Continually Rip someone's work after being warned and suspended.

If you're looking for a place to have random conversations, or spam visit the FORGET ME NOT section or Get an Instant Messaging Program. All other sections are off limits except the few section-specific spam zones.

By this I mean: If you and anyone else reply back and forth to each other for more than 3-4 posts, please cease and stop. Allow others to post too. This is a pub for everyone, not "___ & ___'s chat room".

CURSING
Except the FORGET ME NOT section, due to the general age group that the posters of NC forums are in early to late teens (13 - 17yrs old), limit your cursing and exploitation of explicit messages, images, and urls. If in the event you must curse to express emotion, use censors like an asterisk. ('*')
SPAMMING
Except the FORGET ME NOT section and the section specific spam zones Do not severely SPAM. Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages. If you really feel the need to spam keep them in the designated areas. (i.e.: Spam Zone Threads)
What is spam? There are different kinds of spam... tolerable ones and intolerable ones.[list=I]
Tolerable spam is when a member is replying to the immediate post above them in a humorous or sarcastic way that may be off-topic for that thread. Tolerable spam is not an offense nor will it be deleted, but keep in mind that many posts such as these would eventually make the thread go off-topic and then the thread would be locked anyway.
Intolerable spam is posts with one word such as "lol" or "ha-ha." Posts that are just completely random and does not connect with the previous post or the general thread in ANY WAY is also intolerable spam. When you come in here and start sprouting nonsense and clog up the forum, expect due punishment.
FLAMING
Except the FORGET ME NOT section, If or when debating, do your best not to FLAME. Flaming will not be tolerated! Hate/Discriminatory/Flame posters will be warned once before suspension of posting privileges for a week.
There's a fine line between arguing and flaming. How do you become a Hate/Discriminatory/Flame poster? When somebody else pm's a mod and reports the member, then the situation will be looked into. Mods are not police officers. They don't stay on the computer all day long and look for flamers, especially not on the NC Forums because we're known for common respect around here. However, there are many Mods and most of them are on frequently reading the forums. So if it's really obvious that a member is flaming somebody else or making racists comments/hate comments, he/she will be warned and thus dealt with.
Use the SEARCH button
Before making a new topic about some idea you came up with, make sure there isn't a similar topic already and that it's not a completely useless topic. If you have problems when searching, use limited wording.
What is a useless topic? When its a question with one definite answer, like, "What is Sasuke's clan name?" Questions like that don't need discussion, and therefore they don't need their own thread. Any topic that is NOT WORTHY OF DISCUSSION is considered useless. The reasoning behind this rule is because NC forums have existed for over a few years, and so there are already all kinds of topics. Double topics are deleted on sight and useless topics are locked with a note about why it's useless. Posters who make a bit of posting new, useless, or double topics, they will be given a warning. If the topic-making persists after that, they will be suspended from posting, and then eventual ban.

Anime/Manga Sections
STARTING THREADs
Always post a new thread with proper info and/or url's if given. Example, a new Naruto episode was released. Provide the URL (http://yhbt.mine.nu/t/) of where it can be downloaded so you do not look like you are spouting out nonsense >_>.
SPOILING
What constitutes a spoiler? Any info on an unreleased anime episode or manga chapter is a spoiler. Since by virtue of its nature the manga is always up to date, spoiling n the manga sections can only be done in the prediction/spoiler discussion threads. Keep spoilers only in these threads and learn to use spoiler tags.
For anime-manga combos like Naruto and Bleach, usually the manga is way ahead of the anime. As such, for the sake of anime-only viewers of these series', Do not reveal minor or major details that have happened in the manga that HAS YET to be shown in the anime; info that may or will support an argument you are making. Speculations are great, esp for arguments, but keep it at that. Be considerate, on their behalf and refrain from spoiling anime-only viewers.

Do not post future Episode/Manga releases when they havent being released in Japan or for the general public. Release threads are for discussions or predictions. For example, Naruto Manga 346 just came out on RAW. Do not start a Naruto Manga 347 and up Discssion thread. No one has read 347 and up, except maybe the mangaka, so there basically is no need for them in the first place. Thats why there are prediction/spoiler threads. Note that Prediction Threads are only started by moderators in certain sections (Naruto/Bleach/One Piece Manga].

Most Important in these sections is that as much you may want to have fun learn to use SPOILER TAGs. They were absolutely created for these sections to prevent spoiling and also handle large images. GFX Sections:
Absolutely DO NOT rip/steal someone's work! What is ripping/stealing? When you post an image/fanart/sig/avaters made by someone else and call it your own. If you are caught ripping, you will be BANNED for a number of given days.
People post their work for comments from you as a viewer. Be considerate and do not just flat out say, "Your sig sucks." It's rude. Instead, give brief details as to what needs work. Remember, CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM!
Comment wisely. Saying things like "I don't like it" is not going to help someone improve. Instead that may just be shattering their dreams as a sig freaker. It's always good to be honest but there is no need to be a jerk.

Do not use HUGELY oversized avatars. If your avatar is annoyingly huge, Mods will take the time to REMOVE it.
