Orochimaru=Sasuke=Kakashi?

Well think about it. The Main 3-man teams have been the Sannin, Team 7 and those who trained under the Yellow Flash of Konoha. Now, these teams have a basic setup:
1. A genius (kakashi, oro, sasuke)
2. A screwup(naruto, jiraiya, obito)
3. A med ninja(sakura, rin, tsunade)

Furthermore, they all have followed a very basic setup.. except Kakashi. I mean, Oro became evil. Sasuke followed Oro's footsteps, but what caused our favorite known-genius to not give in unto the path of darkness? While I'm sure more than one person would suggest Obito's death, let us not forget that Kakashi was a hardass from the beginning, showing no sign of dissent from Konoha. So what caused this? Tell me :D

Well neither Sauske or Oro disliked the village from the beggining. If i remeber correctly Oro is pissed at the village cause he wasn't chosen as hokage. Sauske has nothing on the village but will just do anything to kill his brother. But if you think about it Sauske wanting to kill his brother is revenge for a part of his village(his clans part) but his goals have become twisted and he's now more like his brother/oro. Kakashi could've become the same but he changed when Obito died becuase Obito taught him a bunch about whats right and wrong in his last moments.

I have thought about this for a while myself, b/c if you remember kakashi has stated that sauske is similar to him, and like you said sauske followed Oro's foot steps in his lust for power, so I thought Kakashi is similar to Oro, for that reason also!!

Well they are fairly similar...

Both Sasuke and Kakashi were forced to grow up on their own, for the most part.

Both lost their family at an early age, and both in ways that the entire village knew about.

Both were recognized as Geniuses at an early age.

Both had clear set goals from early on (Kakashi vowed to not make the mistakes his Father had, and Sasuke had his revenge).

Both have the sharingan. This is probably why Kakashi decided to train Sasuke. He was the only one who could help him master the sharingan.

Its kinda tough to make any call on Orochimaru though cause we don't know that much about him when he was growing up. But Im beggining to wonder if Konohamaru's team will have the simmilar stereotypes. If any of them were to become the Sauske type I think it would be Konohamaru.

I don't think so. Konohamaru isn't exactly a genius, and Udon isn't that much of a clown.

konohamaru also wants to be hokage. hmm!!! i hope his wishes dont become like OROS. Oros ambitions were just evil, quite evil that Sandai who woulda given him the hokageship, passed him over for yondai. No wonder he was so pissed off with the village. but i doubt konohamaru would ever be that. he has naruto to calm him down if he goes berserk.

and it is really true that Obitos death changed Kakashi. but lets be fair- his ambition not to be like his father, who was supposedly dead at that time, may not be as strong of a drive as Sasuke's revenge for Itachi- who was and is still alive. The fact is, probably if naruto hadnt become soo strong in his eyes he may not have gone straight to Oro soo soon. and i dont know, i dont think that even if naruto had died sasuke woulda changed his ambitions like kakashi did.

He wouldnt have! he would have just done something else, and it might have taken much longer but Im not so sure it wouldnt have happened cause he still wouldnt have gotten strong enough to take on Itachi!

I think Kakashi is still good because he still has people expecting great things from him, whereas Sasuke and Orochimaru are alone in the world.

i dont think that narutos death would have had as much an impact on sauske as obito did w/ kakahi! He still would have went to Oro
