i can tell you who isnt a good one. rock lee cause he can only do taijutsu a good ninja is a master in all the forms of jutsu, so in that aspect sakura is a better ninja then rock lee. same with naruto, he is a terrible ninja cause he doesnt know the first thing about stealth which is what a ninja is all about.

everyone else is a good pick, so i went with my personal favorite out of the remaining which is shiki

Well, the thing is that Rock Lee could never become Hokage. Like Ebisu told Konohamaru "To become Hokage you have to become strong and learn over 1000 jutsu's"
Lee can only learn Taijutsu moves.

i think shino is the best ninja so far because he is the most well rounded, he has intelligence, probably not at shikamaru's level, but well beyond any of the other gennin. he has strength and physical abilities as demonstrated in the preliminary matches when he hit zaku. and he has a wide variety of techniques, he can use his bugs for a variety of techniques and he know something about genjutsu (when he avoided kabuto's technique).

although he is not the most talented like sasuke or neji, or the strongest like naruto and lee, or the most intelligent like shikamaru, he has the best combination of them all.

This was hard. I love Naruto, Sasuke and Shikamaru. But in the end i chose Shikamaru, because he's so bloody adorable. Not to mention he's brilliant. AND, despite the fact that he called HIMSELF a coward, he's brave. Overall an excellent ninja.

Well even though Rock Lee is only good at Taijitsu, he would be awesome in a team....his speed is a great plus... if the other two team members were good at ninjitsu...then it wouldn't really matter....but overall...Rock Lee COULD be better...

I vote for Shino. Overall he is the best in this group.

1) He is very strong.
2) No or very little emotions
3) Smart
4) Not lazy
5) Has very good stealth and tracking capabilities.

He simply doesn't have any glaring weaknesses and he is just about good in everything that Ninja needs.

ACTUALLY, according to the fact that this is a cartoon he can do anything. i am not being stupid, i am taking into account that this is all make believe shit. if i say that shikamaru can think of a plan before lee can even come close to moving, you cant prove me wrong until they fight in the anime/manga and the writer decides to make shika think faster or Lee move faster.

oh and the reason i put up what i did was to let lordblazer know, that i am sure no one wants to here about his own personal achievements in a thread about Lee

Although I like Lee, I have to pick Shikamaru because of his incredible IQ and actually using his IQ to find multiple ways and also a clear strategy to beat or help someone survive. If 1 out of around 1,000,000,000 have 200+ IQ and in the Story Shikamaru is one of them. You can be stronger than him to win, way stronger. If someone surprises him, he won't be caught off guard often and simply think of a great plan instantly. If someone is super strong and his shadow attacks or strategies dont work there is only a few solutions:death, escape, sacrifice, and luck that comes and saves him. Remember we had a chance to see a parent or parents of some of the Rookie Leafs, and that plainly shows us the possible and likely level that their children are at. Its possible that his dad is also a genuis, but a lazy genuis indeed and it leads many to believe you are weak. The main reason Lee picked Taijutus was because he trained like crazy and he was weak in the other categories. Yes, as you know ninjas are required to know a Shadow Clone to pass, yes everyone. Lee does have other basic jutsus that are required to pass, but he doesn't use them because Taijutsu is his main attack and if fast enough doesn't allow anyone enough time to start out their jutsus. Lee could beat Shikamaru just because of his speed, remember the shadow makes you do what the user does unless you have a huge charkara amount. Naruto can break through it and if Lee opens his gates Shika's team will have to find a new leader. Although many of the people can beat Shikamaru, the advantage is somewhat clear as it is the leaders job to make to complete a mission and keep their members alive and that is more important than have some strength. I must have been reading the genuis IQ level before because people on a genuis IQ scale starts at 130 for average and goes up from there. It stops near 170-180 because anyone higher than that is a super genuis and I've read somethings about them the ubergenuises of society. You can take 100 IQ tests and fail and still be a super genuis. Being a genuis doesn't mean you will be live a good life or even a practical one. IQ is just a measure of intelligence based on whatever the tester wants to test. Some say there is an EQ and SQ Emotional and Social and whatever a human can think of. There are so many IQ tests out there I could say I scored 0 on this test and like 150 on another. You then say WTH, isn't IQ super important and the answer depends on where you are going with life. I wouldn't mind going with sticking with my current IQ, but I also want to learn more about the world and the many things that are happening as well as many impractical ideas. I do have some IQ test books and even a game at home, but the minimum requirement to even do the basic ones require you to be at least at the genuis level that lord said. Oh and there is a game that I liked its pretty old, but it can be an old useful IQ test for you. The Fool's Quest, its really fun for me and there are also many other types of logic or intelligence games out there. By spending time on test theoretically you can increase you intelligence, but in doing this you are also changing the way you think making things easier or more difficult to do. There are so many genuises out there and it isn't as hard as you think to become one.

A mouse is smarter than you believe and crows and raven have high intelligence some near a three year old human. Am I lying, do cats and dogs have memory some people believe those birds have higher intelligence than these animals. I read a story about a raven, leading other animals to hunt and then they share the wealth of food and other laughing at some Caw, hah haha. We know dolphins and chimps are pretty intelligence and we often consider ourselves the top of the food chain. Remember the mothman, thats us parrots are clever too, Intelligence isn't better than survival, and Shikamaru is on top of the human food chain in terms of intelligence.

Lee is so cool, awsome, super....Fighter. But he is very bad ninja. He can only use taijutsus. the best Ninja (for now) is shikamaru. Maybe he isnt very strong but he can lots of powerful ninjas. Sasuke would have a lot of problems with him although he is much stronger. Naruto will be Hokage so he must increase his smartness :D that's why i choose naruto. He will be super powerful and he will become more mature and smarter. But for know shikamaru is the best ninja
