What do you think about the openings !
well in Canada on YTV they just put an AMV as an opening and i'm not sure if they did that on cartoon network in states but if it is the same what do you guys think of it?
i think it was ridiculous and better AMV's are out there

well, theres the same opening song for both seasons, but just a different video...here in US...

Because it costs alot of money(I believe) to license the song, maybe not though.

well isnt Naruto like one of the biggest animes ever? and the dubbers cant offord to get the original songs in there? its obvious the anime was gunna take off i mean look at dbz and inuyasha, horrible shows but they were huge!!!!!!!!!!! and i mean naruto has around 50 lovable characters, and freakin ninjas!!!!!

The openings are owned by the individual artists that recorded the song. Unlike the normal soundtrack which is made by the anime company.

So in order to get the rights to them they'd have to deal with all of the different bands. And pay each of them.

in germany its a completly different oppening ... they show allways the same one and dont set new by go ahead with the episodes... and the german one is crap ... but the japanes openings are very nice

I always assumed they licensed the song when they made the anime, and therefore when a third party licenses the show it comes with it. Could be wrong though, I dont really know how lecensing in america works, let alone Japan.

The openings on toonami are pretty bad. The Japanese openings were much better. I think that it could be because the opening is still in Japanese and the Japanese opening for the dubs is terrible.

its alot better in japanese.
WTF is up with english dubbers, haruka kanata with off beat clips from the Mou Ikkai song and the chunin exam?? disgraceful!!(as vegeta would say)

GO!!! doesnt sucks for season 3 in fact the song is awesome and this teh first time they had a jap opening in a dubbed episode on toonami.sometimes the dubbed only work for Adult swim

Where do you live. The American dub only has three opening songs. The first one was a crappy song made for the dub, the other two were awesome original Japanese songs.

The europeans have to watch a heavily censored version with openings which were created especially for Europe as far as i know. The first two openings really sucked, now they got japanese songs which are allright. Perhaps those are the same as in the US version? Does anybody know about this?

I really liked the last opening of the fillers (besides the fillers content).
