Just a few questions:
Who was that guy at the start wearing the hood?

What was Naruto and his Bunshin holding? Was it a resangan?

And is me or is Yamato getting creepier and creepier in each chapter?

As for the fight, I'll post a fight club tomorrow, but the basic run down was.

Naruto attacked Yamato using himself, and a Kage Bunshin disguised as Sai. Yamato recognized it as a bunshin when "Sai" helped Naruto form a Rasengan. Meanwhile the real Sai captured both Naruto, and Yamato using an imprisoning technique. But Yamato escaped using a replacement. Rather then help Naruto out of the prison, Sai went off to fight Yamato alone leaving Naruto to fend for himself.

And Yamato is... interesting... I like him.

I'd have to favor Naruto... I mean Sai has a point, Naruto wasn't fighting very smart. But there is no reason to just abandon him like that, especially in his own technique.

Naruto fights much better in real fights. Sai hasn't seen Naruto fight at his best, that's why he has such little respect for Naruto. And that's the same way Sasuke felt about Naruto when they first met. But when Sasuke had seen Naruto fighting at his best; respect was gained. When Naruto gets into a real life or death fight then Sai will probably have some respect for Naruto.

I think both Naruto and Sai have a low understanding of the other. Each have their own hidden aspects that the either does not know of and thus they both do not respect each other at all.
Sai- He does not understand of Naruto's hidden strengths when he is truly needed and in critical condition and he 'may' have heard about the Kyuubi, but may not know of Naruto's use and techniques while in "kyuubi mode"
Naruto- Naruto does not understand Sai's principles of ninja. Sai is from a division of ninja called ROOT in which your emotions and past are forgotten and he does not care much for others and does not show emotion for others. Since he does not care anything for Naruto, he goes the way that he was taught and instead of helping a team mate, he took the best route in defeating the enemy and went straight for Yamato himself.

yeah i can read/write japanese so i dont have to wait for translations to come out. That doesnt mean I'm going to contribute. I just assumed that you hardcore naruto fans would already have the translations by now and knew what i was talking about.

The next chapter is most likely gonna be about sai's traumatic childhood explaining why he has no feeling as such. Kishimoto want his readers to be able to relate to his new, boring character. This wont be hard seeing how everyother japanese kid in school will be able to relate to this.. lame

Also, I'm kinda disappointed in naruto being so weak. Seems like he hasnt changed much in 3 yrs. At the beginning it seemed like he was cocky and powerful.

i think what we all know is true about naruto is this- he is powerful -if he is allowed to get there.

to be really fair- we also know his basic ninja abilities are lacking. he is very impulsive- letting his emotions get the better of him (this is also maybe one of his best qualities that makes him different from most ninjas and gives him strength). he is not very gifted with intelligence and good strategising but he can pull impossible surprises when one least expects(another of his important qualities).

this is our naruto for you.

and sooner or later SAI was gonna notice- we've had the impression that he is very good. i am glad he told naruto that he naruto was impulsive from the get go. at least he is similar to sasuke but not the same- this should set off some fireworks though. i hope it doesnt botch uup the mission to catch the spy

bleach goes through its story a hell of alot quicker. naruto you can easily have 10+ chapters of a really slow fight. the sasori fight really got mine and others' goats. my reason was the constant yapping and constant "ah i have another trick." by the time he pulled out that army of puppets i thought it was just getting stupid.

with bleach though, ichigo vs. byakuya... an important fight, still shorter than most naruto conflicts and much less conversation/ flash backs. only 2 episodes in the anime too dedicated to that fight!

arguing aside, i'll take a shot in the dark and say the spy is sasuke... he has his nose.

It's that time again... CR's Fight Club ~waits for applause to stop~
~cough~ anyway you know the drill, a panel by panel account of the fights that occured this week. This time we've got, Sai and Naruto Vs. Yamato! Will this duo pull together and pull off a victory? ~uses Magic Eight Ball~ Hrm, all signs point to no. Oh well, better luck next time!

(1) Everything is calm, clouds float lazily by in the morning sky.
(2) Suddenly something whizzes through the air at high speed.
(3) Yamato watches as Sai and Naruto charge at him
(4) Sai and Naruto attack Yamato, who parries their attacks
(5) He easily dodges Naruto's kick.

Yamato: Is this all you've got? Show me more!

(6) Sai kicks at Yamato, while holding out his right hand for Naruto to... make a Rasengan?
(7) Yamato stares at the Rasengan forming in Sai's hand.
(8 ) Yamato readies a technique
(9) Several pieces of wood break out of the ground
The wood wraps around "Sai" trapping him.
(10) The Henge technique fades away, revealing that "Sai" is actually a Kage Bunshin. The real Naruto leaps into the air to dodge the trap.
(11) Naruto hand springs off of the wood trying to trap him.
(12) He flips in midair and launches an attack at Yamato.
(13) Naruto lands on Yamato, pinning him to the ground.
(14) The real Sai watches from behind a nearby tree.
(15) He uses his scroll to draw a snake. Performing a Technique.

Sai: Ninpou Choujuu Gika! (Ninja Arts Great Beast Mimic)

(16) A real snake crawls out of the scroll
(17) The snake grows longer as it slithers towards Naruto and Yamato

Naruto: It's Over!

(18 ) Naruto suddenly notices that the Yamato he's holding is a replacement.
(19) The snake wraps around Naruto and the replacement.

Naruto: Sai! Hey Sai! It's a fake!

(20) Sai turns away from Naruto and notices Yamato in the distance

Naruto: Sai! It's not real! Get it off me!
Sai: Ah, there he is!

(21) Sai disappears into the forest, leaving Naruto behind.

Naruto: Sai...? Hey!! Don't run away! I swear to God, when you get back I'm gonna kill you!

End Fight

Synopsis: Naruto performs Kage Bunshin and disguises one of the Bunshins as Sai. Meanwhile the real Sai hides. Naruto and his Bunshin attack Yamato, who notices that "Sai" is fake when he forms a Rasengan with Naruto. Yamato uses a trap technique to capture the Kage Bunshin, but Naruto dodges and manages to tackle Yamato to the ground. Sai, striking from his hiding place captures Naruto and Yamato using a sealing technique. However Yamato escapes using the Replacement Technique, and Sai follows him, leaving Naruto behind, stuck in his own technique.

I agree with you but... you got to admit there have been times where naruto does something right. First example of this is the Zabusa fight, the Naruto vs. Neji fight, and the brief brawl with that spider guy of Oro. When it comes down to it some times narto comes up with great strategic battle moves. May not happen all the time but their have been times. That is all.. GOOD NIGHT NEW YORK!!

well i say 95% of the fights naruto got into he came up with a plan that the enemy didn't suspect.which makes him a very strtegic perosn but he doesn't really make stuff up like shilimaru.i hope sai isn't as near as strong as naruto is. would seem like naruto didn't grow to much with jiraya.

u know what it always seems that way tho untill he gets into a life or death situation and blows evryones expectations away remeber the chuunin exam when he fought Oro not one of them ever saw it coming and throughout the series hes always been a very fast learner with jiraiya i think he did do alot of progress he just hasent shown it yet caus he didint take the fight that seriously that and sai gets under his skin im not usually a naruto fan ( GO SASUKE) i just happen to hate sai that much i hope the spy beats his little overconfident ass into the ground oh and i also have a theory that hes either gay/had a sex change hes just wayyyy to obssesed with penis for that to b normal

naruto is a spur of the moment type of fighter in my opinion. he stradegizes wen he has to, but otherwise not very bright, well maybe normal lvl or just tiny bit below normal, excet with love ofcourse. i mean he doesent notice hinata, hes very dense. but ofcourse no1 taught him about that stuff, he ha no parents, and jiriya doesent look like the type of guy who wants to explain romance, maybe sex but not romance

well yea, sai has point, but that point is of orochimaru's kind of point. the "forsake others just to accomplish the mission" thing. i have to admit sai must be good and strong. but yet he has lot to learn about real life. this is the part where naruto is best at. all his skills and talents emanates from that knowledge. i would not really concern myself wheather naruto improve under jiraiya, of course he did. its just a matter of time. however, i hope kishimoto would somehow pick up the pace in his manga. bleach is catching up, popularity speaking :wink:

dragoonjason get hypnotized by the power of temaris legs! yea, thats prob my favorite episode, jsut for that reason (135). as for sai being strong, we either havent seen much of his strength or he is just weak. he uses a scroll to summon very weak things that take forever 2 draw. oh and that snake that got naruto, im sure naruto could have easily avoided it if he didnt focus on fighting (dam i forgot his name again!) their leader, yamoto was it? i 4got
