No real need for a fight club...
Basically Sai and Sasuke made eye contact, and Sasuke used his Sharingan to hit him with a Genjutsu.
Anyway, this chapter is pretty cool. Sasuke's become badass. Though I really wonder how useful that info from Danzou is. I guess it'll allow him to take out any Konoha spies. But that's about it.

On Page 5 I think he uses a genjutsu on Sai which is why i think hes sweating and what not. I saw the raw but not a scanlation yet, all in all awsome stuff.
@Yondaime-Zero: When sasuke fully appears you'll know it because everyone will be like "OMFG SASUKES NEW LOOK IS TEH OWNZOORS" lol or something close to that.

Judging by the title of the next chapter though, I'm guessing it will mostly just be flashbacks (maybe of naruto thinking about sasuke when he was training with the j-man.)

It's not Orochimaru's fear technique. That one makes the target invision their own death. This one was a bit different.

well im sure a major problem with itachi is the fact that itachi didnt want to be controlled by him so theres no way that oro could get his hands on him but sasuke...even if he was stronger sasuke is still willing to become his container in order to be able to defeat itachi.
he dont want to be a comtainer nor is he willin sauske has something up his sleeve!

Yeah, I think people misundestood what Oro meant. I think he meant "sasuke is more likely to get pissed off and kill someone on the spot than me." At least that's how I saw it (I hope this dosn't turn into another "Oro said Itachi is stronger than him!" thing" :lol: )

Reading the Japanese for that line, it definitely meant just troublesome or annoyance, as in reference to his temper. Heheh, dont be bringing in that Oro vs Itachi deal.
Im kinda worried about those documents showing the profiles of all the Anbus. I mean, they put on masks and take temporary fake names for certain missions so the concealment of their identities must be pretty important.

Ya, overall a good chapter and it let off on a good re-arc. Its pretty cool to see a Gen from just a triple tomoe sharingan, guess sasuke had to do something with his sharingan since he didnt get mange. I wonder if Sai knew what was happening to himself during the gen and is now intimidated of vengeful to sasuke? Next chapter will be GREAT!

I'm wondering now what danzou was thinking. His plan must either have getting his @$$ handed to him by tsunade or he already departed konoha.
When they get back their going to tell tsunade that sai betrayed them, and since danzou sent him on the mission its now danzou in the spot light when they get back.

yeah!! i thought about that for some fleeting moment- that is why i was soo worried of Yamatos allegiance. if he was with Danzou he might distort the story that naruto and sakura present- but now i see that his (Yamatos) picture is in that bingo list- so his allegiance to danzou-if any- is very weak.
Now, i really dont know why Danzou did that- unless he has some sort of plan to mitigate him been sent to prison for treason he sure is gonna be in hell.

It would definately not go as straight forward as we think. I think that Kishimoto deliberately showed us that Yamato's profile was among those given to Oro for a reason. Before they get back to report it, something will definately get in the way which will lead to something bigger or to Danzou's escape.
This may be a bit hard to swallow but something tells me Danzou somehow links in with akatsuki.
EDIT: BTW who else feels that Sasuke's new outfit would be a mix between what he originally wore, and what Orochimaru use to wear when he was a kid?

They probably showed Yamato so that there'd be no doubt that he's completely loyal to Tsunade. It seems to me that these papers were given to show Orochimaru which ANBU is, and isn't his enemy. If they're on the papers it's ok to kill them, since they support Tsunade. But if they're not, then they're part of Root. And will be working for Danzou.
Remember, ANBU is a spy organization, revealing a spies identity is the worst thing you can do to them.
As for Sasuke's outfit. He might be wearing the typical sound outfit, like Kabuto and Oro. But he's probably found some way to put the Uchiha symbol on it.

To me it looks like Sasukes new outfit looks like his old one, but its just a small guess from the outline I saw,
the only differnce is that it seems he has a long sleaved shirt and long pants with the leg braces Anko uses but thats just me I can be WAY off when they truly SHOW sasuke with no shadow outline nonsense

yup!! seeing Yamatos photo clearly dispelled any notions i had on him been in favor of Danzou. as strong as he is i doubt if he was fully in Danzous camp Danzou will make Oro dispose him off. Even if he alternates b.n both camps, the choice of disposal by danzou clearly indicates his degree of loyalty to Tsunade.
Now what i am worried of- is who is going to come back alive? Sakura and Naruto- will- my only reason will be because they are main characters. but what about Yamato-taicho?

Well the upcoming fight is probably going to be...
Yamato, Sakura, and Base Naruto vs. Sai, Sasuke, and Kabuto. Orochimaru was fairly injured during his last fight, (as is Naruto, but he's got regeneration) so I don't think he'll be participating much.
Not to mention sakura did what she could as a med nin too!! I think that same fight will insue, but I still cant see Oro not being in this fight!

How they are gonna get out of this one without a casualty if they decide to actually engage Oro and his team in this hideout- i leave to kishimoto to decide!!!

Someone commented earlier that Sasuke-kun's face hasnt changed, well why would it? Extreme Make Over - Konoha Edition (i dont think so)
Anyways awesome chapter none-the-less. I also like the shift that Sasuke's fighting style has gone to, before it was just like, *activate sharingan* run around, chidori, hit, chidori dodge. Now that he has new Genjetsu abilities his fighting will hopefully begin to revolve around that, eg capturing foes in tight genjetsu's. Anyways, I think that Sasuke's clothes however they turn out will be Awesome... think about everyones new costumes/clothes have been nice, (except for Sai's dodgy mid-rift top).
On the whole, I think it would be very optimistic to hope that Team Yamato take on Oro + Sasuke-kun + Kabuto. In my opinion Kishimoto will want to draw the whole fight and conclusion for as long as possible, also i think we will only see this confrontation later maybe 2-3 chapters time, till then we might just get some flash backs and back story either about naruto's or Sasuke-kun's training or about Sai and his Paint by Numbers book.

why hate them- imagine having all the possible naruto chapters delivered to you in 1 week- imagine how sloppy- poorly done- it will be. the times in b.n are necessary. that is how it goes!!! One chapter a week- may not allow for much to happen ie if what u mean by something happening is confrontation and fighting.
there may be some flashbacks- but if there are there may be of sasuke and maybe naruto and sakura- but this wouldnt be that much (i hope)

You guys are not giving team 7 enough credit. Yamato is the 1st so he is broken. Sakura is the 5th with genjetsu. We really havn't seen all of the new Sakura yet. And what is there to say about Naruto. He could take them all on all by himself. Even without the foxs help I think he could take on everyone except Oro but Oro is a freak. Truthfully if Oro is not there when they fight [like if he goes for a walk or something] then I see Team Oro taking the casualties. Team 7 is serious now.

I don't think Tsunada was really doing her best fighting until Kabuto hurt Naruto while Naruto was doing his rasangan. Remember she said to shut up and she would kill him in a minute and he was all shakin up.

i think that they will be outmatched at first but seeing his two teammates getting pwned to death will make sasuke attempt to save them either that or they run into Oro first in the lair he dosent fight but he tells them that its pointless caus saske dosent wanna go back then he will bring him out *gasp and saske will just confirm what Oro was saying

This is a long shot but perhaps Oro will summon a strong ass character and just let s/he fight them while they run away. (Sasori, comes to mind... please don't get technical and talk about all the stuff with him being a puppet, it's just wishful thinking on my part.)
I really don't see a long fight between Team 7 and Oro's gang for a very long time, if anything it'll just probably be as long as the recent Naruto vs Oro fight. I'm more interested in the route Kishimoto will decide to take now, he can either choose the akatsuki route or the Danzou route or perhaps a mixture...only time will tell.

I'm betting this upcoming arc will focus on Danzou, Orochimaru, and Sasuke. Akatsuki has its own internal problems to deal with, since they've gotta find a replacement for Sasori.

Kabuto is as strong as Kakashi so I think that Sakura doesn't stand a chance....
Naruto is still battered...... but I think he is the wildcard.
Yamato is the only guy I think can at least take out Sai and then help Sakura with Kabuto.......

Well I don't think Naruto will fight Sasuke because him and Oro is leaving....
So it leaves Kabuto and Sai and maybe some sound ninjas.....
I dont think we will be seeing any other sound nin and if we did they will be killed instantly!

Dont make your guesses into certainties. i am well aware that preview titles of next chapters might be misleading- but we might see team Yamato meet sasuke- face to face.
if there is a fight it will be kabuto and sakura

A thing that would have been nice to see are flashbacks of Naruto's training with jiraiya.

Heres my personal opinion, the Bingo book will be used to weaken ANBU, which leaves Naruto and the others to defend Konoha. That would be cool.

What he means is that anbu protects the village as a special unit, and eliminating them would make it easier to get at naruto, but none of them protects him, and why would they do that for Oro, he wants nothing to do w/ naruto

I concur and know he wants naruto- And it is to kill him-
if that is what you mean. Because his desire to kill him is obvious- naruto will have some sort of connection and some magnitude of influence on sasuke always(but this is minor). What naruto poses is the danger of him been strong enough with kyuubi's powers growing in him- if he become very strong, Oros highly probable 2nd attack on Konoha will really hit a brick wall- especially if naruto uses kyuubi to fight. Also, with Kyuubi inside him- if he gets captured by Akatsuki it will pose a grave threat to Oros ambitions-
i don't think naruto would use kyuubi if orochimaru attacked konoha
tthen he would be destroying the village and hurt everyone there

evryone in this thread so far seem to think he does but i think u guys r wrong remember during the chuunin exam he added another seal to the one yondaime had already put there Oro only wanted to stop the flow of the demons chakra into naruto if he really wanted him dead he would have killed him right there and then
and through out the whole fight they just had its like he was taunting him to see how much power he could unleash we all know Oro and hes always extremely methodical and thought out if he wanted him dead there and then he could have done it wrather than tease him for like 2 arcs

maybe he was just playing around and after he fought with sasuke he realize that he wanted sasuke's strength and left them alone
then after he wanted to kill naruto cuz he was influencing sasuke and all that crap
He wanted him dead, he tried to do it during the sannin fight, and he would have done it here to except his body was very damaged and continuing the fight would have been too risky!

Orochimaru finds Naruto amusing, and he enjoys toying with him. But in that instance he was in his way. The same thing happened when Naruto tried to fight him in the Chuunin Exam. Though Naruto wasn't as big of a threat in that case.

why wont he? Hasnt he been using it to fight so many foes already- gaara, haku, Orochimaru, sasuke, etc- u want me to name more? He is not going to summon kyuubi- kyuubi is already in him. If a fight to save Konoha gets to the point where he cant fight with his own power- what will prevent him from using kyuubis power. and at that time, he probably would have more control over the 4th stage (and more stages ahead)
and who knows whether that jutsu is all-powerful? or Undefeatable? is there any jutsu like that- at all? we already know he was warned not to use it- why is that?

yeah!!! i dont think it is- although many have thought/considered it as a possibility- including myself. that is because if it is soo dangerous why did Yondai use it such that its effects became his nickname (it looks like he did it many times too)
it looks also like it is back to the old days- when we had to wait, at times till saturday, before a raw came on the net- i hope it is not so. and hopefully they have decided to go back to 19 pages.

Ya it would be really cool if Yondaime somehow taught Jiariya the flicker technique and Jiariya really did teach naruto it.
I dont like the waiting times either they seem to be always unexpected and it would almost be better to have it on a certain day every week so you would look forward to it every week. And i doo hope they go back to 19 pages also.
