What program do you guys use?

I've wanted to make a wallpaper for a really long time, but I have no idea what program to use!! I have Paintshop Pro 6 on my computer, but I have no idea how to produce the same results as everyone else does. Help me please?

Photoshop mostly for my little things, on a more profession level, or of a higher intrest I will use other programs in addition, illustrator, flash etc depending on what idea I have.

I am strictly photoshop cs, since I managed to develop a deep seated hatred for Paint Shop Pro...o_o I've been meaning to get Corel Draw 8, since I've heard it's pretty good. I should ask around...*cough*
but MS Paint? Good god that makes me cringe. I'm so used to the Photoshop keyboard shortcuts, that I keep finding myself pressing them in paint or even in oekaki boards. o_o

i also use corel10... it has great to make gif compare to abode... because it is very easying to make and understandable.
