Exactly my prediction. Sai is far too similar to kabuto to just be a double agent, i'm thinking he's a step beyond that. I think this is all a plot to infultrate oro, and gather some information.

The discussion thread has turned into one punch lines. Guys- dont you have any ideas at all to talk about- lets say something or predict away!!!!

For one thing, naruto completely forgot about his violence, power, attacks, in Kyuubi 4 tail mode. He forgot smacking sakura- which was thrilling but that leaves me wondering.

Sakuras sisterly affection for naruto is gonna get better after this. which means she will train to be stronger as a ninja as well as in her medic field. I remember the pain on her face seeing naruto yapping that he was in pain during his regenerating.

if naruto is gonna be able to at least get a sense of what he did and then decide even more to control this stage they have to tell him- especially sakura.

The only "butt-hurt" thats gonna happen is that night when Sai is aslesp and Oro isn't.

Anyway, I think everyone is just in denial about Sakura and Naruto.

I also think that there might be more to the story about Sai joining Oro. Remember, Sai was obsessed with the idea of a fake smile tricking everyone, and throughout severall points in the meeting with Oro, Sai was pulling out that smile. We all know that Sai is unable to make a smile thats meaningful. Im even gonna say that his smiling while making fun of Naruto weren't reflecting his feelings, but rather he was only testing Naruto's character out. Sai/Danzou might be up to something and Kishimoto is just leading us away. We all also know that Kishimoto loves to mislead his readers.

Well, it depends.

Danzou doesn't seem like the type of person who would try to destroy Konoha. So I think he's either.

1. Planning a coup d'état, so that he can become Hokage. And plans on using Orochimaru's help to accomplish this.

2. Plans on using Sai to spy on Orochimaru, and try to sabotage his plans.

Hmm, he might also be worried about Akatsuki claiming Naruto, and wants to get Orochimaru's help in attacking them. But I think that's less likely then the other options.

Well, I don't think Orochimaru would be stupid enough to try and launch another large scale invasion of Konoha. But he hates Tsunade, and would probably agree to assassinate her if provided proper incentive.

Orochimaru has a lot to offer Danzou, the question in my mind is. What will Danzou give in return? I don't think he's naive enough to think that Orochimaru would help him just because he hates Tsunade.

Maybe the Scroll of Sealing? An under the table alliance between Leaf and Sound? A promise to give Orochimaru aid in the future? I don't know. But I bet whatever he is offering, was spelled out in that letter Sai was carrying.

Yes, assuming that Kabuto/Orochimaru/Sai don't notice the Yamato clone spying on them.

Most likely one of them will see, and destroy the clone before it has the chance to report back to Danzou.

All Konoha ninja are very loyal to the village with the exception of Sasuke, and Orochimaru.

Although Danzou hate the Sandaime, he doesn't hate the village, at least not to the extend of betraying the whole village.

Maybe the letter is regarding something happened in the past between Danzou and Orochimaru.

i also expect some things. i know Danzou is loyal to konoha- so irrespective of what the letter handed to oro says either he is actually using Sai as a gift to Oro to help Oro achieve his coup on konoha with Danzou holding a big position since Oro wont give him the rulership or whatever Oro might suspect in the end sai might betray Oro and get to deliver relevant info about him to danzou and konoha(of course he might get killed in the process)


gee... i don't know about that guys... danzou doesn't like sandaime ran the village. in fact sandaime ran the village as the 1st and 2nd did. after all he was their student. danzou was a rival to the hokage titile back then... but i think the 1st and 2nd hokage saw something in danzou, as sandaime saw something in orochimaru, which lead sandaime to choose the yondaime we know over orochimaru... i guess something like that happened between sarutobi and danzou.

now, danzou is having contact with oro in secret.... now tell me who is the right mind would do that... that's conspiracy.... now if the letter contains something unfavorable for konoha, danzou is guilty of conspiracy to treason.

Well... Ninjas weren't quite farmers. Though that may have been their original job. The traditional ninja clan (though all members were probably not related) would act as assassins and spies for a Daiyamo, or other high official.

Certain legends say that Ninja were originally a group of farmers who refused to side with a certain noble. In order to defend from the Noble's soldiers, they taught all their men and women how to fight using common tools (since it was forbidden for anybody other then a soldier or samurai to carry weapons). In time this group became more skilled, and started hiring themselves out to others, branching off into many ninja clans.

Of course it's hard to get any real info on Ninjas, since they didn't leave many traces of their existence.

Flaming- whatever people may call it may not be the issue. It is more about disputing, supporting, or making a statement. we have 298 in about two days. i predict it is going to be a dull chapter. ie no fighting (i doubt yamato will try to stop sai from going- he is so afraid of Oro). i am interested to know whether Yamato is the same guy who handed Sai his mission letter. His next move should give us a lot of indication on his allegiance- i will like him to be with Team 7- he will be a great help especially if jiraiyas chakra suppression tags should not be used- like during fights with a great enemy-but it wont happen- will it?

Yeah, Konaha was the strongest, because, if you remember, they fought both the Sand and the Sound and lost a little over half of their military power against the TWO villages.


But after that, they weakened greatly. You don't make many new EXCELLENT ninjas in that 3 or 4 year period.

Well either way, no ones gonna mess with Konoha because Sands got their back. I dont think the mindset of the other villages have evolved enough to form lasting alliances with each other and none of them are strong enough to take both Konoha and Sand. I bet Konoha would be able to rebuild to become the single strongest again, but I dont think that only 3 years, after being devastated by 2 nations, is enough to rebuild to become the strongest again. In my opinion itd be Mist. They weren't involved in the attack and weve seen incredible ninja come from that place, like Zabuza, Haku, and Kisame. Stone is pretty good too imo from what weve seen in Kakashi Gaiden, and I think Deidara was originally from Stone too.

Well, Mist seems to have lots of powerful Ninjas, but from what we've seen, it's frequently the target of attacks from inside the country (IE Zabuza's attempt to kill the Mizukage, or Kimimaro's Clan attacking) not to mention the country itself is very unstable, as lots of Ninja clans seem to live in the country outside of the Village. I see it as being a lot like the country of Israel, having a very strong military, but lacking the ability to really deploy it, since it's forced to be on the defensive so often.

We know next to nothing about Cloud and Stone. But they seem to be fairly stable, so I'd imagine they're the strongest at the moment. Since Sand and Leaf are still recovering from their war with each other.

However, Sand and Leaf are very close now (thanks to Tsunade, and also Naruto and Gaara), so messing with one would lead to the other getting involved. I doubt any of Shinobi nations would be stupid enough to challenge two other nations at once.

Like it was stated we know next to nothing about them, and we've only seen 2 kages in the manga, we havent seen any of the other kages at all, I would rally like to know more about them and thier fighting stlyes etc....

And I do not think that the Leaf is as strong as even we think it is at this point. I mean before the time skip wouldn't taking back Sasuke be top priority? He is the last touchable Uchiha and on top of that he is hanging out with the guy who took out three quarters of your villiage and has a top-notch medical ninja. Put two and two together and you have a villiage who has the potential to genetically engineer a new Sharingon Clan. And as we all know the Sound have no problems screwing with people's bodies. We see Kabuto carving up people, Orochimaru doing his experiments, and the anime supports this heavily with the fillers. We know what Orochimaru really wants done with Sasuke's body right now, but that can't be said for certain. Konoha can't assume this is what will happen. And losing what was your second strongest clan to a villiage who was able to cripple your villiage is a calamity. Even though they used the Sand to do most of the damage it was still done by the Sound by infiltrating a powerful ally.

What else do we know about the fire nation? What else is there other then the Leaf? Is the Leaf the only outpost for the Fire's shinobi?
