Not too shabby of a chapter. Gives a little back ground on Ikkaku, after affects of Ichigo & company's departure from Soul society, as well as a preview for the upcoming fights. So I lied, it was a good chapter and not a shabby one. :shock:

i already read the scanlation from some site- and it was pretty good quality too. i didnt post it because i thought M7 would release their HQ version pretty soon.

It was a flashback. It explains why Ikkaku refused to show that he had a ban kai and become a captain.

I suppose they threw it in to explain why Ikkaku, being able to use ban kai didn't end up being a captain, and also as a quick flashback because he was just straight messed up by his opponent in both situations.

On another note, did the volcanic arms dude die? He had a pretty good chunk blown out of him.

And Abarai and Hitsoruyuga (sp?) dont' look like they're doing too well... :(

umm does that mean ikkau was able to use bankia since we first saw him?if so what the hell he's dumb for not wanting to be a captain.and does this mean renji wil try to become a captain.

atm it still doesn't look like renji has an adequate grasp of his ban kai. the opposition keeps running rings round him. it could be either the ban kai itself is a bit pants (ikkakus was just a beefed up hoozukimaru) or hes just facing the wrong people each battle.

well he achieved bankia but it takes 10years for you to master it.but renji has been facing ppl stronger than him so it makes his bankia seem wack.
