that is how manga is-right?
Now here goes a bunch of questions worthy of discussion and prediction:
hochigo destroys ichigos bankai by just grabbing the sword and it breaking up into bits and pieces.
1) what does this mean for ichigo 2) How does this relate to old man zangetsu since it his sword-the black version 3) will ichigo have to gain a new source of strength- and if so from whom?

wpw h-ichigo took away his bankia and block tensuga with one hand.i have to say it doesn't look like ichigo is gonna win this one.but i think h-ichigo is trying to teach him like the old man by taking away his bankia.remember ichigo doesn't know how to use bankia yet neither does renji they both achieved it in 3 days but it really does take about 10 years to know how to use it.so ichigo and renji are kinda better of just using hier shkia form insatead of bankia.but i wonder what happens if ichigo loses

Well, I think hichigo is not trying to teach him anything. I think that he is trying to break his spirit. I remember from the begining about hollows that spirits who become hollows are either evil, which we know ichigo isn't, and spirits who have some lingering sorrow about something or another or basically just a broken down spirit. You know what I mean? Not sure how to say it. I think hichigo wants ichigo to give up or succum to his will. Call me crazy, but I don't think that hichigo can kill ichigo. btw yes I know ichigo is bleeding, but that doesn't matter.

first- i concur. he needs something else in this matchup. it is my believe that ichigo can only defeat hochigo if he finds something he hasnt used before or much of- for example an inner sort of strength. that is what will make this plausible. In the first place hochigo is his other self-part of him, and dwells inside him- so it is up to him to find something inside that will overcome this guy.

even though far back when this fight started i was one who started campaigning for kubo to do something new - like make Hochigo whoop ichigo senseless for a change. and possibly also make an alliance/union/merger b/n hochigo and ichigo. although i havent changed this wish/stance, Now i just hope ichigo can find something to make this match really worth it. otherwise he becomes a hollow/shinigami(some form of arancar- opposite of vizard) if he loses.
