I don't know if they told us the name of the technique when Ishida has the wing, we learned a lot of the names frim Mayuri cuz he knew those techniques, but he never saw this one from Uryuu.
I don't think they've ever shown Rukia release her zanpakuto in the anime, just the manga.
And yes in the last manga chapter, Inoue tells Ichigo she had fallen in love with him and came dang close to kissing him while he was passed out. :shock:

Hey i'v been watching bleach anime, and have come to the end of what is currently out. I didn't even know there was a manga for it (silly me).

Anyways, from what i'v read there are fillers for Bleach..Could anyone tell me what chapter I should start reading from in Manga assuming i'v seen all the current anime episodes out?

what u mean u doubt he had it ready, according to the manga he was the one who gave tips to Renji about manifesting ur zanpakutou into reality/physical form...he had bankai be4 renji...so i think he did have bankai but since he is 11th squad they try to prolong a fight aslong as possible even weakening themselves .eg. zaraki's eye patch...and plus if he used bankai they would know he is captain strength and he says he never wants to leave 11th squad....

i think he got it after or during the SS Arc after he fought ichigo.the only known shinigami that weakens himself is kenpachi and he has an eye patch for that.if he had it when he fought ichigo in SS he wouldn't have lost.your skill overall improved when u can use bankia.

true but his bankai isnt exactly a skill type, more of a raw power and i got the impression he had it awhile and even gave renji assists according to their convo in the manga, but i could be wrong, and i doubt they would go back and talk about it

Reread that conversation, Renji makes a comment about ikkaku giving him tips and he asking ikkaku to teach him how to acquire bankai, read all the mangas with ikkakus fight up till he finishes the arrancar with bankai...i am fairly sure, but my memory is meh!

hmmm there's either a plot hole there,ikakku just got owned for no raosn or he didn't get it just then.renji didn't start think abut getting bankia until after he healed and broke out of the cell.ikakku could have gained bankia in that time after he lost to ichigo.but imo it's a plot hole if he did tell renji information back at that conversation.renji couldn't have asked him for it during the SS i doubt he had it on his mind like that.

You forget the 11th squad intentionally reduce their strength( the strong dudes) to prolong a fight...lets say zaraki removed didnt remove his eyepatch in time and ichigo went for a quick kill, we would never know it limited his power, its kinda the same thing, he would know ichigo could take him without it and by the time he realised he needed it to fight ichigo he had already been much too wounded....but still i could be wrong, i am basing this on a fuzzy memory....

don't know about one big folder but go to bleach exile. you can download all the manga either seperately or in volumes.

i was reading the chapter 274 discussion and it made me think of something, during the first few chapters of bleach when ichigo was fighting orihime's brother, didn't ichigo break his mask at one point, so shouldn't that have made him into an arrancar(weak one but still)

note-i skipped most of the begininng chapters of bleach since i had already seen the anime so if the whole mask breaking thing didn't happen in the manga then dont yell at me

I think that only happens when the mask breaks naturally when the hollow is gaining shinigami powers, not forcefully due to a zanpakto.

The bounto arc was a filler arc so you can skip it ... after the bounto arc the real story starts from episode 109 - 127 and then again the fillers start ... so i would say that watch these episodes and then read the manga :) ...

Posting in the manga section you are going to get more people saying manga is better and anime, posting in the anime section its going to be vice versa. I for one do both but others prefer different.

I would say stick to the anime if that is what you are used to watching, watch the bounto arc and dont skip a beat. The manga can get stagnant at times and the pacing of the anime is good.

I don't know if this has been discussed, but maybe the reason Aizen, Gin, and Tousen is because they use hollow powers, like the Vizard?

I bet Tousen fights aizen at some point. The reason being that Tousen is immune to Aizen's shikai and his own bankai would be a pain to get out of (unless you are kenpachi...) I am hoping that Aizen shows us his bankai on Tousen. That way tousen can be redeemed by showing us his real sense of justice and then get killed.
Ichigo will have to develop a relationship with Aizen before defeating him, probably from fighting him a few more times. Same way he did with Renji, byakuya and grimmjow. I think hitsugaya will get a chance to fight him again too.
And I do think that Aizen will pull out a vizard mask at the end. Same with Gin. Not sure about tousen.

If an arrancar's Zanpakuto is supposedly his hollow powers sealed into a weapon, then should be a part of them and spawn when they "arrancar-ize" no? If it doesn't pop out when the arrancar is created what exactly do you guys think is the process of the Arrancar Zanpakuto's creation? :confused:

He said that someone with twice the size of normal reiatsu for a captain can help activate hougyouku. I'm assuming he is at least twice stronger than the regular captain. Bankai is 10 times stronger than shikai mode. Wow, Hitsugaya's/Ichigo's bankai must have been nothing compared to Aizen's shikai or regular mode.

What I want to see if someone else's bankai. Hope that'll be soon.

Why the hell does Ichigos zanpakto stay in the shikia state again??

Well Ichigo relies too much on his reiatsu, that is partly why he is so weak even though it is so high. At a certain lvl reiatsu strength becomes somewhat meaningless when you have good strategy and skills.

Ichigo and Kenpachi have high reiatsu, the thing is they use their brute strength as their primary means of combat, other captains have high reiatsu but are more prone to control than raw power.

Imo, a permanent release type zanpakutou is caused when your reiatsu is far too high for one too control fully. In Ichigo's case his reiatsu grew too fast, so its harder to control than a power that is just gradually increasing.

Kenpachi and Ichigo are alike. They both rely on reiatsu, they both have xtra much of it, and they both cant controll it propertly (Ken needs an eyepatch thats sucks it away to decrese it), they both have permanent release, both place their personal justice over the law, both spares their defeated opponents, and dont forget one thing:

Yea you guys have come to equal terms,not to start the arguement back up but yes Byakuya said he lost. But did Ichigo trurly and completely win for say cut him that he passed out or killed him. This is why i say Ichigo has never defeated a captain, Ichigo won the duel but it wasn't a duel to kill or utterly defeat Byakuya.

Zaraki is anomaly but umm it's because Zaraki is a true warrior. He takes no prisoners unless your not worth killing in his eyes but Zaraki fights differently and utilizes his strengths. I can't come up with an anwser Zaraki just owns!

They go to the Valley of Screams, get their memories ripped off, then the blank souls get assigned to a newly born human. In short: He probably refers to the lifecycle, and that eventually every dead shinigami will end up in SS again. About the fight thing, he probably considers it a karma, so that no matter what new personality the renewed souls might get, their destinies will lead them back to the battle again. 'Coz its their karma.

I put it this way then: Ichigo was born in Soul Society, but his birth was against the law in some way, so Isshin and Masaki left SS to protect him. They probably changed their names too (So they could be literally anyone including the missing 10th captain from the pendelum arc, and that Hikifune chick who was promoted to the royal guard.), and thats why no one recognized the Kurosaki name in SS.

They seeked out Urahara with the request to live a "normal life" and he made 3 special gigais and linked their souls to theirs, making them becoming humans in the end.

Which means: Ichigo was the son of 2 shinigami, eg: he was born as a shinigami, hence the term "true blood" that Fisher used on him, then he started developing spiritual power when he reached puberty, because for either the reason that Urahara made his gigai to be able so, or because true blood is much stronger and can even oppose Urahara's reiatsu sucking gigai. Whichever is, he was born as a dead soul (shinigami), then was put into a human body, but in the end turned out to be a shinigami anyways.

No vizard conspiracy, no manufactured existance. Just a plan and simple help from Urahara for the sole reason to have a glimpse hope to a normal life.

I don't think so since in the process of learning your zanpaktou's name and ability, you pretty much bond and build trust with one another so I doubt that he could just yell the command and it would work.
