Anyway it's that time again, time for CR's fight club! A panel by panel synopsis of the fights that occured this week! This time we've got a minor scuffle between Kabuto and Team Yamato!

Yamato: I'll make a guard, then we'll go.

(1-3) Yamato, Naruto, and Sakura notice something coming.
(4) They leap out of the way as several kunai hit the ground where they were just standing.
(5-7) The three land, ready to fight.
(8) Kabuto lands in front of Sai.
(9) Sai looks... emotionless, as per usual.
(10) Yamato, Sakura, and Naruto stare at Kabuto and Sai.

Kabuto: Since you apparently didn't betray us, I'll trust you here.

(11) Kabuto breaks Sai's bonds.

Sakura: He's obstinate...
Naruto: If you try and stop us, there will be no forgiveness!
Sai: . . . .

(12) Up above Kabuto, two Naruto clones prepare a Rasengan.
(13) The Rasengan finished, one of the clones begins running down the cliff.
(14) The clone falls towards Kabuto.
(15) The clone prepares to hit Kabuto.
(16) Kabuto easily dispatches the clone with a powerful kick. Sai is surprised.

Kabuto: It's useless...

Conversation between Naruto and Kabuto. Sai suddenly grabs and pins Kabuto. Yamato then holds him with his wood prison, and creates a wood clone to guard him. End.

Synopsis: Not much... Kabuto attacks and Team Yamato dodges. Then Naruto attempts to surprise Kabuto with a sneak Rasengan, and fails miserably. Sai betrays Kabuto, who is then captures by Yamato.

My Review: It's not that exciting. But it's the most action we've seen in awhile. Looks like things will be heating up again. With Orochimaru Vs. Sai and Naruto. Looks like it might be Sakura who finds Sasuke first.

Kabuto is still alive. He's being guarded by a Yamato clone at the moment.

Anyway, I think that Sai is 100% on Naruto's side now. But that he might try and act like he's betraying him to sneak attack Orochimaru.

Remember, Naruto is very weak now. Orochimaru isn't doing so hot himself, but I get the feeling he's better off then Naruto. So this upcoming encounter is probably going to mostly be Sai Vs. Orochimaru, instead of Sai/Naruto Vs. Orochimaru.

And I'm looking forward to Sakura meeting Sasuke. Will he be able to fight seriously with her? I think he'll probably ignore her and focus on fighting Yamato instead.

Am I the only one who found this chapter totally lame-o-tronic!? Much to our suprise Naruto is again changing some previous villain with his great personality and his keen sense of friendship into a virtuous person. Wurgh! I can't stand it anymore! This whole concept is totally through.
And by the way: He should just kill this Sai guy, just because he wears the gayest shinobi outfit ever - tight and and belly free!
The only thing good about Sai are the penis jokes.

I'm seriously waiting for the revelation that Naruto's Kyuubi chakra subtly manipulates the minds of those around him, taking a mental instability or weakness and coercing it towards a path either desired by or beneficial to Naruto/Kyuubi. Not to mention that Akatsuki actually hunts him and the other Jinchuuriki to acquire this power and enhance it with the others' also immense chakra, enabling them to fully control any shinobi they come across. Would be a nice surprise, not to mention satisfying to see Naruto's face when he realizes all of his "friendships" might have been caused by the Kyuubi chakra, ever since it started to leak out at the age of 10 (approximately, I can't remember exactly).

Chapter was pretty lame IMO. But the manga is bound to be more slow paced than a 20 min anime i guess, i only find it good when i read it in bulks of ten chaps.

Unfortunately dudes we all know there isn't going to be any fighting next week. Sai will just knock Naruto out or make some ridiculous excuse saying how he was let out by Kabuto and just captured Naruto. Then Naruto is put in a cell, Oro says well done and then tries to kills Sai anyway because he's not that stupid, and then etc. etc.

Yamato didnt use a kage bunshin. It was a moku bunshin. I could be totally different from how a Kage bunshin works.

Anyway, This arc has been really boring so far. the Naruto/Oro fight was really anti-climactic and ever since then Kishimoto has been dragging the story along. Telling us the same things over and over. And this whole Sai turning good thing was, of course, going to happen, but I was surprised it wasnt after a battle.

I predict Oro will lead Naeruto and sai to Sasuke. It would be good to see some action soon.

Does anyone still expect someone to die in this encounter? First i pinned it on Yamato but now it is Sai.

with Sai's quick conversion to narutos side, and the meeting of a weakened naruto + sai and Oro- it feels like kishimoto is about to do off sai. it reminds me of kimimaro and Sasori- powerful characters who for some reason got offed from the show.
we may see sai challenge Oro with his best jutsus since he knows Naruto is down for the count at the moment; and of course he will lose. Naruto goes crazy afterwards- this looks to be a prelude to showcasing whatever secret jutsu Jiraiya was talking about.

Just a prediction. i hope though that sai stays alive.

well in the training, naruto created a clone of sai and used him to deliver the rasengen at yamato while sai hid in the bushes untill yamato came towards him and he then caught him.

I know that everyone will rant and dissagree but id have to say that at this point, Sai is definitly stronger than naruto.

True If you think about it like that Naruto having been trained under Jiriyai a sannin for 2 1/2 years probally does make him stringer than anyone? =/ same goes to sakura and sasuke

Well not anyone but the other rookies and Genin now chuunins and jounins that were trained only under there sensei Aka: Gai, Asuma, Kurenai. Naruto and Crew should actaully realize how lucky they are o.o well excluding sasuke... it's bad luck for him to have met Orichimaru...

you cant just say that because naruto, sakura, and sasuke were trained by sanins they are stronger than those that trained under Gai, Kurenai, or Asuma.

didnt the sanin previously have trainees before leaving the village; the only one that became really strong was Yondaime.

Can you say with certainty that they are all stronger than Neji? Lee? Shikamaru? and the others.
i know all three are strong but training under the legendary sanin is a requisite to becoming stronger than the other rookie nine- is it?

i agree even with out kyuubi and curse seal i think that team would pwn any other group from their generation they could b4 being trained by the saanin and they will even more so

Actually I guess you're somewhat right. I was going under the impression of a fight to the death (in which case, naruto would have probably gone berserk before he could be finished off.) But if we're talking about just a regular fight, then yeah, even with kyuubi Lee (or neji) could have owned his team alone.

I think that was an OK chapter... Nothing to write home about. But I do hope we finally see Sasuke back in action I am hard at work making a kick ass sasuke sig that i will premier when we see him :) YAY SASUKE. alright enough of that. I think sai is really a good character for the naruto series, everyone in the manga has such passion and emotion and flair whereas sai has as much passion and emotion as a plank. He is interesting as we get to see how his character develops.

And now it is squarely on sai. i just hope all the predictions involving sais death dont come true. His character is pretty interesting- and that is no joke- really interesting. i hope kishi keeps him alive somehow :roll:

i think that sai is gonna fight oro to let naruto have an escape to find sasuke, but then sai get's really injured and naruto will think of sai and instead of searching for sasuke he will turn back to aid sai
