Was it Sai? If so then I trully do think he is gay... staring at Naruto in the bath house, his main dicussion is about dicks, if he ain't gay, then he's one of the weirdest characters I've ever seen!!

Btw, you guys think they will edit that out in the anime??

I doubt they'll edit that in the anime, maybe for the English Anime, but not for the JP one.

As for Sai, he just has trouble relating to people, poor kid.

And I think they will edit it out, since isn't the anime shown at a 7:30 time-slot?
I think even the japanese animators, would consider that inappropriate.

where did you see that, "his generation" was mentionned but none say which it is :wink:
plus he looks a bit older than the other to me

Well, I'm sure they won't show Naruto's "hidden leaf" but I'm sure that the context of the scene will be kept the same.

I'd assume he's at least the same age as Naruto and Sakura... I'd say, 15-16.

How could the Fifth allow Sakura go with Naruto knowing who he'd been trained by...

Anyway I had forgotten the comment he had made when they first fought. And I dont like either of the two n00bs. Sakura and Naruto have been on this mission for nearly three years. This mission started long before the Fifth created this team yet these two come in acting the way they do. For the success of this mission, I'd propose they send those two back and take anyone they can in place of them. Even if its the Fifth herself. You know these two are going to continue to create major conflicts, and thats if they are loyal to the Hidden Leaf.

Either that or its painfully obvious I dont like either of these two. ^_^"

If you think about Yamato isn't only an ANBU, but according to Tsunade he's one of the best and you'd think that Sasuke business with Oro is common knowledge to all upper ranked nins by now.
And Sai, I assume he already knows a great deal too, since he mentioned it to Sakura and Naruto in this chapter. He probably just interpreted it wrong and the same way I did, that Sasuke was a traitor only looking for power.

Tsunade didn't want to send Sai, she was forced too by the Elders. And since Kakashi was out of comission, she had to send somebody she could trust as leader, enter Yamato.

We know Yamato is loyal to Tsunade and will help Naruto and Sakura. Sai is the wild card.

But there is a huge difference between knowing whats going on, and actually being there. Naruto knows Sasuke better then anyone with the exception of maybe Kakashi. Sakura is probably the person he cares most about though he doesnt show it often. Only when he knew / thought he'd never see her again that he told her "thank you". She nursed him back to health and was almost motherly towards him in some situations. In the end they are his family. Knowing this, yes Yamato should take charge, but at the same time Sai is only in the Kakashi team because he was leveraged in there. He talks down to Naruto, he has no intention of laying low and doing his job or trying to create commradery with his new team-mates. He almost seems to be threatening them. My question is why isnt Yamato explaining these things to Sai. True Naruto isnt making this easy, but if Sai were to just lay low this very dangerous mission would go alot easier and I'm certain Naruto and Sakura would trust him more if he'd be more submissive.

Naruto and Sakura know Sasuke as a person.

Yamato and Sai do not, that is the difference between them.

To Sai, Sasuke is nothing but a traitor. He's a missing-nin who abandoned his village to join their worst enemy. To Yamato, Sasuke isn't even on the radar, his mission is to escort Sakura, Naruto, and Sai to the World Bridge. Were he to think about Sasuke he'd probably see him as a person who was manipulated into serving Orochimaru.

Yeah what CR said and besides their mission doesn't have anything to do with Sasuke really. All their mission involves is capturing the spy from the Akatsuki, who has infiltrated Orochimaru's organisation. So that they can learn more about Orochimaru's plans. They may not need Sai or Yamto after that and it could go back to normal.

Personally I think the mission will become a diaster. The spy from Akatsuki will probably be ambushed by Orochimaru's men and because of Team 7's lack of teamwork, the spy from Akatsuki will end up dying before anyone gets information from him.

it looks like everybody is looking for a disaster to happen. like sai trying to assasinate sasuke if he appears at the world bridge for been a traitor and a missing-nin as well as the worst threat to konoha from orochimaru's side if he manages to take over sasuke's mind and body. and this will result in sakura and naruto getting on his case. this is one of my chaos-based theories for troubele on this mission

trouble on the horizon- i cant wait for the next chapter already :x

i think the mission will meet troube as they should be and sai having his arrogant, implied self proclamation of superiority would try handle everything. but in the end he will end up with naruto covering for his ass. thus, sai will be changed by naruto's strange talent. :?

the team will be attacked by some mist nins, who are working for a high class ninja called zubaza. when they get to the bridge they find its not finished, and the spy is in fact trying to get the bridge built so akatsuki can cross continents to an ice cream shop.

in this arc naruto stabs his hand again and sai gets petrified by intense ninja energy.



basically when sasuke reappears will decide whether i keep the same level of interest that i did when watching earlier episodes.
