Started to think of it when I saw his painted fingers...Then things started coming all by themselves like why didn't orochimaru succeed in taking over his body simple he realized he was gay so he switched bodies to forget what he did to him when he found out (sexually speaking)
as for his clan destruction easy.
His parents found out he liked men and so banned him itachi didn't like it so he avenged by killing them and have them not tell anyone else about it;..
