i remember reading a few weeks ago a old chapter (i think it was 170 or 172?) the one where Shikamaru was walking with his dad to the ninja reg and he met up with naruto on the way. His dad told him "even the roughest women is tender to the man she loves" after reading that made be believe that the author is hinting about Temari and her relationship with Shikamaru and after reading this its gotta happen. :D

my guess is there will be a time skip after this arc (a year) and we see them together....not really explaining or showing who asked who out. :wink:

It seems that Temari is somewhat like Shikamaru's mom who seems to boss his dad around. I mean just about everyone thinks so(that posted) and whatever the Naruto Fans like Kishimoto Masashi will try to keep up the series that we (most of us here) made us love Naruto, though I rather dislike the main character having super powers which mean he is pretty much invunerable to almost everyone and that makes it seem like nothing can hurt Naruto, but people around him will get hurts, its like a reoccuring theme in Naruto (someone else is in danger)

okay guys just a little hint, when you make a story would you rather do it about someone who will live long or someone that will die in the first episode. it's only logical that naruto wont die any moment soon, and naruto has been in many near death situations, so he is not immortal, but because he is special that he doesnt die, he is the main caracter, the one person that the story follows, and everyone else that dont seem to die, like sasuke, kakashi, and that darn sakura, i dont see you guys nagging about that, hey they are still alive HOW the heck can that be posible, well its simple ITS THE WHAT THE STORY IS ABOUT

This is mainly because everyone underestimates Naruto. They see him as a fool who wants to keep up with Sasuke. They all see Sasuke as the important one so it is only Natural that Naruto is not in danger much. And the thing that keeps Naruto alive I think is his will power. He wants to be the hokage soo bad that he will never give up in battle. Read my signature. Jiraiya said this in reference to Naruto. I predict Kakashi dieing sometime in the series. He doesn't seem like a permanent character. I also think Jiraiya will die. These are all prediections though.

i agree for the most part with you on the underestimating of naruto, also that the thing that keeps naruto alive through everything that probably would have killed most people is his will power and his nerve, how he will just not simply give up, but how did this thread all of the sudden get on naruto. i think shikarmru will definetly end up with temari, they seem so alike but at the same time opposites. they have gotta get together.

Shikamaru is probably my second favorite character in this series/manga. His pure lazyness, combined with the fact that he is a tactical genius is hilarious. He's smart so hes just lazy becuase everything is boring. Him and temari fit together, and I think whoever said it was right. This has been destined to happen ever since he beat her, then quit in the exam tourney. Shes a pretty tough ninja, I doubt she gets beat often. ;p
