I posted a thread before regarding summoning moves but did get much of a reply. I just find it sorta confusing.. If Naruto can summon Gama Bunta why can't he ever summon a medium (more combat friendly) sized frog??? Also where the %$%^ are the frogs, snakes, dogs , slugs living when they're not summoned?? Also how many different types of creatures and animals do you all think can be summoned? Imagine like a giant hamster (lol) or something cooler like hawks, dragons, hornets etc.... any thoughts please?/

Well, hmm, it is kinda complicated, I was wondering where they lived myself. I think they live in fairy land.....oooor maybe just a different plane that can only be accessed by special summoning jutsus...
About Naruto summoning a combat friendly frog...Naruto can either summon a really tiny pathetic frog (his chakura) or Gama (Demon fox's chakura) so it's one extreme or the other...I mean c'mon, who wants BALANCED animal to summon :lol:

I bet there're tons of things you can summon, I mean, you can summon dead people right? The possibilities are endless, the only next thing is figuring out how to get a certain animal from the "summoning plane" (if you believe in my theory)
