it was more sakura worrying too much and naruto collapsing after finally feeling the effects of using kyuubi chakra and regeneration. like i said before in the 298 thread i dont think he was too weak that Yamato will request leaving him completely behind.

he was strong enough to move maybe not fight a ninja of the level of Oro again- but strong enough to move and even go to konoha on his own. Of course he didnt go- he rather went along.

that chapter was weak, and i waited a whole week for it, too. all we learned was that naruto is cut off from kyuubi, sai is a live, and sakura found a strange picture sai has. my guess is its having to do with sai's past, like showing who his brother was, and it might be someone they know/knew.

Assuming that Yamato from this point on is supressing Naruto's kyubbi chakra 24/7; I'm going to go out on a limb and predict Yamato (sometime in the near future) will die or come very close to death. He won't be able to suppress the kyubbi because of his condition/death, and Naruto will be put into a position where he needs to prove he doesn't need the kyuubi.

I think that Sai is still faithful to taking down Oro. This is my explanation:

Recall when Sai was dissin on Sask for leaving the village and rollin with Oro? It seemed like one of the few times he showed true emotion. Anyways, because of this I dont think that Sai could truly become a pawn of Oro.

The book/letter/pictures he left, Im guessing they are a message of some kind for team7.

And I think its wicked that Naruto has been cut off from Kyuubi. Although the last few fights have been super wicked, I think if I see Naruto go on lvl4 rampage again for his next fight, Ill probably chop off my fingers above the knuckles.

almost every fight is difficult for naruto which makes him uses kyuubi
and almost every ninja he fights is related to orochimaru or sasuke which makes him angry which turns on kyuubi mode

We didnt read the same manga if you think that naruto pawned Itachi, Naruto delt the final blow I will give you that but Naruto by himself got pawned he would have lost he couldnt get out of that genjutsu!

And he never even touched Diedra, he beat up a clone, tha only person he beat up was Oro, and he dont even remember doing it I like naruto just as much as the next guy but havent been impressed that much by him so far, Except the fight against kakashi for the bells, Ive been much more impressed by sakura

according to yamato on page 4, the kyuubi chakra is actually poisonous and on page 11 he tells naruto the reason why naruto can handle kyuubi chakra is cuz of naruto's natural chakra. the way i see it if the kyuubi chakra is poisonous then naruto's regenerative ability is NATURAL. also that stamina of his has to also be natural as well. i'm excited after reading this chapter. to me this proves that naruto is special without the kyuubi and that the manga would've still been successful without the kyuubi bit.

one thing- i hope i am not misreading your post!!!! this is sarcasm or a joke- otherwise it seems you are not giving much credit to the situations naruto has been in.

of course given that part of the problem is having kyuubi itself- but at his level of maturity as a ninja and the problems attached to having kyuubi there is a time and place when his normal ninja skills will come to play- when it is not that time, what do you expect him to depend on? it is a not a matter of him just been impatient, even if he was patient and a generously developed ninja like neji, he woulda been dead by now had he not relied on kyuubi in most of the instances he is encountered.

even though i agree that naruto hasnt been depicted to a genius like neji, sasuke, or Kakashi- what he is is what he is. As jiraiya said what is important is teaching naruto to use the power that lies within. and if that involves using kyuubi power- he will use it. if it involves other areas they will come when the time comes.
it is getting too tiring hearing naruto should be this should be that etc. i guess it is a fact- people will always complain. Kishimoto is not going to change a character just because it is the best for everybody. and he probably has already thought about making naruto like kakashi, smart, cool, and an ingenious nin. i guess also that most of the naysayers seem to know better than Kishimoto.

akatsuki has some form of statue in which it stores the souls/chakra of bijuu it extracts from jinchuuriki; like what happened to Gaara. .
well, if Oro really intends that then he must wait for a long time. His army may not be strong yet. the akatsuki are strong- real strong.

I think we have all been saying that alot lately, people have been all kinda reason why he using kyuubi, I havent agreed w/ any of it, for any reason I always felt that kyuubi should be a last resort, instead Naruto has been using it as soon as the fight starts like, b4 they even got to garra in that arc, then the Oro fight!!

hey guy ive got a theory and a rant so please read this:

I think that the fourth intentionally put nine tails in naruto because he knew that his super powered chakra could stand it(I see a bloodline limit being revealed). Think about it, the kyuubi is the most powerful thing in the whole naruto world, not just anyone could hold its power. Naruto owns. With or without the Kyuubi.

Those haters out there who say he is nothing without the kyuubi are wrong. Naruto probably learned most of Jiraiyas jutsu(training for 2.5 years) and maybe even some of the fourth's. He probably has the frog summoning thing down. he owns. It would be cool if naruto did learn some of yondaime's jutsu like that flicker flash jutsu he used in kakashi gaiden. Not likely but we can hope :D . Yamato will bring these things out of naruto. We will be in for a great fighting arc in the future.

p.s: i want to see naruto go kyuubi and get nine tails and just fck up everybody, especially orochimaru, Itachi, and Sai
That would be a two minute fight.

but i just want to be really honest- and realistic- can anyone really make a case that without kyuubi, naruto would last long in fighting somebody like Oro or Itachi? say a minute- would he last long to use kyuubi as a last resort? what if he dies before that last resort is given to him?

for me it is my believe that when it is time for him to fight with his own power- we shall really see what he is worth. When ORO attacked even Yamato was scared stiff! are we saying that naruto with his normal strength is better than yamato?

maybe now with yamato teaming with Naruto he will be more relaxed (just like when with kakashi) and be better able to show us his other growth as a ninja.

I do too cause all this talk about naruto not being all that strong, and would be nothin w/o kyuubi really gets on my nerves, it has to be something about naruto that makes him naruto, he doesnt have a clan like everyone else, to specialize in one area, he alot like lee, excpet w/ tha ability to use his chakra, I hope we found out the reason chose to put kyuubi in naruto, and that naruto has some kind of special ability that we didnt know about, thats completely him, and has nothing to do w/ kyuubi!!

Exactly. He wouldn't have been hated. Maybe he would have had support from people and that might have made his natural talent come out quicker. Remember he did manage to learn Kage Bunshin without Kyuubi. He also learned Rasengan without Kyuubi. He has talent, it just wasn't obvious during his academy years.

The fact is, the whole damn manga is about Naruto having Kyuubi in him. We shouldn't be saying, "Well if he didn't have it..."

I don't think Yondaime would be alive in spirit or otherwise. He most probably would have used a scrificial technique such as the one the Third used on Orochimaru. Or, it could have been something like what Anko used with Orochimaru during the Chuunin exam.

Also, it isn't all that hard to type "with" or "without." It's silly how people insist on taking short cuts with their typing. Typing a w/ breaks the readability of a sentence. As does w/o and b/n.

Yo lets face it, naruto's only been in 3 battles since then. Work with it, now it may have not been flashy, gut what you've gotta look at is, the over all preformance. He hasnt gotten the chance to show a true preformance.
Here's a fruity example.
I'll play DDR extreme 1 and preform the following songs:
-A(standard)
-Tsagaru(standard)
-B4U (standard)

I get AA ranks on all of them. But, they are easy, and not that complicanted at all. So at first glance we say "So what" theres nothing special, but the thing is, i can do soo much more.
Here's a real preformance from me:
The Legend of Max (Heavy) =rank A
Max 300 (Heavy)=rank A
Sakura (heavy)=rank A
Now, at first glance you didnt know i could do that, but given a second shot to display my abilities, i do, and its insane. Naruto is the same case, he preformed well, it was small, but it was well. He sure as hell didnt pull out anything near his full potential. So what people need to stop doing is just judgin him from the first 3 battles, i know he may be blinded when he's in tail form, but you cannot dissregard the fact that he'll pwn shitless. The results! Thats what counts. Acknowledge the 3 battles. They may not have been the best, but they are a sample, so don't judge so quickly. Don't go a mile with an inch.

Enough with the what if's. If it alreayd happened stop trying to change it people, though some truths are evident in what you guys say, it still cant change the Manga's story.
