Gamabunta rules but monkey king can be more helpful.

1) Gamabunta is really hard to control. Even Jiraiya can't control him it seems like. You have to convince him like your life depended on it or have to prove that it is in his best interest.

2) Monkey king seems to be more calmer and wiser than the cocky (backs it up though), lazy, short tempered Gama.

3) Monkey can turn into the legendary staff of goku! Just on this fact alone I like him.

Only if Monkey could turn into a cloud that you could ride on...^^

The Monkey King Enma definitely. He's wiser and can transform into a stick that can stands against variety of weapons.

But, if you are having trouble with size (like the last battle) Gamabunta would be a better choice.

I think so, but Enma lacks bigness, he is actually quit small compared to the other kings of the summons, but he is more manouvreble when it comes to one on one battle against lets say a former hokage. But I do't think that aginst Gamabunta he would have a chance because he is tiny compared to him. But on the other hand, when battling in close quarters or forests Enma is ideal, compared to the big blob as the fropg king.

Maybe, just maybe Enma isn't the biggest form of the monkey summons, perhaps there is Oozaru form out there, the monkey emperor perhaps

imo, enma isn't a very useful summon. before u start flamin, think bout someone who's not as skilled as sarutobi like say naruto(just met jiraiya level), enma wouldnt be very useful to him cuz enma is more like just a weapon that relies a lot on the skills of the person who summoned him whereas after summoning gamabunta or oro's snake u could pretty much draw up a chair somewhere, relax and cheer him on.
