Orochimaru vs Itachi

Based on how the story's going, who do you think will be killed off first? These 2 seem to be the main villains so far. Oro is the main enemy of Konoha and is using Sasuke to hopefully become strong enough to destroy the village. The only reason he has Sasuke is because of Sasuke's obsession with revenge on Itachi. So, based on what we are given from the story, who do you guys think will survive to be the main bad guy to be finished off in a final battle?

I'm not sure which episode, but Orochimaru even admitted Itachi would beat him, plus he left akatsuki because he's afraid of him.

CR, you think that the "main villain" has yet to be revealed then? I think itd be kinda late to have a new ultimate bad guy to be revealed, but then again Kishimoto generally seems to be able to pull off a lot of things I dont think would work. Well if were between Oro and Itachi anyway, who would you think it would be?

True but the interesting thing about Naruto is that it isnt quite as "epic" as alot of stories. The good and the bad arent always clearly outlined, but I do agree that neither are the main bad guy, the "megatraon" if you will. I guess I would haveto say that to Konoha, Oro is a bigger threat right now but to Naruto, Itachi is a bigger threat.

However, if I had to pick a primary bad guy between the two, I would say oro. I think itachi will die by Sasuke's hand while fighting under oro. I think this will leave Oro alive to devise plans against konoha. Atkatsuki(ew spelling) can be seen as a pretty big threat aswell... they are crazy strong and obviously eventually with use the bijuu to attack the main villages.

I think Oro will die in this arc so I voted for Itachi but he will die soon too. I think the last battle will be Naruto vs The Fox after it is torn out of him by Itachi who promptly dies by Sasukes hand.

sorry I didnt read your post but yeah I have to say that oro is the main bad guy since he did kill the hokage and right now he is the main story but who knows how they will incorperate Akatsuki

I dont feel like the main bad guy has been introduced either and its not to late to introduce him, which most likely will be leader of atkuski and have something to do w/ naruto's past remeber we still have no idea of any family at all of narutos!

I don't know. We don't know how Itachi feels about Orochimaru's strength. He probably feels the same way he does about Jiraiya. If these two fought, it would be a good fight. But I think Orochimaru would come out on top because all he gotta do is summon Kimimaro and make Itachi use his Mangekyou Sharingan. Once he does that most of his chakra will already be depleted. Itachi's not the strongest in the world.

In term of strength, Itachi is stronger than Orochimaru. Orochimaru himself even admitted that.

However, Orochimaru seems like he is immortal. He survived 3rd Hokage's sealing jutsu, Tsunade's monstrous punches, and even 4 tailed kyubi beam. And so, I presume between Itachi and Orochimaru, Itachi will be the first to fall.

I think the reason Oro said that is b/c he doesnt match up well w/ a genjutsu type of his caliber, Or he wont be able to get out of his genjustsu if hes caught and Oro puts sharingan up on a pedistool like its the greatest thing in the world he probley just afraid of its power!

Orochimaru is definitely the main villain. Just watching the anime, you'll see how he's screwed over countless amounts of lives through deception and whatnot. What's Itachi done? killed a clan? Woooo, like I'm scared!

Thou Oro said that Itachi is stronger than him, it may be due to him overrating the power of the Sharingan, since he's so obssessed with getting it...Itachi thinks Jiraiya is stronger than him too...and Oro should be at least on par with Jiraiya, if not stronger...

if Itachi uses the mangekyou on Oro and fails to achieve the desired effect, he'll leave himself open to Oro's attack, and for an enemy of Oro's calibre, the chances of hitting him with one jutsu is highly improbable i think

we haven't seen Itachi do summons yet but if he hasn't got one, then he'll be in deep shit when Oro summons his serpent

also, Oro can summon dead shinobis...what if he summons a bunch of ppl like Yondaime, Zabuza, Haku, Kimimaro Sasori etc all at one go? Or at least a few of them...Yondaime alone, even in a "trance" state may be enough to take out Itachi...

I dont think itachi is stronger than oro. Naruto beat his 30% clone with just the oodama rasenaga and this was without going kiyubi. oro on the otherhand was able to fight evenly with naruto as four tails.

i dont think oro would be f***ed if itachi hit him with his genjutsu. Naruto wasnt able to escape bc he didnt have much exp with it, i think that was his first time tryin. Someone of Oro level would probaly be able to escape or overpower it somehow. He has more chakra than naruto when he hasn't gone kiyubi so he can probably break free of the genjustsu w/out much difficulty.

oro gets hit by oodama hell die too, unless he uses some healing jutsu beforehand thats insanely insane

Heh I agree Kage. Did you see that Oodama thing? Im pretty sure that if anyone got hit by that, they would be completely gone, Oro Itachi Jiraiya hokage or whatever, doesn't matter. Also, remember it was a 30% clone fighting Kakashi, Naruto, Chiyo, and Sakura. If it wasn't for Chiyo and Sakura, Naruto woulda been down from the start (from a 30% genjutsu even) and it woulda been Kakashi vs Itachi, which is obvious whos gonna win. The 30% is a much bigger handicap than you seem to think too. It limits how much power they have, how long they can fight, and even the amount of jutsu available to them.

Imo, Naruto probably had plenty of experience fighting off genjutsu. You think Jiraiya would just say "This is how you do it, but whatever lets move on"? No, he probably put Naruto through Genjutsu until he could throw it off. Itachi's genjutsu is insane, I wouldn't rule out Itachi's genjutsu beating Oro.

OT, but I guess this thread has gone off the original topic but i really dont care lol.

I feel obligated to chose Itachi just cause of what Oro said, but personally I think Oro cant beat him, just cause Itachi probley fears him more than he thinks.

Evidence, is what he said about jariya, obviously he respects the title and strenth of sannins!

i actually think naruto has more chakra than oro.

1. naruto has an insane amount of chakra to start with, and it definitly went up over the 3 yars training.

2. whenever oro switches body however much chakra he has is judged by how much chakra the body he took over had (sure he could increase it but still)

Why did you bring up his amount of chakra, I think honestly, especially if you count kyuubi chakra, he has more chakra than anyone in the narutoverse, reg chakra wise the only person that comes to mind would be kisame!

If Naruto could master his chakra use he could go on for a long time b4 using his backup kyuubi chakra!
