How to make sprites

Since some of you are wondering and asking how to make sprites, I guess I'll make a topic concerning the matter.
Though I dont have the time to make a tutorial for all you guys to see, I can provide links to tutorials that will help you guys along the way.

Sprites can be made with many different art programs. Some of the most used ones would be Paint, Photoshop, and Paint Shop Pro. Any of these will work for making sprites but some provide more tools than others. Many questions about sprites can be answered in previous topics that I have made concerning general information on creating sprites. Now onto the tutorials.

I hope these links help you in becoming a spriter.
Maybe I'll make one on how to create a scratch sprite (the style of spriting I do) to help you guys out. But sorry, for now I dont have the time to make a long tutorial and this is the most I can do.

Though we do not have many spriters on this forum, we still do have some.
So really its just a place for them to post their artowork.

Pixels are what makes up digital art. Like on a sprite, the pixels are the small dots that make up the whole sprite.

wel i like to use photoshop.
if you use the second version of brush name pencil you can draw with pixels. al the shape that you also have as brush but them pixellized.
also the erasing is easyer. and working with layers.

Also many pixel artists use drawing pads to do their sketches and lineart (or outline) so try that if you think it might help. I personally don't use one but I think it'd be quite useful.

Another tip would be, if you have photoshop, to use the burn and dodge tools to find shading colors. The burn tool causes the burned area to become darker and the dodge tool lighter.

i know,i can already make sprites in adobe and paint,but in all the tutorials it says to make a pallete and things i cat figure out ,
does it mean define custom colors and then evrytime u switch open it again?

you cut the sprites and save them to files and load it in an animator,
adobe is both so its more convinient
