Chobits Anyone?

Does anyone like this series? I'm almost done and thinking back, I'm glad I watched this. Not that I like fan services and such, but I like the plot. Also, the comic reliefs and the songs go really well with the genre of the anime.

Chobits is a great anime, it has nice animation and a good story which turns out rather surprising at the end.
Shame that is was only 26 episodes long.

i watched Chobits for the first time when a friend bought the dvd's. we were sitting around in the dorms and the guy across the hall asked if i was an anime fan. i pointed to the wallscrolls i had hanging in my room and he invited me to watch Chobits with him because he just bought it and nobody else on our floor was ever sober or even liked anime. was hilarious, we stayed up watching all night and skipped classes the next day to finish the series.

Ha ha ha..yea, the cow was just off..so totally unlike any other anime.
But Hidaki and his constand asking if you could get to porn sites with a persocon was just too funny..that was the main reason he wanted one to begin with :lol:

OMFG i just astarted watching and im at episode 16... this show is a RIOT... I LOVE the constant joking. but is it me or is the majority of the humor based solely of sex jokes???

either way a genuine comedy, very much enjoying this one. And i think the animator has a thing for porn.... alwasy mentioning it with his chars.. poor poor hideki :( alwasy getting cought alwasy getting left behind as other d00ds get the chics leaving him alone ;/. And some of the things that CHi points out are just tooooo funny ie. *chi points* !!!!!! in that morning scene. :) you know what im talking about tooooooo funny lmao

OMFG chobits was entirely tooooo short :( i just finished it today and now im super pissed :(. lasted me only 2 days o well.... it was funny... very funny. I think the director has a thing for porn though :). So much sexual content... so many sex jokes but i loved it lol. like in the begining with the porn sites comment :) pure comdedy or when he is at the video store :) or even the "private lesson" lmao

does the manga continue from the anime?? or does ti end around the same area? i thought hte series was too short :(

I'm watching the anime myself so I can't answer that. But 26 episodes is usual. Many series end at 26 episodes or at least around there.

FLCL was only like 6 episodes I believe. Hellsing, now, is only 13. Hellsing was too good to only have 13 episodes.

Maybe it's just me, but as i got to the third episode it became less amusing to me because of all the perverted jokes etc. but since some of you say that the plot really good, it gave me more motivation to watch and actually finish the series.

Just finished the series. I'd say strong start and finish. Middle was kinda, well, sad with themes like Chii plays, Chii manages, etc.

LOL. Chobits intro song goes along very well with the anime. It sets the mood. And the outro song is just... excellent. It was beautifully done.

I finished the series last year using kazaa (26 episodes for those of you wondering).
Great anime art style is unique, it gives an air of carefreeness (if thats a word) the main character Motosuwa is basically an honste carefree guy that would help anyone.
If your looking for something Love HIna like then try chobits.
