everyone knows like 50 and he knows like two

no one knows when the fillers will end. It was supposed to only be a season... now it's into it's third season of fillers. Welcome to the board! And yes he does need to learn new stuff but don't expect much for a while :P

well you get what i mean the episode quality has gone down alot watch 160-170 then watch 120-130 and you'll see the difference there is and I've watch most of the series in three weeks so I still remember how good the old ones were compared to the new ones why you ask the fighting has become boring the plot advancement has stopped and basically most of like 145 i think through 185 has sucked(for the most part) and 186-195 doesn't look to appealing now for me
Editand I will probibly stop watching it for a few months after i get caught up, if I have to watch filler it will be done in large quantities :P
well fights have no meaning in filler really. you just introduce a new enemy and then the characters win.
pretty much every fight prior to 135 has meaning to it.
once the filler are over i'm going to just forget about them and watch the final arc prior to them to get back in the mood for the real stuff again.

And the only episodes that didnt suck were the comedy episodes, but everything else about them, all of them were, terrible animation and fighting scenes and jutsu's, if they can be considered that!

I know I am a little off here. But could the other guy be a genjustsu user. I mean that would explain the mobility of the dolls and the "speed" with which it caught gai. Plus he was very much going along with it. So I am just as curious as you guys as to what is going to happen next.
What I don't get is that tsunade despatched the other group because she had information that gai was in trouble already. Or am I off here.

Yeah, remember, Tsunade was told that the real Yagura was intercepted and this one is a fake. I dont think it could have been a genjutsu either, the way he was fighting them, and how there was no representation of typical genjutsu, ie. trippy colours, really crazy stuff goin on, and the fact that they broke at some points.
