it looks like it. i mean it seems like kyuubi was welcoming naruto somehow with open arms. Like saying to him: come to me- son- come let me make you look like a copy of me- but a smaller me.

and naruto uses his desire to save sasuke as a catalyst to transform into 4-tail miniature kyuubi.

Rampage time!!! i really liked the look on Orochimarus face. He was excited. i dont think naruto frightens him one bit.

A panel by panel synopsis of the fights that occured this week! This time we've got more of that crazy fox Kyuubi and his little puppet Naruto, what kind of moves is he gonna pull? See it all below!

(1) Orochimaru looks down at Naruto, surprised.
(2) Naruto begins to form a Fourth Tail
(3) The tail continues to bubble with chakra
(4) Chakra begins to bubble all around Naruto's body
(5) The bubbles swarm over Naruto
(6) Naruto stands still, letting the chakra pour over his feet

Naruto: Wait...

(7) The chakra rises to his legs
(8) It reaches his chest

Naruto: Wait for me...

(9) The chakra reaches his head, covering his entire body.
(10) Naruto sees an image of Sasuke in front of him and swims towards it.

Naruto: SASUKE!!!

(11) The Kyuubi looms in front of Naruto, behind his seal.
(12) Naruto gets a blank expression on his face.
(13) Naruto swims through the seal
(14) The Kyuubi puts its claws around Naruto
(15) It slams its claws together around Naruto, creating an explosion of chakra.
(16) The explosion begins to fade away
(17) Naruto opens his eyes, they are the eyes of the Kyuubi.
(18) Naruto's skin begins to burn off his body
(19) His skin continues to burn
(20) The skin burns completely off his arms, revealing claws
(21) Blood suddenly spurts from Naruto shoulders
(22-24) His blood mixes with the chakra surrounding him.
(25) Orochimaru looks at Naruto, who is completely encased in a barrier formed of blood and chakra.

Orochimaru: This feeling... it's different from before...

Meanwhile, Yamato manages to rouse Sakura

Yamato: Hold on Sakura!

Sakura: Hmmm?

Yamato: Are you alright?

Sakura: Ouch...

Yamato: ! Hey!!!

Sakura: Sorry, I'm alright now...

(26) Suddenly Sakura notices a disturbance.
(27) Sakura and Yamato turn to look at the forest, as a small plume of Kyuubi chakra rises into the sky.
(28-29) Yamato makes a hand seal

Yamato: Moku Bunshin no Jutsu! (Wood Clone Technique)

(30) Wood shoots out of Yamato's shoulder
(31) It forms into a clone of himself
(32) The clone rushes across the bridge
(33) Makes a handseal
(34) And jumps onto a branch
(35) Yamato's clone uses the branch to get to the other side of the bridge

Sakura: This is...

Yamato: It's Naruto...

Sakura: And Naruto is!?

Yamato: On the other side... with Orochimaru...

(30) Meanwhile, Kabuto heals his injuries using medical jutsu.

Kabuto: Phew... The power of a Jinchuuriki, it's no surprise those guys want it.

(31) Above the battlefield Sai flies on his bird.

Sai: Naruto's the one to worry about...

(32) Sai flies down over Naruto
(33) Yamato continues riding his piece of wood.
(34) He leaps off
(35) And lands on the other side
(36) He senses something
(37) Naruto roars, his skin entirely covered in chakra and blood.
(38) A large blast of chakra rises into the sky
(39) There is an explosion, and a shockwave pushes the trees around Naruto away
(40) Before disintegrating them altogether
(41) Yamato frantically makes handseals as the shockwave rushes towards him

Yamato: Mokuton Mokujouheki! (Wood Technique: Wood Locking Wall)

(42) A wood barrier surrounds Yamato just as the shockwave hits him
(43) Sai puts his hands up in front of his face
(44) His bird is ripped apart from underneath him
(45) The area around Naruto is now a giant crater
(46) Orochimaru stares at the center of the crater
(47) He's been knocked off his feet.

Orochimaru: How interesting, this child is really...

(48) Sai lands neatly on a nearby branch
(49) Yamato stands silently behind his barrier
(50) He leaps into the forest
(51) Yamato rushes through the forest towards Naruto
(52) He suddenly stops, his eyes widening
(53) In the center of the crater stands a fox-shaped creature with four tails... and a human face. Four-tailed Naruto
(54) Yamato stares at it

Yamato: Shit...

(55) Naruto begins to growl

Synopsis:
Naruto gives himself over to the Kyuubi chakra and forms the Fourth Tail. In doing so the Kyuubi takes over his body and forms a body around him formed with chakra and Naruto's own blood. Yamato manages to wake up Sakura, but when he senses Naruto's chakra rushes into the forest.

However, he's too late, Naruto has already reached the fourth tail. With Sai, Orochimaru, and Yamato looking on, Four-Tailed Naruto begins to growl. Meanwhile Sakura and Kabuto begin to recover themselves from the damage inflicted by Three-Tailed Naruto.

Questions and Spec:
Did Yamato send his clone after Naruto, or his real self? I think it's the clone.
Naruto can no longer tell the difference between friends and foes, so Sai, Yamato, and Orochimaru could all become targets.
With Kabuto and Sakura recovered, what will they do? They're not as close to Naruto, so they're a bit safer.

they really may. but dont forget that yamato is with sakura. i am sure it was his clone that went to Narutos side. Even if it is not- one of the Yamatos (either his clone or himself) will be with sakura to engage kabuto if he decides to fight or interfere with what is going on.

i am really now frightened for Naruto- kyuubi grabs some of narutos blood to form 4-tailed kyuubified naruto. damn!! i hope something makes a jutsu or something to overcome this continously happening.

I doubt thats gonna happen... Since I don't think there is anyone there who can defeat Naruto, based upon strength alone, and Sai said something about his mission last chapter, and we have yet to see what that is. Also, don't you think Naruto looks kinda pimp in his 4th tail Kyuubi form? lol

but at the same time i am also afraid for him. i think it is best to wish that he becomes stronger before giving in to such transformations because if he loses his mind and goes on a rampage he will defeat everyone- including his own people as well. and of course the regeneration of such massive parts of his body will shorten his life faster.

Like how I was wishing that we'd get to see Gai/Kurenai/Asuma VS. Itachi/Kisame, that could have been an awesome fight but they just ended it!

I think it'd be really repetetive if tsunade and jiraiya showed up...Come up, if they come itd end up like the battle they had before except Naruto will be one of the main forces in the battle as well. I'm actually hoping for the four way battle but I dont think thats gonna happen since it's Yamato's job to watch over Naruto and make sure he doesnt go four tail, which he already has. So he'll probably try to calm him down, atleast thats what I'm guessing.

I'm guessing that the battle is about to split... it'll probably be Kabuto Vs. Sakura/Yamato and then a big free-for-all in the forest. Since Sai is fighting for himself, Orochimaru is fighting for himself, Naruto is fighting everybody, and Yamato Clone is stuck in the middle.

I don't know, if Naruto is constantly covered with his own blood, no doubt there is a limit to how long this mode can be sustained before he has to quit out of it and let his body recover... after all, if he was like that all day, he'd be as good as dead.

i was just wondering how will naruto redeem himself. let us remember that naruto doesnt want to be identified as a monster, he is just like them a normal person only that he has something frightfull inside of him. but from the looks of it, it seems like the villagers are indeed right to be afraid of him...

Haven't posted here in a long time.... anyways this chapter is one of those chapters you think is good but haven't got much to talk about.

I see this ending two ways, either Naruto's lack of consiousness gets the best of him, and Akatsuki takes the opportunity to knock him out and take him away. (Tobi ends up being Sai!!! lol)

Or

Kyuubi/Naruto knocks out Yamato's clone- then Yamato is like oh crap I got to go by myself, then kabuto's like not so fast, yaddy yaddy and sakura takes over for him. Yamato's heading for naruto and Sai stops him saying sorry I have to make sure Naruto dies and stuff like he should do, and say the third should have killed him and avenge his master who competed for the title of the third, then we are told he has no emotions because his brother was full of emotion and expressed how much he hates kyuubi in public and got him arrested or something. Then Naruto's killing oro, sasuke comes and stop and naruto gets a hold of himself for one second, starts to deform back to his usual self, and Sasuke's like as long as my brothers alive i'll be like that. He wakes up in konoha hospital and another akatsuki mission.

Those are long theories but that is what i like to see happen! As for Naruto's development since the 3 years jump i haven't been impressed, it seems like all he learned was better thaijutsu and this technique, and a slightly better rasengan. I would expect more ninjutsu's or maybe a new trade mark ninjutsu rather than kage bunshin all the time. Oh well, until next time.

that can be considered good also. because it will make him train himself to become a better ninja- like Jiraiya is or like Yondaime was. if he becomes strong like that and is able to develop seals for himself later he might be able to devise a jutsu to help in these dangerous kyuubi mode transformations.
as at now- i dont think whatever growth he has mastered is enough to face ORO 1 on 1 without Kyuubi's power. kyuubi gives him some advantages now- in the first place without kyuubi's help he could have been dead a long time ago.

But at where he is now- ie looking at his level of maturity and experience- this "boring plain chakra" attacks or development is his best against a jutsu master like Oro. In the first place we know the chakra is an extension of Kyuubi- it has a life of its own. He is fighting with kyuubi giving him a helping hand- attack and defense. i think despite what we might want Naruto to be able to do in terms of jutsus or whatever that would make him a stronger ninja, with Oro- a sanin- his best chance is what lies in the kyuubi's power.

kagebunshin isnt wasted. sandaimes old age just made it that he wasted chakra himself, and it normally wouldnt be worth it but he had to use it in combo with a death god. and oro used that shed jutsu where he came outta his own mouth. but still i mean isnted of just raw chakra naruto could convert it into like a huge bigass fire or something or do something a bit more interesting

Because Jiraiya nearly got killed when Naruto was at four tails and I'd expect Jiraiya and Oro to be around the same level. I can see that jiraiya could've have been going easy on Naruto, but still you'd think Naruto would now be around half of the Kyuubi's full strength, I don't really see him dying or getting the pulp beaten out of him now he's in the state he's in.

The best thing about this upcoming fight is that both naruto and oro are offensive fighters. i hope we'll finally see some new jitsus.

Yamato left sakura without telling anything. What is she gonna do now ? Making a clone to stay with her means like "i must go, you stay here". I guess Kishi wont bore us with a kabuto VS sakura fight while kyuubi rox. We will see only naruto,yamato, oro and may be sai in action. The sakura vs kabuto fight will be skipped just like ukitake & Shunsue VS 13.squad captan or zaraki VS komamura in bleach.

jirayai was at disadvantage when he got nearly killed by kyuubi naruto; since he had to stay around and try to make him get back to normal, as well as preventing him from destroying all that was around (although I guess he didn't train naruto in the center of a big city :wink: ) plus he didn't want to harm naruto. As deidara said, it's way more difficult to capture (control) someone than killing him. Orochimaru won't probably bother with protecting the surrounding and not harming naruto imho :wink: Plus if the fight starts getting hard to deal with, he'll flee unlike jirayai.
Then I'm not quite sure nobody/nothing can hurt naruto in his current state. Although he became a ridiculously powerful destroying machine, he's lost any form of insight and therefore shouldn't be hard to fool, I mean, orochimaru just has to send a clone flee as fast as he can and hide himself to send naruto fool around somewhere else :wink:

Thats what i think is going, you people underestimate naruto's 4th tail form, none of you have actually seen it in action, so how can you judge it? i think its strong. Maybe Marginally Stronger than Oro. anyways for the person who said that oro wasnt shocked or scared or whatever, he wouldnt show it if he was, i cant imagine oro saying something along the lines of "oh your stronger than me omfg i am gonna die!" he would just keep it to himself and try to battle it out.

yea naruto and shunshin was assumed a long long long time ago. however we dont even know if jiraiya knows that jutsu(hopefully yes).

and as i can see it, oro is most likely stronger than 4tail naruto from what we can see with jiraiya evidence. however, maybe with jiraiya naruto wasnt provoked as much as he was this time, so maybe hes in an even stronger bersrking rage than he was with jiraiya

yeaH!!!! come to think of it that is really true. anger makes him get closer in mind and body to kyuubis nature and behavior. as such they could have a better synchronized merger. and then kyuubis chakra can flow through him more forcefully and powerfully

I wonder if Sasuke gonna be in the next chapter, coz it'd be cool if he came to defend Oro and Naruto and him a little mini battle.

I hope he will... maybe the chapter cover is a telling of things to come (I know, most covers have almost nothing to do with the chapters or plot).

Chapter was cool and all. But is it just me, or does it seem that ever since the time leap, Naruto has done no real fighting. He just go into Kyubbi mode. Its as if the Manga is now just ripping pages straight from Naruto fanfics. Ugh, I was hopeing for some stragetic fights, not just 'Me go kyubi, u go dead."and also the problem with that is how can sasuke realistically keep up?

sure he got a special seal and all, but it was even match against one-tailed kyuubi. now oros saying a three tails will have to do better to beat sasuke? it just seems now that the skill took a back seat for the rest of the series, or maybe until a limiter gets placed on naruto like cr said.

remember how oro wanted a body, the strongest body. he didnt even care about naruto or gaara. he just used them as pawns. he even forced sasake vs gaara, sasake beat gaara fair and square, gaara even did his ultimate jitsu at the time and lost. in terms of raw physical streight, sasaske probably isnt strong as tsunade, or has raw explosive chakkra like a bijuu, but a ninja is more then that. because sasake is a genius, he will be the type to be as strong or stronger then the 1st and 2nd hokages
kishimoto most likely intended naruto + sasake to be rivals from begining to the end of the series, so it should be given that sasakes power lvl will be made to be higher then the proganist

Naruto beat Gaara only becouse Gaara was asleep. Naruto just woke Gaara. He woldn't be able to beat Gaara if Gaara would use his normal attacks and his ultimate defense 'coz Naruto didn't have a Rasengan at that point.

wtf? did u watch the ep dude? naruto fought shukakufied gaara for like 2 straight eps and he beat him with ninja chronicles. then gaara went shukaku mode where he turns into shukaku and then fell asleep and let shukaku take over.

if gaara wasnt asleep, gamabunta had a chance of beating the final from gaara. since gaara unleashed shukaku, narutos only choice was to punch him awake.

well, i will say this. i agree that the fact that he hasnt shown any jutsus is kinda uninteresting and he needs to improve in that direction.

but the fact that it is not tactful i disagree.

who can argue convincingly that at whatever maturity naruto is at at the moment he can have any kind of jutsus to hang on or go toe to toe in a fight against Orochimaru of all people. dont forget Oro is a jutsu master.

Yes, it will be awesome nice if some jutsus can be used at 1st-3rd-tail Kyuubi mode- but would they be enough? Orochimaru is not one to stand still- he will kill naruto the instant he finds an opening comes, like when he is making seals and stuff. as at now the best chance naruto has to survive this encounter is to go into 4th mode.

Uhhh, no. Im sorry, I really dont want to turn this into a flame thread so Ill do my best to hold back. Youre clearly ignoring evidence thats thrown into your face. If Gaara coulda transformed, then they woulda continued the mission as planned, because thats all Gaara had to do. Secondly, Kankurou and Temari were the ones like "wtf??" because Sasuke broke the shell BEFORE Gaara properly transformed. You know what stopped Sasuke pulling out a second Chidori to finish Gaara off? It was Temari, Kankurou, and Baki, not Gaara turning into his demon.

I dont understand why you refuse to agree. It was an all out fight, Gaara even trying to transform when he wasn't supposed to, and Sasuke got the best of Gaara. The only thing stopping him, again, was outside interference. If they were fighting to the death, Sasuke coulda just pulled out a Katon or another Chidori in Gaaras face and finished it then and there.


Oh and to KageNaruto, the pictures there dont show it, but if you watched the anime OR read the manga, you should remember that Kankurou and Temari had to carry Gaara while running from Sasuke, meaning he passed out.

Lee i have to say i was waiting for your post i agree totally, i mean i was hoping to see naruto become a better fighter, learn more jutsus, and become stronger mentally but all we've been seeing is 1 tail, 2 tail, 3 tail, now 4 tail i mean it gets kinga boring and repettive after awhile he may beat sasuke in raw power but i still think hes nowhere close to beating sasuke when it comes to actual fighting ability and mental ability meeh >.> basically enough of the kyuubi... if he stays going in kyuubi mode i might not be as excited over this manga anymore...
