Atomic Comics Floor Supervisor/Sales Associate/Webmaster/Back-Up Receiving Manger

- Floor Supervisor duties

Help the Manager & Asst. Manager in whatever they need done.

Run the store in the abscence of Manager or Asst. Manager (Usually, I'm 2nd In Command since it's not often both Managers work at the same time)

I deal with those shitty customers that like to bitch, I handle returns and dealing out store credit, I ring up fellow employees, and generally act as a Manager minus the Store Keys, Alarm Codes, and Title.

- Sales Associate Duties

Sell the living crap out of Comics, Manga, Anime, Import DVDs, RPG Games, CCGs, Toys, etc. I sell good stuff.

- Webmaster Duties

Run & Maintain the company site. I'm currently in the process of rebuilding the site and making it look nicer and run smoother.

- Back Up Receiving Manager Duties

I act as the receiving manager in the abscence of the Receiving Manager himself.

I check in, receive, and do various other boring tasks for the entire company (4 stores) and make sure the items get sent out to the correct stores and in a timely fashion.

Only thing more difficult than enduring the tedium that is answering directory calls is trying to study on the side ^_^

^^^ That'll be my description in a few months, once the school year begins for me.

Im a Janitor. I hate people. I hate the fact that they dont know the difference between a recycling bin and a trash bin.

I might end up killing everyone in the building over spilled popcorn.

My jobs sweet. I mostly drive quads, skid steers (bobcat), trucks, and tractors, or clean out chicken barns and pick up dead chickens. The rest of the stuff is just whatever needs to be done like building fences and stuff.

Still in school too, but I'm still making like $600/month :)

I got the job answering directory calls... *sigh*
It pays either $14 or $17 an hour (can't remember), with pay bonuses for efficiency, but... It's mind numbingly tedious.

I'll either switch to part-time once my study commences, or quit completely and go on Centrelink payments =)

Wow...$30 an hour. Puts my $8.50 and like 20 hours/week to shame lol. Wanna trade paycheques? :P

Lol...on saturday I had to use the grinder to grind off 15 years of rust from some pipes. After awhile my hand slipped (cause the grinders like 25 pounds, so holding it and moving it around for 10 hours gets kinda tiring) so the grinder landed on my knee while it was still going. Now I have a big cut like a cm deep in my knee :/

Thats still a lot. The most I can expect to get on a part time job (that I'm still looking for, btw) is probably around $10-$15/hour and compare that to Kuchiki's $30, I'd more than be happy with it. ^_^

difference between you and kuchiki is probably around 10 years :p So there is the difference, kuchiki has a education and a degree, he has specialized himself in a proffesion and his now making money with it. That pays more then just a "after-school-time-job" :)

anyway I think you meant that french ppl most of the time speak nothing but french and that's sadly true, we are the european country where foreign languages are the less mastered by it population...

yeah its what i meant. Ive been there plenty of times. And ive studied french for 2 years, but its not nearly enough to get around by. And when you try it in english they look at you if you are a moron. Or they will simply ignore you.

Same goes for the germans BTW, they will only speak german. Unless its in their advantage then they will speak english... well they will try to speak english.

it's not like the Dutch can speak French too :P

We, Belgians have to learn all those languages, due to Belgium being a small sh*t country
