Hiya..I wasn't sure were to post this, I couldn't find an open topic..so I thought I post the wallpaper I just made here and let the Mod's do some work if I'm in the wrong place ;)

Yea I know, I was hoping for the Html to work tho..I actually posted about it in the help forum.
That way would you have been able to see the 800 x 600 version and by clicking it you could have seen the 1024 x 768

Ah well...guess the smaller version has to be enough ;)

Never thought of that.
I was going to put them up in my web site eventually, but have lost all motivation lately.
Actually, ever since i went on an Naruto image hunt (was going to open a Naruto gallery) and stumbled across NarutoChaos, NarutoFan and all those other huge Naruto sites...I just thought: "*cry*..my page is soo crappy...give up!" :lol:

thompkinsbrian nope, I'm not drawing them myself.
The character images I'm using there are actually images I found of the Naruto Game and since they had such a good size, I thought they would be perfect for wallpapers.
I haven't done any fan art for a while, actually ever since my scanner gave up on me.

But, I may do some again soon.
As soon as I get some peace around here and I can find all my pencils again..darn those meddeling kids..always pinching my stuff from me :lol:

The handseal one is a really neat idea.
I would probably have picked another background, but I still like it.
I also like the Hinata wallpaper.
Again, I would have picked a differnt background, but as you said it's your first try and for that you have done very well.

I just posted some of my wallpapers to another forum and was told they totally sucked :lol:

I like the hand seals wallpaper the idea is nice and the way its set up like the Chinese Zodiac circle. and I like how half is Naruto and half is Sasuke. Nice work I think a lot of thought went into it.

V- thats ok I made that special bug brush for the camo on the shino wallpaper and only one person looked at it and said its ok. It all matters who it is and what their prefrences are.

I like the colors of your wallpaper and the bugs are a great idea..I have been debating myself what type of background I should use for Shino, but haven't had any good ideas yet.
Maybe if you made the bug brush a little smaller the effect would be better..what do you think?

yeah I probably should have used several different sizes for the bugs but Iiked how it looked like camoflauge, and it reminded me of the new Naruto T-shirt they were selling at this site http://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp/anime/naruto/goods/ but I can't seem to find them at the moment ><

As for that other place V I read a few of their thread and it seems that most of the people at that site are snobs and I dont have time for that kind of bs. I like it here where everyone is friendly.

*nods* I agree..I rather have some fun and a friendly admosphere then people which are full of themselfs, I can handle critic, but I also like it if they then give you tips on were you went wrong and what you could make better.
Otherwise will you never learn from your mistakes.

Now let's see...I haven't made any wallpapers today :shock: ...I was too absorbed with my anime marathon today...bad me.

Let's hope I get some more ideas tomorrow ;)

not really, i found them at narutofan, and though that maybe a background of 'em would be nice, planned on making one with the pictures in a circle 'cause it said they're from the zodiac, but kinda screwed it up, so i left it

the background just sort of happened, i wasn't really planning on making a naruto wallpaper, i was more or less learning all the options in photoshop, and found out that the images looked quite good on the background, and there it is :)

hmm.. looks like you did a gradient back ground with two colors... going left to right... pasted 3 pictures.. and the last one reducing the opacity to make it blend with the background :wink:

opacity - wrong, then the bottom picture would've been half blue, half green, i threw down the fill (kinda has the same effect, only it doesn't let the background shine through to much

Cool, looks great.
The gradiant fill works great in that wallpaper.
I use it a lot myself and then usually start playing about with other tools like kaleidoscope.
Then again, I haven't really used any of those effects for the Naruto wallpapers..apart from one were I simply used the gradiant fill :lol:

I think 3 of my favorite effects are drop shadow, light burst and glow.
It's fun to fiddle with differnt effects ;)

hey pico, not bad.
Though you need to try and smooth out the edges on the middle hinata.
Try the feather tool on the edges, maybe even burn or dodge the edges so they look smooth around the edges.

Any good pics of when Naruto's in uncontrolled kyuubi state (remember the different way of drawing when he did that against Haku, and then, very end of ep. 90 they used that kinda art at the end for a still frame for a sec. That makes a nice wallpaper ::has wallpaper of the latter, given by someone who captured the screencap::

A thought I had though, was something of an evil character with a psychotic and dark feeling to it, maybe Sasuke when cursed, Itachi, Orochimaru, Kabuto even. Anyone up to trying any of these?

And I do really like the Kakashi vs. Gai idea, never thought about that before... Maybe for a sig, one on one side, one on the other, kunais clashin in the middle... I'm done, I do the thinkin, I suck at the artistry, I think like one, but don't work like one...

Honestly, I thought the same thing when I saw it, but I think the right hand you see his pinky not his thumb. Do it yourself and look in the mirror, it is possible for your hands to look like that, though you're right, it does seem that he has 2 left hands or something...

Ok, my creative... average intelligence, not genius, blah, but whatever, anyway, I just thought of a great idea for a comedy type thing with Kakashi and Gai. If you can get pics with...

-Gai having his arm slightly extended with his hand flat
-Kakashi having his hand in a fist

...you can make a wallpaper with Gai beating Kakashi in Rock, Paper, Scissors (ya get it now?), and have that as the background, and in the front, Gai facing front with victory sign, and in the corner something saying their current record (Can't remember, I think it was 50 to 51, right?)
