interesting- interesting. But you know most of what we are supposed to have speculated is based on inference from reading/watching Bleach material. and that is one of the key things the post above made certain to indicate.

what is most interesting- which i have always believed happened- was that info that souls were born in soul society- now i am happy!!! i can smile- this is one of my hunches i didnt expect to come true- or is it?

I thought I would add this.

A few of these are common sense confirmations from the Bleach character book VIBEs which was published and released earlier this week, but I thought they'd be nice to share with the community (Original source, Bleach Notes blog):

Only a small amount of souls which house superior spirit powers and thus carries the capacity to be a Shinigami graduate from the masses of Rukongai.

Furthermore, of these graduating Shinigami, only a select few have the talent to join the Gotei 13.

All Shinigami find existance as a sort of aristocrat and are allowed to dwell inside of the Seireitei.

A soul which has passed a "fixed period" in Soul Society will eventually reincarnate back to the Living World.

If a soul is born within the Seireitei, it will automatically gain nobility in Soul Society.

There is a royalty class in Soul Society.

It's unclear what the King actually does, other than he has a specific system of "specialy duties" which are actively carried out. The duties apparently require a very high level of competency or skill of some sort.

In the Four Noble Houses, it is clear that the only ones revealed are the Kuchiki and Shihouin families.

There were Five Noble Houses at one time, but the Shiba family fell into ruin...

While the Gotei 13's main duty is to defend the Seireitei, they are also allocated districts (Rukongai?) to defend.

In addition to these duties, Shinigami also have to deal with the business of being assigned to the Living World.

Each Division is made up of just over 200 Shinigami, with the Gotei 13's standing force being just around 3000 total enlisted troops.

The Central 46 deals not only with the judicial system, but also with general administration and legislature.

no its run by a king apparently. think of the king/queen in britain and parliment thats how it works in soul society. and these facts are valid cause its come from the bleach fact book which was written by kubo.

Ah SO the King is jsut a Figure head with limited powers while the center 46 runs the show and The Shingami inforce tey law

no the king is in fact the strongest person in soul society. however its not known if soul society actually has a king at this point cause of aizens statement of "i will take my spot at the throne of heaven" and the book also says that yamato is probably not the king though the translation is sketch in this part. more than likely he is the figure head of the shinigamis simply the one that trains them. king of like the head general in an army.

another interesting fact is that theres another devision of shinigamis called the royal order or something like that. all of their levels are either on par with or above that of captains. it is suspected that isshin is part of this.

there were also five noble houses. shiba house was one but it fell. so currently there are four noble houses. we know one of them but i cant think of the name.

i'm sure urahhara knows about the ing of soul society but about the key and stuff i seriosuly doubt he knew anything about that.afterall matsumoto had to fill him in on the news.and what if the king of soul society isn't as strong as a captain but just really smart as hell that would be weird.

We know that there was mention of a king, and since discussion is on the low i found this cool extract from the bleach databook.

Note: Databook actually makes reference to a king that rules seireitei, same king Aizen wishes to overthrow...

actually that's a pretty good hypothesis (aside from "creating"; I don't think he could really "create" a person, aside from a mod soul). We never did find out what Urahara did with the hyugoku (it doesn't appear he used it on himself, and I'm guessing he had a "test subject" or maybe it could explain all the Vaizards wandering around the human world) before he placed it into Rukia's gigai. However, I feel this is still highly unlikely as I get the impression that the King has been in reign longer than Urahara's existence (well, before he came to SS anyway).

But I don't think anyone in Soul Society has ever seen the king as he's in another dimension, and very few have been trusted with the knowledge of the king's key's location.

Well after reading the links on the first page... it said that after spending a certain time in SS the souls are reincarnated.. does that mean the King is reincarnated and replaced ?? OR IS THE KING NOT A SOUL AT ALL ?!?! Maybe the King is a metaphor or an object that controls SS ?? blah
