i hope they show the rest.....but then it would suck if they save the other members for some split story in the naruto universe since they split up and search the land. I would like to see what clans they are from, i hope one is from the stone/rock village and water fall and lighting...i think there were other villages we have yet to see but i can't find the site that tells the names of them all lol, but those appeal to me the most.

If the clans eyes are designed like a real-shark the clan has bad eyesight but relies on their special set of sensors to detect their prey. Also they have gills right under their eyes which can be very useful in underwater fighting. To further-more complete the look of a shark they have razor-shark teeth; which look like they are used to shred things apart. With gills under his eyes, Kisame and his clan can breath under water for as long as he wants. The gills will filter the water for oxygen and he could stay under the water as long as possible. This is extremely useful since they are from the Water Country and most of his attacks we have seen Kisame do so far have been water based jutsus.

Kisame is definantly a shark.....and laura, i agree, i think they'll be the main focus of the whole naruto thing, i think they always where planned to be, cause i mean Itachi was mentioned since the very begining of the series, episode 3

Possibly the ring is sealed onto the members hand. The only way to leave was to get rid of the ring. Since Oro can take over bodies (RAPIST!!). He just cut off his first host's arm and took over another one. Just a theory.

really? i checked in on those episodes ( 87-88 ) and i didn't see that scene with the jar and the hand in it wearing the ring. Does anybody know why oco. left that organization? is it because he just wants to destroy the hidden leaf and the organization doesn't care for that? or whats the deal? i'm not sure if it has been said or not but i'm just curious.

There is Itachi, Kisame, Sasori(means scorpion), the man with the handmouth thing, the guy that looks like a venus fly trap(back in like chappy 230+). So in all we have seen five actual members, and all nine of them in their shadowy outline forms from chappy 239 (end of part one).
Zabusa was not akatsuki, but was one of the former 7 swordsmen of hiddenmist villiage like Kisame used to be too.

The hand isn't sitting in a jar, it's sitting on a desk. If you look around the room, you will see quite a few hands around the room, most of them being used as candle holders. More than likely, he just took the ring off and put it onto one of those hands. There is no evidence (other than speculation) that that is Oro's hand, and that he was required to cut it off in order to leave the group.
